I used to sing this at the top of my lungs to my husband Damon. 15 years of marriage and 4 kids later he was killed on his way to work one day 4 days after Christmas. Now I sing it to my children and miss the man we built our life around. Learning to continue on without you is the hardest. Damon, the children are getting older....RIP forever 37
Stevie singing to Lindsey, Lindsey teary eyed trying to hold it together when he pauses…this is a transcendent moment that is about a lot more than a song. God bless both of them.
My daughter, Autumn, was born on July 1, 2024 and died July 12, 2024. I played her this song as she was passing away in my arms. I thought about the lifetime of memories we could of had together. Autumn, daddy loves you forever and always.
I was 17, now 65, and I totally understand it. I have climbed so many mountains, and this song always has a place in my heart, and yes, my reflection is old, but my heart is young and I can still hear my first love play this song to me. ❤
I was in traffic on my way to work and this song came on. And I started to cry and wished with all of my heart that I could turn around. When I got to to work and was in the parking garage, I couldn’t stop the tears. My parents have passed. I’m turning 60, my Dad passed away at 60. No kids because of illness and complete hysterectomy. I end. With. Me. Unless you see me in the sunshine.
Sorry for your loss. It's a beautiful song and having this to remember some part of her, although terribly sad, is also beautiful. The pain comes in waves, I hope it gets easier sooner or later. Stay strong.
I took care of my daddy the last three years of his life. My life was built around him as he declined in health. The grief and anxiety and depression after he passed was overwhelming and neverending...or so it seemed. It's been a challenge to navigate who I am and what I'm supposed to be and do in my life moving forward. This song was playing on the radio as I backed out of the garage in my daddy's pickup this morning. Then I played it four more times on the way to school and had heart and soul love and grief clearing time with my daddy. There is healing for hearts and lives in this song! A song released almost 50years ago continuing its journey and being here for me this day. I bless all who listen and are touched for any and every reason. Much love❤❤❤❤❤
Its April 1st my mom passed exactly 2 hours ago and I played this song outside her home as they took her away. Thank you Stevie for this beautiful song, she lived a wonderful 89 years.
I listened to this as a child. Then a teenager. Young mother. Single mother. Mother to Grade schoolers, preteens, teenagers, and then in an empty nester. I just became a grandmother two weeks ago. This song has meant something different for each stage of my life. Time has made me older and the mirror is cracking. How did this happen? Even children get older…..
I hope being a grandmother brings you a peace, and joy, and love, that you could never have imagined either. Share your learnings with the youth. I’m sending you love, stranger.
@@liketheroman thank you! Being a Grammy is the best! I love watching my daughter being such a good mommy. I had to have done something right somewhere! My granddaughter is perfect.

