Beauty of a 530! Amazing how much that burner cap quiets them down. You’re videos have always been a big help to our hobby. I’ve got to track down one of those silent burner caps one of these days. Thank you for the content!
@naifalfehaid5205 Probably not possible, or, not economically so. You'd be better finding a replacement stove. If yours is like the one in this video... they aren't that rare. You can simply get another. Good luck. BD
Does priming with alcohol build pressure in the tank or just preheat the generator? I’m just making sure I would still need to pump up pressure in the tank.
@petek3979 Good question! The alcohol heats the bell, genie, and (if you use one) the silent cap. It won't pressure the tank. You'll still need to pump. BD
@rodh2168 Fine and dandy if you are using a flame plate. Really BAD idea if you are using an aftermarket silent damper cap - will cause underburn and melt the cap. Always light the top of the silent damper cap after the preheat flames have gone out. BD
Nice to see a video out by you😊
Those spirit cups are simple yet ingenious. Excellent work sir!
Thank you! Cheers!

Thanks 👍 links to cap in the description below the video - no "tracking down" required. BD
@@BernieDawgCinema thank you sir 👍🏻
I’ll check them out now.
Wishing you and yours a healthy productive 2024.
Thanks for the vids.
Makes me want to bust mine out. Good to see you again.
Glad to see ya Gary. Best wishes for a pleasant and comfortable year. ......Cavry.
Same to you!
Excellent. Thanks Gary.... BTW a couple of years ago I picked up a 2 burner military stove, I think used for sterilization of med supples.
Yes. I had one, too. I sold mine off after a time. The preheat cup trick works on those, too. BD
That is what I was wondering. Thank you.@@BernieDawgCinema
Nice informative video Gary! All the best….Cam from England
Thanks 👍
Great job
Thank you for sharing
Lovely stove. It must have been some weird military request for design so it ended up so high. I would be so scares using it to flip the food :)
Nice!
My friend, I have two cracks in the fuel tank that I need to weld. Please tell me how I would like an answer if it is necessary

Good stuff! Bring back the voiceover! (If possible)
What size are the holes in the polardawg?
Why do you ask? Is there a plan afoot? 😀 BD
Where can i get a cap like that?
@tomkipp66 Link is in the description box below the video. BD
I open valve while alcohol still burning. My choice.
