Really good point, these things make it basically impossible to play a song perfectly. So many little things you can change and improve to make it much better! You have to really feel the emotion behind the melody 😊

I've just started learning to play guitar around 10 days ago. I try to practice everyday at least up to an hour and return to this tutorial every other day to continue learning this cover. It's so motivating to be able to see my own progress as I'm getting used to playing, now I finally can make it to the end of the video part-by-part! The visual for the timingt when to hit makes it so "easy" to learn. I just started playing the guitar again and just listening to it and later mute the parts and play by yourself whilst seeing the mark showing you when to hit makes it realy enjoyable to learn WITH YOU. Definitly gonna check out more after this one!

Finding this has made me pick up my guitar again after not touching it for 10 years, fingers sore, alot of pausing and re-trying but got to the end .... Need to practise now

When i started playing guitar that was one of my favourite things to do, figure out melodies on the guitar. It's really good training for the musicality of your ear, keep it up 😄
Thanks for watching, glad it's helping! I do think nowadays you can learn everything on UA-cam. Try learning guitar techniques like: hammer on, pull off, vibrato, barre chords, slides. Try out some harder channels like Yunus Guitar or Kenneth Acoustic 😊 Also check out some videos on right hand positioning, it's easy to learn bad habits in the beginning.

I know this is a year old, but I have a very beginner question that you may still answer! Are the numbers on screen indicators of which fret chords or strings are played on? Like, when it says zero on a top string, does that mean you just play the string and don't play anything on a fret? And if it says three on the second string, that means that you strum the string and press the string on the third fret at the same time? Again, I have no skill whatsoever in guitar or music understanding, so even my question might not make sense. Sadly, I've had my guitar for over ten years and haven't ever learned to play it. But if there is one thing that might get me to finally commit myself to learning, it's LOTR and The Hobbit.
Sorry for the late reply! Yes you're correct, just remember that tabs are kinda 'upside down' so the bottom line/string on the screen is actually the thick bass string on the guitar. Also the word chord means multiple notes played at the same time, so like if you hold down 2/3 fingers and then strum through several strings. Goodluck, hope you're having fun! 😄

Yeah, memorizing the songs is really hard but it's the best thing to do i promise. I can't play songs from memory anymore and it sucks 😅
Good video. I like the progressively more complex versions in each section..helps guitarists find an appropriate difficulty version.

Very common mistake to make! The tabs are always flipped (upside down) unfortunately.. just the way it's been for 100s of years 😅

Thanks for watching, glad it's helping! I do think nowadays you can learn everything on UA-cam. Try learning guitar techniques like: hammer on, pull off, vibrato, barre chords, slides. Try out some harder channels like Yunus Guitar or Kenneth Acoustic 😊 Also check out some videos on right hand positioning, it's easy to learn bad habits in the beginning.

I know this is a year old, but I have a very beginner question that you may still answer!
Are the numbers on screen indicators of which fret chords or strings are played on? Like, when it says zero on a top string, does that mean you just play the string and don't play anything on a fret? And if it says three on the second string, that means that you strum the string and press the string on the third fret at the same time?
Again, I have no skill whatsoever in guitar or music understanding, so even my question might not make sense. Sadly, I've had my guitar for over ten years and haven't ever learned to play it. But if there is one thing that might get me to finally commit myself to learning, it's LOTR and The Hobbit.
Sorry for the late reply! Yes you're correct, just remember that tabs are kinda 'upside down' so the bottom line/string on the screen is actually the thick bass string on the guitar. Also the word chord means multiple notes played at the same time, so like if you hold down 2/3 fingers and then strum through several strings. Goodluck, hope you're having fun! 😄