I'm a 72 year old Grandma. My first Great Grandchild in March of 2025. Oh my.....what a Journey. I climbed a mountain and Turned Around. Sure found Love. No need to have to ask what it is. Our creator wants us to know. I was afraid of changing. But I'm getting older too and no longer afraid Just thankful. God Be with us all.
i’m sorry for your loss, i could never even imagine how painful that must be, i’m proud of you for being able to power through it even in the slightest, i would never be able to be functional with a loss like that ever
Hang in there best you can. Give yourself grace. So very hard to live thru such grief. When I finally accepted that my mom's death was just gonna be HARD period, somehow I was halfway there.. and relief was on the horizon.. 💙💚💛
This song came on in a restaurant the day before I was taking my daughter for her first year of college 1200 miles away from home. When the lyrics "I've been afraid of changing, because I built my life around you" played, I never ever ugly cried so much in public!!!
I so relate to your experience Theresa. It is a blessing in a way to miss our children in that there is such love for them and hopefully a good relationship with them. May you always let her know what she means to you. I went away to college too. I never knew I was missed - I can only surmise I was.
"This is for you, daddy". For my kids. To let them know that our time here is brief.Make it worthwhile whike we are still around. Enjoy and love. 67 and still going strong. Thanks Lord.
I lost my 2 year old daughter in 1997 after a long 20-day battle with the flu virus. This song saved my life it made me realize my 5 year old needed me to keep it together. That baby girl is grown now. She is absolutely amazing. She's married and gave me 3 more reasons to live every day to share this song with all of my grandbabies one day❤
Reminds me of the most talented young nice woman and lost her dad in a natural disaster...she was arguably most talented and brightest young stars of America talent....larissa
"Well, I've been afraid of changing, 'cause I built my life around you, But time makes you bolder, Children get older, And I'm getting older too." Stevie Nicks was only 25 when she wrote this song. Her level of maturity and insight at that young age is amazing. I'm nearly 60 and it seems that every time I think I fully understand this song, another decade of living passes and then I realize something new, I see another layer or nuance within the lyrics. What a great song
I ve noticed a lot of those in the 27 club had that insight. Thank God Stevie is still with us. I listen every night at bedtime. I'm a songwriter. I'm truly inspired by her lyrics and melody. And voice.
Hi I made a cover of this song if you want to see it :) and if you like it please subscribe to my channel it would mean so much to me :) ua-cam.com/video/30NWt2uhVaA/v-deo.html
The greatest voice in music, and one of the great guitarists (seriously underrated, IMO) together produce a performance that is perfect. Totally utterly incredible.
This was one of my son's favourite songs even though it came out when I was young. His father and I took him to see Fleetwood Mac in Perth Australia and he loved it. He suffered from severe depression and we lost him in August 21. We played this at his funeral and it reminds me of his dad half carrying him out of the concert as he'd suffered nerve damage in one of his attempts to end his life. We fought valiantly to keep him in this world but it caught us by surprise when he was in a great place. He died in his sleep. I think he was too pure and good for this world. My heart is broken. This song was played at his funeral and it was the hardest time. I miss him every day.
My mum died last year and I'm really struggling. I'm 36 and it's just me, I spent so much time looking after her. Lost dad at 27 too. This song speaks to me, it perfectly articulates what I can't find the courage to tell anyone else.
Does anyone else cry listening to this ? I'm a 54 year old fella with a soft heart and it tears me to pieces to listen to this, yet I still listen to it over and over 💔
Im a 58 year old husband, father and grandfather. I sold my guitar 30 years ago when I became bored with my mediocrity as a player. My youngest daughter's wedding is on the horizon. I bought a new guitar a few weeks ago and have been practising this song many hours a week. I WILL perform this song for my daughter on her wedding day. Absolutely.
My son is on Life support because of a skateboarding accident. This is his favorite song! I've played it at his bedside and he opened his eyes for a minute. Stevie Has healed, touched many lives. She is an Angel
I recently almost lost my life skateboarding I used to be really good and now that I’m older I found my self getting board so I got back into it and I got to ahead of my self waiting surgery for months now this song has been one of my favourites ever since I heard it i in that Jack Frost movie I hope your son gets back on his feet life’s very special thing
This is the only song my mom learned how to play on the guitar and she would sing it to me when I was a kid and I can’t listen to it without crying, it means so much to me.
I knew the comment section would accurately reflect this masterpiece of a song, and immaculate performance. It's such a spellbinding and thought provoking track that hits so many buttons to so many of us out there..Which is so extremely rare..
nobody is probably gonan read this but this was my grandma’s favorite song. she got diagnosed with lung cancer a couple months ago and only had a couple of weeks left . every day me my dad and siblings would sing this song and the last couple of days had hurt the most singing. she was the most beautiful person I ever met.. I miss her so much and listening to this song brings me into tears everytime. EDIT I just want to say thank you for the likes and comments it means so much to me :)
