I bought the stl files off Ryan and just sent them off to a 3rd party to be printed. There are loads of companies out there doing it and they all have really quick online systems to spec out what materials etc. But shop around, some are far cheaper than others. Cost me about £40 for 3 brackets, caps and rings, not bad considering they do all the supports etc. and post it out to me.
Do you maybe have instruction manual about how to attach the brackets to the XP1 pedals? I have seen your video and it only shows how to attach the haptic motors to the bracket…
I have been using PLA with 3 walls/20% infill. I am still using the same bracket from this video and never had an issue. ambient temp highest was about 30C. Good Luck !
Thanks I have ordered. It would be awesome if you could design an adapter that would work with this bracket. Or design another that would let us connect the Earthquake MQB-1 bass shaker as this offers much stronger feedback than the HPR.
I dont think i will look for other pedals after this. I came from Fanatec V3 to Asetek Invictas. This is more of my driving style. Has enough travel and my knee don't hurt after long races :) I still have mine in default setup.
Looks nice. But how are the reactors connected to the pc? When installed on the p1000, they get connected to the base plate and use the usb cable the pedals provide. Power comes aswell through the base plate.
You will need the Simagic control box, power supply and USB (amazon) cable. The hardware that came with the motors is what you will also use to mount them to the bracket. Cheers !
Hello Ryan, great mod and lots off creativity going into this project. There is lot of fuzz about those addons. I have a bass shaker mounted underneath the pedal plate, powered by very cheap amp from aliexpress connected to simhub, which drives the feedback from iRacing. Do you think, there is any significant advantage in this setup of yours in comparsion to mine?
Thanks for watching! With this setup you can individually feel the haptics on the brakes and gas. With the whole plate shaking both pedals rumble? But if it feels right for you, specially on the brakes then you are good. Abs I think is more important. I personally just have TC and wheel slip on for the accelerator pedal with ABS for the brakes. I also have a rumble motor below my seat for other effects. Maybe if you can transfer what you have now on the brake itself and add another one for the gas. You get better tunning options.
@@racingwithryan214 Thanks for the answer. I have the shaker on the plate only for AB, TC and wheel slip as well. Yes it rumbles the whole plate but the ABS occures only when you brake so its somehow connected to the pedal engagement. Beside that, (and i have no proof, i did read this somewhere) human brain is able to differ between different frequencies quite good. So i have 40Hz for ABS and 30Hz for TC and it is indeed a different signal. Just out of curiosity, what values do you use, please? Pitty it is impossible to test both setup at once i would really love to know how much appart those 2 solutions are.
Hey man I’d really like to buy the complete printed part from you. I don’t own a 3d printer. Is there anyway you can print me a set and I’ll buy them from your Etsy store? You’d be a life saver!
I am stuck with inventory at the moment because of the local post office went on strike since last week :( other options of shipping cost alot more. Hopefully the strike will be over this week. *cross fingers*
@ryansgarage214 nicely done 👌 Is there a reason you don't want to have haptic feedback for the clutch? Also, do you have the STL file shared online perhaps or are you willing to share it? #askingforafriend
Please could you send me the 3d print file? I was going to look into doing this but have never ventured into it before. I would forever pray with your name to God and name my first born "Ryans Garage"

How did you get the XP1 pedals to work with the haptics
I wish I had a 3d printer so I could do this! Awesome Mod!
Thank you! they are becoming more reasonable now compared to 10 yrs ago :) so user friendly too!

Great that you attached it but would be better if there was a camera to the pedals to show the vibration motors as well, good job!
@@AKTechIT great idea ! I will try to create a quick video focusing on the movement in the future.
Shame nobody has done a Venym Atrax model yet. Nice video
Thanks for watching ! Unfortunately, I dont have access to those pedals to make a mount.
That looks amazing. 3D printing in the works !
Yes ! makes your creativity into a reality. it pretty fun

Just bought these pedals. Yes! Thanks!
Can you design a dampener mount?
Send me the specs or link of the damper you plan to use. Maybe i can design a mount without buying a damper :)
Good job Ryan!
Thank you! this I must say is a worth it DIY.
Any luck getting more of these in the near future? Page is not working for me tonight.
thanks for this! does it work also with the new HPR Neo ?
What filament did you use to print it? I was thinking of maybe Petg but it’s too flexible on thinner prints or pla+ but it’s too brittle
I have been using PLA with 3 walls/20% infill. I am still using the same bracket from this video and never had an issue. ambient temp highest was about 30C. Good Luck !
@ damn I printed at 6 walls and 50% infil but thanks if I ever need to replace it!
Thanks I have ordered.

Looks amazing! How about that pedals (without any mod), I'm going to get one of those in about some weeks and I'm hyped!

How is the hpr feedback performance for throttle and clutch pedals? Is it advantageous or gimmicky?
You have any more stock or shipping issues still?
@@kevinmcrell4899 slowly getting better but will start realeasing stock next week.
nice work. Do you need the simagic Haptic Control Box to make them work with your pedals?
Thank you !.. yes i had to buy the control box too.

In my case, i had to but the control box then connects to the PC. I chose simhub to control them since I already use them for other features.
where did you got the control box? TY@@racingwithryan214
Do these work if the car has no abs and activate when the wheels lock?
Yes! it will vibrate when wheels lock. I have it enabled in simhub. You can feel it more when driving open wheel races.
@@racingwithryan214thanks for your reply
Wow this is amazing!! I just ordered my set of the XP1 pedals. What components are needed to run the Simagic HPR accessories?
