These are good for the money, but I went with the GX CS4. Water cooled via on board reservoir, radiator, QUIET ( half the noise of my Readyair) and it can fill scuba tanks. Half hour of running and the water is barely warm.
Just got the larger Vevor. It's OK. Stays cool. Not very strong. Takes time to fill rifles. Ordered the GX CS4. Twice the money but it fills large SBCA tanks too with a multi stage water cooled pump and very very quiet.
Any problems after having the GX CS4 for a while? I'm new to air guns, and I don't have one yet. Putting together some options to see what the up front costs are.
I used a hand pump for a bit before that got old. I bought a 250 YH off Amazon and I freaking love that thing. I still use the hand pump at times to top off my guns.
Way good video! And even happened to fill a 13ci tank in the test - which is the same size tank my Sig Virtus uses (my only PCP btw). I fill my Virtus with a DIY pumping machine - which basically is just a chinese hand pump. Takes noticeably longer to just fill up from sub 100bar to 200bar - but the reloading of all used magbelts goes along that time..😁🤣 But. Whenever gonna get a decent compressor with 12V option - videos like these do help. Not sure what'd be best option - but of these, I think I'd still go with the Vevor myself... Based just on a gut feeling. Them GX comoressors though been on my mind for quite some time...
Shouldn't you have added a filter to the JTS to keep everything equal? I don't know anyone that would not add a filter to keep water moisture out of their gun reservoir.
$550, $500, and $250. Hmmmmm. Looking for one to fill guns directly, already have a water cooled Yong Heng for my tank. The VEVOR seems to tick all the boxes for me at the right price point. Cables for running off a car battery stowed right there.
My body is tired of useing a hand pump ,,,,but I just bought a vevor hand pump and it's better than my hill at a fraction of the cost ,,,,I'm,in,the process of a compressor ,,,,.ill probubly go with the jts ,,,,,
I just got one of those vevor ones. Im hoping that If I install some additional high RPM fans, it will extend it's life. what is the voltage of the fans it has? 12 volt? or 24 volt?
Isn't there another variable in this test? You manually set the auto stop pressure on these units. How do you know that they are all set EXACTLY the same? Just because you feel you set them to the same number doesn't mean they are set exactly the same... Great video anyway!
You still need a filter! I use an Amazon aluminium filter that has replacement tampons, for extra peace of mind I use molecular sieve with colour changing silica beads. Cheaper than paying for a Hills filter but the same filtration.
I could not find any online negative reviews, and bought the spiritech. Worked great for 4 short fills. Stopped getting above 3200 psi, needed daily maintenance. Their online video showed daily maintenance being at least a 1 hour job, requiring new parts. Total junk.
Heat and water are why these compressors fail. All air has humidity, even desert air at a 10°F dew point will cause condensation between stages. This destroys seals on pistons. Very few have water separation between stages. Feeding a compressor with absolutely dry air is the best method of keeping a pump dry.
@stevendavies6209 I went with the omega air charger. I got a GX-CS3-1 first and loved it for..... 3 days lol amazon gave me a full refund that went towards the omega. 2yrs and no problems as of yet
My best friend has a $1500.00 air Venturi compressor and it's been replaced two times and sent back four times for repairs ! It's spent more time in the shop than being used to fill guns ! 😞
All of these compressors share the same genes. They all work well, are made in China, and most like they all came out of the same building but with different paint jobs and stickers on them. Point is…it’s how you use or abuse them that makes the difference. Heat is their worst enemy. I have 4 compressors. They are all made in China and work great. 2 Yong Hengs and 2 ac/dc compressors. I don’t abuse them or try to make them do thing they can’t like topppng off to 4500 psi. No need! The most they see is 4350 psi. I don’t let them get hot! The Yong Hengs are going on 4 years and the ac/dc 2.5. Average cylinder on an airgun is 480cc and 250 bar. The Avengers go to 4350 as do the 6.8-3.0-100ci & 68ci carbon fiber tanks. Yes you can get a lemon but it’s not likely without the operator doing something wrong.
@@heathhalfhill6401 There is no operator error involved with the four $1500.00 air Venturi compressors in this case ! My friend that is using them has 20 years of experience with compressors and airguns !! And he repairs them so he knows what he's doing ! Even air Venturi says that they were factory defects in the machines that he got ! One bad compressor I could understand but four in a row !! That's just duping customers out of their money !!
I do NOT recommend the VEVOR. I bought the single fan and the 2 fan model. I haven’t had either one 3 months yet. They both went down. Customer service screwed me around over a week asking for pictures and videos. They started asking for videos to demonstrate issues that I had already sent videos to demonstrate. I finally refused to send more videos, that should look back at the videos already emailed. They then admitted the problem. They said they would send replacement videos demonstrating how to replace the cylinder. I first told them that would be ok. Then They then told me it will take 3 weeks for the replacement parts to come in the mail. I told them that is unacceptable. I need a replacement if they can’t repair it. They are refusing. They said if the part doesn’t fix the problem when it arrives. They will give me a 1 year warranty! lol, we already see what that is worth. They then sent me an email wanting me to say I agreed with their offer. I just sent an email saying it is NOT ok. I guess I’ll see what they say tomorrow. I can’t say they are a reputable company to deal with.
I would have liked the video EXCEPT for the constant pop ups promoting your videos ("Subscribe"). A polite ":If you enjoyed this video, please hit the "Like" button and consider subscribing so you don't miss future air gun videos" at the beginning and/or end would be far less annoying.
Bought one, it died on the second use in less than a week of ownership. They offered me parts and then offered me 1/4 refund. I asked multiple times for a full refund and or exchange or upgrade. Nothing. Do not buy if you value reliability and your hard earned money. Still dealing with Vevor support. Would not buy from this company ever again. Very disappointing. Cheap junk.
I'll put up my two auto anytime against these pieces of shit. Customer service is a joke. Send me parts to repair it myself and not all the parts I needed. Junk DO NOT BUY.
I have gone through several compressors the vevor broke in less than 2 mo's. I currently have a gx gs3 and it has worked well for me