I know you're hurting,, I can feel your pain. But what a beautiful song she'll be singing in heaven. Hugs and love for you, and my condolences to your family for losing such a beautiful soul. EXO
ok,but landslide took my wife from me till the end of time, she said, grass is greener, she hearing that song cheated on me,thinking, geener grasses out there, she is dead now, overdose with the guy she left me for
@@shawnharmon337 I agree with you , no background machines to make her voice sound angelic, just pure talent and you just have to love that raspy harmony all in one voice. Dixie chicks did a awesome version also, three voices uniting as one ..... If people could only listen with their minds and not their mouths....👍 👍 🇨🇦
My daughter just sent me this. And, the "This is for you Daddy" just made me start balling. I'm a grown man, but my daughter calling me Daddy like she did when she was three just makes me melt. I love her so much.
I've never had any kids and probably never will, but I would more than likely react the exact same way you did if I were in your shoes. It must be scary sometimes to love a person that much cuz you'd be worried about them all the time.
Edit:. I want to thank you all for the kind words and prayers. That means so much to me. I lost my Mom and Dad 9 months apart in 2014. Your words have brought me peace and comfort. I cannot thank you enough. My Mom and Dad loved Fleetwood Mac. When my Mom was dying, I put my phone next to her ear and played this song. When the song ended, she had passed away. It's hard for me to listen to this song, and not ball my eyes out. I hope it gave her peace and allowed her to pass easily.
It most certainly did 🦋 it’s a song of her life expanding into the unknown …. But was it? We get tiny glimpses of the beauty of The Divine who lives in each one of us and how His love reflects through the lives we live. Your mom knew what was waiting on the other side of her breathe ❤️⭐️❤️
I cried listening to this song today. Remembering my Dad. He passed 4 years this December. You gave your mom comfort in her last moments. She wasn’t alone. My Dad as well. They’re proud and we can remember always.
Hearing is the last sense to go, you did a beautiful thing. For my Mom it was John Denver's Country Roads. That last breath was peace. Has to to happen to all, thank goodness for music.
I lost my mother in October. This played at her service. She adored it and sang it at her karaoke night every week. This song absolutely destroys me now. Love you, Mom. Rest in peace, Christine.
I lost my mom in October too.. I do think of my mom driving around in her Cadillac and this was one of the songs playing in the car. My our mom's rest in peace.
12 years after divorce brought me to my knees, this song makes sense. I was so afraid of change. 12 years later, I'm still changing, becoming the best version of myself. But yep, this song makes me cry like a baby every time.
This song makes me think about raising my children. And how hard it was to realize they grew up. At some point you have to let go, and allow yourself to change. "I've been afraid of changing because I've built my life around you."
I love this song. This is my sister's song. She just lost her beautiful husband three months ago. Her love of forty two yrs, and love of her life. Her daughter told me to listen. Fleetwood Mac u are a great band so so talented.
Danke, deine Stimme begleitet mich mein ganzes Leben lang und ich fühle wie sie in meine Seele sich ausbreitet und mir das gibt, wozu ich die Kraft hole, an das gute im Menschen zu glauben, danke Stevie ❤
@@Mick_Fleetwood Nicole, I hope I am able to leave such a tasteful heirloom with my friends and family. Leave him the whole discography! At 31 I hope I'm younger than your son but regardless I have no doubt that Mr Fleetwood, John & Christine, Stevie, and Lindsey have given us some timeless music he'll appreciate fondly in your memory.
I'm 17 and my dad passed away a few weeks ago and my mom is away trying to get mental help. This song makes me realize how everything is changing so fast. I have to grow up and it's nothing like I thought it would be.
It took me a long to deal with my brother passing. I'm not saying it gets easier, but you find way to cope. I eventually told myself I needed help. I started talking to my friends and family about how I was feeling and how hurt I was. It can be hard to let those feelings out. It's ok to feel bad, it's ok to be angry. It's because you care. There's nothing anyone can say or do to take away your pain. If you need to cry then do it. Holding in the pain makes it worse. I know. I did that for years. Be there for your mom, this is when she needs you the most. It's ok to still be a kid, don't give up hope :)
+Joe Sauer hi thank you so much for taking the time to comment back to me!! it's weird because I feel like I'm feeling better everyday but I also may just be holding it in and idk. But thank you so much again and I'm so sorry about your dad.
This song was just sent to me from my son who is 28 he just lost his dad and I just lost my husband and the song really makes you think that you cannot change getting older it's inevitable and one minute you will get your kids and they're little and they're going to school and now I have my younger one who's 18 he's graduating and he's off with the scholarship for football to a university that he made choose and sad as it is my husband will not be here to see this most exciting moments other than the day they were born the song not only really wakes you up makes you really think that you know I'm 54 years old also I lost a lot of good friends in the past couple years and my 28 year old son who had sent me this song I think he actually is hitting him that while my mom's getting old as well it's a beautiful song and I'm glad so glad that my son reached out he really has a great music appeal he's been brought up on music with Stevie nicks this was a plus love you Stevie love you to my son Peter Ward Jr I love you so much baby XO
