I took my love, I took it down I climbed a mountain and I turned around And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills 'Til the landslide brought me down Oh, mirror in the sky What is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life? Well, I've been afraid of changin' 'Cause I've built my life around you But time makes you bolder Even children get older And I'm getting older too Well, I've been afraid of changin' 'Cause I've built my life around you But time makes you bolder Even children get older And I'm getting older too Oh! I'm getting older too Oh-oh, take my love, take it down Oh-oh, climb a mountain and you turn around And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills Well, the landslide bring it down And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills Well, the landslide bring it down Oh-ohh, the landslide bring it down
Really nice rendition of this song - both vocals and the flawless finger-style. I really appreciate the vertical fretboard and horizontal tabs. They make it easy to follow and learn from. Thanks for posting it.
wow .. that fingerstyle solo @ 1:50 was crazy good - i don't know how long it took you to play it like that but you make it look easy and IT'S really NOT !! Perfect as always .. thanks for sharing this !!
@@okrunner I feel like that's this song in general. It's a good mix of basic finger style and more complex stuff. Good for someone who's been playing for a bit and wants a jump in difficulty.
Have futzed around with many lessons on this -- this is the first that gave me a complete end-to-end version I was able to learn. And the electric solo is a great bonus. Thanks so much!
Until right now I thoust the Lindsay solo in the middle was a second guitar. I used to play this with my daughter and I remember never touching the low E string. Saw that you muted it for much of the song. Clever! Great version!
awesome video!!! I learned this during down time because of an ice storm. After I learned it all the way through, I listened to the Fleetwood Mac original and was surprised. He puts the emphasis on the bass note. You put the emphasis on the alternating C & D of the B string. Also, I don't hear the 2nd bass note that you have. What I hear is the bass note (5th string) ringing strong and uninterrupted - and then 3rd string, 4th string, 2nd, 4th, 3rd. But, I don't have great hearing either. Anybody else hear something different? Great lead adaptation! Lots of fun to play!!! Thank you very much!!! edit - I tried both ways and I like this version better for fingerpicking because of the alternating thumb. And the ringing out of the 2nd string is... adictive...
Thanks so much for making this available. I am particularly striving to learn the guitar break and loving it. Wonderful cover and wonderful guitar tabs.
Thank you very much! Very nice presentation of the material, and super playing. The tone is great and you balance all of the voices very nicely, especially in the solo which sounds _fantastic_. So nice to listen to, and a great level to shoot for. Cheers and best wishes!
Never thought Id like someone else singing this song. I came here to learn sir lol i keep getting distracted just listening to it lol i love it! Thankyou!
Thank you! This is beautiful! I'm learning this to send a mini recording to my boss as a surprise for her birthday next month! This is one of her favorites.
Awesome cover. Once I’m back from college, going to actually commit to learning to the play guitar and be able to play this song for my friends at a campfire :D
Thanks for this. When I learned this (relearning it because I haven't played it in a while) originally I learned it with a Em7 instead of G/B. I guess in the case of the notes used in this song, it doesn't matter how you look at it. Or am I missing something? I play my Em7 with an open D string and the D and the 3rd fret of the B string unless playing the E on the 2nd fret of the D sounds better for what I am playing.
Awesome, Echt Geil, Danke dir :) The voice in the background is perfect, when I am ready to sing along, I can. .. Fantastic concept, "...you killed two flys with one fly swatter.."... I agree with b1..
Love this song so much. Especially the Smashing Pumpkins acoustic version, but actually it sounds different than yours. A wonderful job, mate nevertheless!Love your playing and chanel.👏👍👍👍👍
by far the best channel to learn a song
Yes indeed!
I totally agree. :3
Thanks mate! I appreciate that :)

Wow, thank you so much!
I took me about a week to get that solo down. Yea, it's not the easiest one, but if you break down to little pieces it's really not that terrible.
@@okrunner I feel like that's this song in general. It's a good mix of basic finger style and more complex stuff. Good for someone who's been playing for a bit and wants a jump in difficulty.
Both the voice and guitar are just excellent!
this is the perfect way to teach a song

Your set up is amazing. So easy to follow.
Thanks, glad to hear that!
Honestly, I feel like you don’t even need the electric guitar solo. Lindsey’s acoustic and Stevie’s voice is enough.
These are without a doubt the best tutorials anywhere. Thank you so much!
I don't even play guitar but this is Beautiful! Thank you for this great cover!🇵🇭

I'm here for South Park and The Walking Dead. What amazing song and amazing video!
When playing D/F# it's more colorful to go for a D7/F#. Simply change to the first fret on the second string: 200212. Just sayin'. Beautiful song!
Thanks
