Never thought about the dangers of compressed air.
    Great point.

4500 psi has quite a lot of stored potential

There are at least 6 brands using this basic design. Only a few have moisture trap between the stages. Humidity in air condenses out between stages which damages valves and seals.
I have a Spiritech brand of this compressor, i modified it to accept ultra dry air from a 120 PSI tank half full of desiccant through a regulator set at 3 PSI.
The other issue is grease migration through the bottom seal in the second stage. Grease can ignite, causing soot and rupture of tge burst disc.
I've run silicone oil through my unit when ever the output decreases. I run the compressor until no more oil comes out of the bleed screw.

Good move on the extra filter. I want to recommend to up grade the cooling system and add more cooling on your hpa pump really all hpa pump. the reason why almost all of the hpa pumps fail is because of the heat generated. from building so much pressure the wear and tear higher. Also Even though they say it builds 4500 psi most of the hpa pumps don't like over 3500. You can also cut down the fan noise by replacing it with a brush less motor fan. Cooling is key to a longer life specially if you can cool the pump it self directly it self most of the time the heat reading is over all not the actual temp of the actual pump it self. Just a fyi. P.s. I use to help rebuild compressor and hydraulic pump. on the side for a company after work.🎯🛠️💯👍✌️🍻

No more 12v oil less compressors for me. Yong Heng will fill in 30 seconds what the oil less ones took 3 minutes or more to do. And Wal-Mart has them for 175.00

I have the exact same compressor I've had it for about 3 months The bearing went out on it That connects to the piston Rod By the motor I replace the Bearing It works fine But I don't like the way The Motor Turns are bearing It's like banging in a box That's why it makes a knocking noise Is that why my bearing went out If you open it up you know what I'm talking about I'm going to make a double bearing Arm It will work a 100 times smoother And function a lot better and quieter

You need to take it apart and oil it with some silicone oil and it'll run a whole lot longer👍

Mine heats up more than that and so does my back up. I would check the temperature probe and make sure it is hooked up to the cylinder head. It may be just hanging loose inside. 18 minutes running and only 31 C . Something is not right.

You need to oil yours. I had to take mine apart and oil it for that reason👍

Bought one hooked it up to my 1.5 tank for my SIG, how long before it starts building up pressure? On there 4 minutes and no pressure on the gauge at all?

Ive heard good and bad reviews about Vevor products!
Hard to say if some of those failures were related to user error /maintenance or build quality but with that said they all seem to break one day or an other no matter the brand
*Yours seems to be running strong!*
_anyway I bet you can show us how to fix it if it breaks haha_

      @WalnutandSteel  Рік тому +2

I purchased it on Amazon i have it in my amazon store front in the airgun accessories section. The link to my store front is in the description of the video. I think they were around 50 bucks last time I looked.

The filter’s capacity is basically added to the capacity of your guns air cylinder essentially. Say your filter volume is 100 cc and your gun is 200 cc then your basically fill a 300 cc air cylinder. It does take more time without question.

I used mine probably once a week for one Air Rifle & it was dead in 11 months BUT I bought mine from Walmart's website & got a 3 year Protection Plan for $22 so I just got a full refund.

On my second unit & after I use it I unplug the air hose & run it for 10 seconds to see it spit out water.
I added a water filter to the hose on the compressor end so the hose now has 2 filters but I disconnect the hose & large secondary filter after I use it to dry out the hose & filters.
My second compressor has a separate 12v/120v converter but I run it mostly from a 12v car battery because it runs a little slower & cooler

Case in point, I'd say. Don't fill your$2k pcp's with a $200 compressor. Good luck, gentlemen. Could work amazing but I'll save up for a "proper" machine. Guys that can put add on's to make it run clean got it made with this one

What's theses PCP compressers for what can u do with it, is it the same as u can use it to blow up ur car tires and bike tires,? and u could do bb guns with it is that the only thing there used for

    • @WalnutandSteel

Its only intended to charge a precharged pneumatic air rifle to up to 4000 psi. Far too high of pressure to use on tires