Growing up this song didn’t hit the heart like it does when you’re older and experienced what life throws at you. Enjoy every moment, life is too short.
My dad passed away a few months ago and tonight I am having a hard time with it. Everyday since August 24th I have cried but tonight is the worst. I can keep it together around people but when it’s night time I can’t. I’m so sorry for your loss.
My long time gf was diagnosed with dementia and doesn't want me around and my beautiful step daughter who I loved more than anything doesn't want me either. Thank God for music
Yes unfortunately you are SO correct about the “lyrics and a vibe that will never exist again.” I’m tired of people telling me; “Ah every generation thinks it’s better than the last one!”We are so WAY past that point! With the advent of social media, censorship, Left versus Right, Pandemic, Amazon, home delivery etc etc etc. We've convinced, in our very being, that technology & science is the only way forward for our societies. Albert Einstein’s & Robert Oppenheimer’s priorities were to SAVE the human race from a Madman! “Albert Einstein got out of Germany while the gettin’ out was good!” The Nazis were Alberts Einstein’s rationale reason for writing that letter to President Roosevelt. Alerting him of the potential of Germany’s Nuclear weapons programs. (Who wouldn’t) With Einstein's suggestion and Oppenheimer’s moral obligation & genius. He created the Atomic bomb before the Nazi Dictatorship over German Scientists; such as that genius Werner Heisenberg. Oppenheimer was the director of the Nuclear project of creating an Atomic weapon was if and only if! God forbid Hitler & his f…ing thousand-year Reich! Beat the British Empire and the Soviet Union! Lol God, lol yeah right, ok 👌 No one believes in God anymore! (Even if they do? It’s WAY too uncool to admit it)?!?! The truth is: We are getting more & more unwilling to believe that FATE does not exist (it does) We’ve put all our eggs in the baskets 🧺 of technology & science! Generational music taste has absolutely nothing to do with it. We’ve become so selfish and full of malice that our founding fathers along with our greatest generation & our allies at that time. Wouldn’t even recognize their very own people & Country they created, saved and laid down their lives for, Pathetic!
Stevie nicks got my through a really difficult time in my life. I was only 20 going through radiation every day and every day I’d put Stevie nicks on during my treatments to help feel better and just get through another treatment each day. Here I am now a year later with my tumor growth stopped and still listening to Stevie through the hard times. I thank her everyday for making music to feed to my soul and getting me through one of the worst parts of my life❤️
@@FranciscoClemente12 ??? I think the original poster said it was Christine that died , the band Fleetwood Mac is playing and singing this song....... Thank you Fleetwood mac for the wonderful memories and songs ... RIP Christine thank you for those wonderful songs you wrote and sang... voice of a song bird
Never understood this song until I got older myself. Now I can’t listen to it let alone sing it without a stream of tears. It makes way too much sense to my soul now! She was wise beyond her years even then.
Kayla Dyson: Yes, this song and Alysson Kraus: When you say nothing at all. I was in a couple different bands when I was young as lead singer and rhythm guitarist and there are only a few songs that do this to me, and this is the number one song! I ADORE this lady and her awesome voice!
I personally think this is the best performance of this song. Not only are they both phenomenal here. But I think what sets this performance a part is that she's so much older now; a lot of living and a lot of learning. can definitely feel the emotion in her voice.
I remember clear as day sitting on a porch swing with my paternal grandmother holding me tight while the both of us were just quietly listening to this song and watching the clouds. Sadly cancer took her from us in 2007 when I was only 5 years old, but I’m glad I still have that memory of her, and listening to this song brings me back to that day and fills me with a warm feeling inside. ❤
Just saw her last night to a sold out show in Albany, NY with my wife.. Amazing show.. She did landslide in memory of Chrisine, put up 20 pics of her and Christine on the jumbo-tron. You could tell she will probably never close this hole in her heart.. Amazing voice and person..
Sometimes, the world creates a song that will never be forgotten. It will always be just as powerful as the first time you've heard it and the thousandth time you've heard it. This is one of those songs.
I think Lindsey is the most underrated guitar player in the history of music. No matter if their relationship did not endure, their music did. They made history with their music and it will live on forever. I love it today as I did when it first came out. It’s with me forever.
Underrated. Not a chance. He was intregal to the biggest rock band the world has seen. With Rumours being the largest rock album for decades. And then who does Don Everly choose to replace Phil, that’s right Lindsey. No one who knows music underrates Lindsey.