Thank you. Now let's discuss water separators for the hp pumps.
My thing with compressors is longevity and ease of maintenance
if it saves me money but still fills the rifle, I would buy with my head and go for the Vevor.

I have the Omega Trail Charger and it has worked great for over a year now….
Nice review Rick good info ! 👍
LOL. But he said the Rovair has one fan, and it obviously has two fans.
I hope the vevor holds up I ordered it last night. Now I'm watching reviews lol😂
At marker 2:10 you said the Rovair has a single fan, but it obviously has two. You got the RovAir and JTS backwards.
How is the durability of the umarex Readyair compared to these compressors?
Shouldn't you have added a filter to the JTS to keep everything equal? I don't know anyone that would not add a filter to keep water moisture out of their gun reservoir.
I ran them as they came out of the box.

i think it has a internal filter

I miss having a air compressor. 😢
The Vevor has dropped $100.00 + in the last few months. I just bought one for $268.00 .
How you liking it so far, im thinking of getting one
Because the reviews are saying they take a shit after 5 months

Ya got the hose on backwards. The filter should plug into the tank as not to pick up anything from the hose.
faltou voce dizer em qual temperatura eles trabalharam!!!
JTS has a built in water separator FYI

All of those air-cooled units are so damn loud LOL I would just get a GX CS4 or a Omega Air charger
They are all air cooled with the CS4 having water cooling to help with Scuba tank filling needs extra cooling due to the extra run time.
@stevendavies6209 I went with the omega air charger. I got a GX-CS3-1 first and loved it for..... 3 days lol amazon gave me a full refund that went towards the omega. 2yrs and no problems as of yet
The air Venturi is the worst from my own experience. Vevor wins imo and it’s half the price.
The Rov Air is just a nomad btw without the led lights.
