Hey Huddison! Great vid once again my friend! 😎
Little tip for you and the gang here. To set Freelook to a default so you don't have to change it each flight:
Go to Options -> General Options -> Camera -> Cockpit Camera -> Freelook Speed. Adjust to what you want, then click "Apply And Save"
Should maintain your settings for every flight from that point on.

Hey Huddo, that was very helpful! I have a new Thrustmaster Airbus addition joystick that I will try this on. I am really a GA fan so I'm going to try to tailor it to that. I wish we could download profiles to use!
It should work with the airbus edition. Being able to download profiles would be very useful.

I think this panoramic is better for External view, cockpit is more for instraument, actually i've done both and it works. Strangely some buttons have actions even if they're not assigned (bt.5 left-quickview) Others (2346) are assigned by default but don't have actions. CYborg evo force

Excellent explanation of the camerasystem.
Can you please explain how to get TrackIR up there between your various controls? And does it offer any advantages to have it there? I have TrackIR installed for a while now and it works great but i've never seen it up between my controls.
Use a button on your controller to get down to instruments; that's how I do it when using my Delan Clip.

Hi Huddison again a great tutorial. However does not all work for me as I am using an older logitech G940 system (which I Like), but most of the advice is great. I have a stupid question here. When I watch your video the London scenery seem s great, far better than mine is there an addon to get the better scenery which I have not found.
I have Orbx London Landmarks and London City Airport addons installed - it seems to bling up London a bit.
Great videos from my youtube teacher! I did the same for the external vieuws but ..... every time the vieuw jumps back to the default setting, I have been looking for a setting to repaer this, but no succes until now. Does my teacher have the solusion? I hope so, Thank you.
Sounds like possible double settings conflicts.
Love the tips, but I still have the issue that the view does not 'hold' wherever I turn it to in the cockpit, making it almost impossible to read let alone press any switches. I really would like to have the cameras set up as the older FS games, how do I do that?

Thank you. When you have a moment, could you explain how you think the series s/x will operate as far as add-ons, little navmap, other apps, etc.? Will the use of MS Edge on the console be required to use these and other apps as in FL2020 PC? Community Folder? Any information is greatly appreciated.
I don't have any insider knowledge of how add-ons will function with the Xbox consoles, but my instincts is in the short term (maybe the first 6 months to one year or so), add-ons will only be available from/in the Simulator marketplace.
Time will soon tell.
All 3rd party addons on pc will be available for xbox day 1 from the store jorg said it in the E3 interview he did.
@@ianminto5917 he was talking about 3rd party adonn's in the MSFS marketplace, not the one's you run on you PC under Windows. Microsoft only list's the way to connect the Xbox one to a PC no mention of the Xbox S or the Xbox X wich are the only two Who can run MSFS.
Followed instructins,but no matter where I point that switch,the view jumps back to the rear/chase view,this is in external camera,cockpit is ok
In previous I meant hat switch,external camera always returns to chase view as soon as the hat switch is released?
in camera options, ensure toggle is selected, rather than 'hold'.
Can you save changes in different profiles you can try out so you don't screw up your MSF?
Yes, you should have no issues setting up different profiles for this.

why does my camera reset back to the dash by it self and not stgay where i am lookin g
Make sure you have 'Toggle' Quick View Function selected, under General Options/Camera settings.
Why in my list I don't have the cockpit look down setting?

I'm dumb n dumber...Sir...I set up internal cam, all good, deleted external quick views, put in new joystick pov left, right, up and down Y saved and back in tha aircraft all good in but quick views still on external! ???? I'm going 🤪 crazy...what am I not doing?
I know on my Series S, there was an issue setting up both external & internal views to freelook; which version of MSFS are you using?

MSFS is a huge flop in my opinion. Very cartoony handling characteristics, so many bugs, and now just for a basic control option you need a 17 minute tutorial. This is ridiculous. FSX will always be superior.