The depth of this song, written with such simple lyrics, is breathtaking. I found this song incredible when written, one of best I ever heard, and even more powerful now.
I don't want to be lonely and I don't have a lot of support in my days. I could use support. I want to feel special. I want to be loved. I want to be happy and have more freedom in life.
Anna Palacio sending lots of love your way! ♡ i think all of us feel lonely deep down in our hearts. But from my experience the only one who can make that go away is Jesus. He is so good and so loving and kind and takes such good care of me. Since the day i opened my heart to him i was never alone. He is always close and if you open your heart to him he'll do the same to you. And you'll never be alone anymore. And even if something makes you sad you'll always have someone you can run to because he'll always be there for you. I hope you find Love!! Xx
I can empathize with you I don't want to be like that too all my children are grown up just me but I look at it like if love finds me than it does if it don't than it don't ❣️🙏
“This is for you daddy” brings me to tears every time. I love my dad more than anything. He is always working, and I only see him at night usually; it’s been that way my whole life. I hear in his voice how he’s getting older. I would do anything for my dad. I hope he has many years ahead of him. I fear the day I will no longer see him at night. I love you, dad.
@Gene Cox thank you so much for your kind words. I am so sorry for the loss of your father; I know he is looking over you now and knows how much you love him. I am sure he always knew. I wish I told my dad how much I love him more often during my younger years, but I know that it isn’t too late. He is my hero as well. He saved my life in more ways than I can express to him. Loved what Stevie said in dedication to her best friend, Christie. She's a class act; she really is. Reminded of all the duets she did with other songwriters/singers; her input has been astounding too!!! This has got to be my favorite song of hers. Thanks Stevie!
I just ended a 41 yrs marriage and I play this song everyday to give me courage to keep moving forward with my life as a single woman at age 61. We had been together since I was 18 and I worked so hard on our relationship and just couldn't do it anymore.
(( Hugs )) You are brave. I am glad in Stevie songs we all can find words to comfort us or give us strength to carry on. I hope she knows how special her music is to all of us who adore her . Wishing you all the best things in life ...... you deserve them.
Thinking of you. Don’t doubt your inner strength. There’s still life to be lived. Use the memories that serve you and in time, you’ll release those that don’t.
so many people spend their lives in a relationship they arent happy in. you have sooo soo so much strength and courage just to take that leap of faith. every day is a chance to have a good day. every tomorrow is a chance to try again. there will be bad days, and there will be even worse days, but i hope you are able to strive forward and find the happy days youre looking for, sherry 🌅
There hasn't been a time in my life where I listened to this song without tearing up. I broke down hearing this at 9, but wow... it hurts twice as badly as a young adult.
My wife passed away this month. She died a suicide case. A lost soul forever searching for a home. When I hear the verse can I handle the seasons of my life I cry every time. I don’t know I really and truly do not know, but I hope I can. For my boys I know I can.
If you are down to nothing, God is up to something. Give all your pain to him, seek the lord with all your heart and he will give you the desires of your heart. It may not happen over night but if you stay in prayer, take your kids to church, I promise joy will come. In ways your mind can’t imagine and always stay in prayer over your wife because God is a merciful God and you will see her again because of what Jesus did on the cross. All of our sins are forgiven and he loves you more than you could ever love anyone. Stay strong for your kids and keep your head up and remember you are a child of the most high God.

I crumble when I hear this song and have for the last 20 years. My life changed forever when my husband died three-weeks after a terminal cancer diagnosis. I played this song at his funeral. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Its amazing to read the comments about how this song is played at both weddings and funerals... inspiring some, and reminding others of dreaded past abusive relationships... its a coming of age story for some, and and end of life story for others.. Not many songs have such a diverse interpretation I don't think, and I have personally seen the song from many of these different angles over my life, but I've never really found it to be a 'happy' song worthy of any type of wedding song or 'celebration of life' (aka funeral)...but maybe that's because I struggle with "change", idk, but I find the diversity of interpretation very interesting.
Well said. My ex-wife & I separated & eventually divorced in early 2020. She just recently moved to another part of the country 1K miles away with our 2 sons. I helped them move. During the drive, this song came on & she put the volume up & said she really likes this song. I took it as her telling me how she felt past several years. The lyrics were her words all the way down to "kids getting older". Now everytime I hear this song I think about her, our kids & failed marriage. Hope she finds happiness.
My daughter chose it for her Father and Daughter dance at her wedding last Fall. I get teary eyed everytime I hear it 💕. Plus my husband's and my first date in 1982 was to a Fleetwood Mac Concert!
I have lost both of my parents (I’m almost 70 so that’s not unexpected), I just want to say don’t miss your chance to really connect if it’s something you can do. I realize there are some people you shouldn’t reconnect with, but if you’re able to, do it.
I was lucky enough to be in high school when Fleetwood Mac released Rumours. I bought the album, and played it until I had memorized it. Fleetwood Mac was an awesome band then and now.
I was 14 years old and parents bought it for me while I was payed up at home with chicken pox. I listen to the record every damn day and I also memorize the lyrics! They were awesome back then I will forever be in my heart
I'm listening in November 2024 ! Loved Stevie and Fleetwood Mac since I was a teen. And I will still be listening until I leave this world . What a beautifully honest , talented , and brilliant person !
That little natural quiver in her voice is what makes Stevie so recognizable and wonderful. It gives her vocals on Landslide a level of vulnerability that I will never grow tired of hearing although I have heard the song 100's of times. I have listened to her for 50 years and never considered her a great singer but she possesses such an unusual quality of gentleness combined with beauty and style that sets her far above most. She is one of a kind and this old guy will always love and cherish her and her music. And this song still brings a tear to my eye.
60 year old grown ass man bawling like a baby here. Knowing what Stevie and Lindsey have been through, and what they still mean to each other, and to see them share that moment with the world. Fucking heartbreaking.
This is a song that moves me. I sing it to my grown children. I want them to play this song at my funeral for them and may it help them smile while deep inside they will be sad. Dying is going HOME. I'm not afraid at all! The one and only issue I live with ever time the thought of going HOME comes to my mind is that my children and grandson will experience a pain that I will not be able to comfort or make better. I know the destructive pain the hurt of my daddy leaving me left on my life. I was 19 and at 65 the pain is still very real and raw. So I'm the magnitude of love my Sam and Angelina and grandson Logan constantly express towards me, they will experience this hurt that I would give anything to shelter them from. Be sure you tell your loved ones just how vital they are in your life! Tomorrow is not promised.
Im 17 right now, my dad passed away 2 months ago. He promised me we will celebrate my 18th birthday like we never did. I miss him so much, its like i dont know what to do with my life anymore. I will make you proud one day dad ❤️ Wait for me! 🙌
Oddly she wrote this song about him. They were fighting and she didn't know if she would continue with the band or do something new with the rest of her life.
I’ve loved this song for years! At the age of 65, it has finally made complete sense and I’m Balling in my tissues for how raw and real these lyrics are!!!
Deepest condolences
I'm sure you have a beautiful voice, so keep singing to Damon because he's listening and watching over you and your children. Blessings.
God bless you
Will sing with you, if you want....or just listen

Stevie Nicks has one of the most haunting voices. She gives me chills. It takes a special talent and a pure gift to sound like her.
Wise decision to let her join the band.

I'm sitting here crying cause my wife of 45 years just passed 2 months ago and this was one of our favorites. Love you to the moon 🌙 ♥ honey
uugghh! That sucks and that's sad!!! Hoping there is a heaven for your wife and you!!
Sorry for your loss. It's a beautiful song and having this to remember some part of her, although terribly sad, is also beautiful. The pain comes in waves, I hope it gets easier sooner or later. Stay strong.
Hugs my friend. You'll be reunited someday and never to be separated again.
Idk if I'm just a cynic but that kind of long true love is hard to find in these modern days. I'm a bit envious, God bless you brother.
May her memory be for blessing.
Still have mine 85 hope all is well yours n you. Michael.

Sounds like a difficult story but some of the hardest stories are also the best stories, hope it continues to bring you happiness x
I hope being a grandmother brings you a peace, and joy, and love, that you could never have imagined either. Share your learnings with the youth. I’m sending you love, stranger.

"Well, I've been afraid of changing, 'cause I built my life around you, But time makes you bolder, Children get older, And I'm getting older too."
Stevie Nicks was only 25 when she wrote this song. Her level of maturity and insight at that young age is amazing. I'm nearly 60 and it seems that every time I think I fully understand this song, another decade of living passes and then I realize something new, I see another layer or nuance within the lyrics. What a great song
Well said, and I completely understand what you are saying. I’m 52 and learn each day.
I ve noticed a lot of those in the 27 club had that insight. Thank God Stevie is still with us. I listen every night at bedtime. I'm a songwriter. I'm truly inspired by her lyrics and melody. And voice.

This is a song to relate to for sure.
You're surprised that 25 year olds can have emotions?
Yes, Stevie is amazing - but equally, the guitar playing by Lindsey is also just exceptional!
The greatest voice in music, and one of the great guitarists (seriously underrated, IMO) together produce a performance that is perfect. Totally utterly incredible.
If only they had forgotten their egos. Together forever, they could’ve been the greatest duo to ever exist.
Lindsey is one of the best acustic players.
Both are Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas to all of you! 😢
Bless you Lynda and your family always 🙏🏽

I've never had any kids and probably never will, but I would more than likely react the exact same way you did if I were in your shoes. It must be scary sometimes to love a person that much cuz you'd be worried about them all the time.
My daughter just sent me this in an email, saying how much she misses me.
In my opinion, this is the best version of Landslide that has been released. Just a guitar and Stevie's incredible vocals. Absolute perfection.
She can't even sing. She sounded horrible. Very overrated singer.
They’re proud and we can remember always.

took me a long to deal with my brother passing. I'm not saying it gets
easier, but you find way to cope. I eventually told myself I needed
help. I started talking to my friends and family about how I was feeling
and how hurt I was. It can be hard to let those feelings out. It's ok
to feel bad, it's ok to be angry. It's because you care. There's nothing

@@tuff47 Me too.
One of those songs that you feel in your soul.
Great Comment, You are a True Fan of The Goddess !
Kayla Dyson worded perfectly
Never understood this song until I got older myself. Now I can’t listen to it let alone sing it without a stream of tears. It makes way too much sense to my soul now! She was wise beyond her years even then.
Kayla Dyson: Yes, this song and Alysson Kraus: When you say nothing at all. I was in a couple different bands when I was young as lead singer and rhythm guitarist and there are only a few songs that do this to me, and this is the number one song! I ADORE this lady and her awesome voice!
Yep
Beautifully worded.
Luv this song stevie nicks is the best
Very well said.
Yes there has been some thru the years. Music is a special gift and often speaks and delivers the message when mere words cannot.
I think Lindsey is the most underrated guitar player in the history of music. No matter if their relationship did not endure, their music did. They made history with their music and it will live on forever. I love it today as I did when it first came out. It’s with me forever.
Dear Sister where are you from?

That's the best part of the song.. over time the emotions don't fade out.. they only grow stronger. ❤️
Xx
I wish you the best. Life is tough. I'm there but the journey goes on! Best of luck!
I want those things for you too. I love you from Utah ❤️
I can empathize with you I don't want to be like that too all my children are grown up just me but I look at it like if love finds me than it does if it don't than it don't ❣️🙏
Sending love to you Anna.
My dad is a wonderful man, he has come a long way in life. Your dad sounded like a wonderful man as well. We are both very lucky. Thank you for lifting my spirits, my friend. How she sings this song without crying is beyond me. Trust me, I’ve tried it over and over.
I just ended a 41 yrs marriage and I play this song everyday to give me courage to keep moving forward with my life as a single woman at age 61. We had been together since I was 18 and I worked so hard on our relationship and just couldn't do it anymore.

Stay strong for your boys

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's soooo tough. Sending you love and light
My daughters picked this song out for my wife's funeral, she was hit by a car while running at the age of 48. I cry everytime I hear it

I'm sorry. This is a definitely a beautiful song to remember her by!
Simply the best ever ❤

60 year old grown ass man bawling like a baby here. Knowing what Stevie and Lindsey have been through, and what they still mean to each other, and to see them share that moment with the world. Fucking heartbreaking.
Hello there , how are you doing today? God bless you
This is a song that moves me.
You are loved
