That condition feels like it's perfect to have as a 3DS to just grab and play with rather than display, since it's pre-loved and working. Not afraid to damage it, and it looks beautiful.

@@aishacs It's really easy. Just checkout the explanation on the website. As for the package arrival it depends on the delivery method. Fedex takes 5 days, japan small packet air mail about 2 weeks and japan surface mail about 60 days. I tried them all :).
For sure I’d have bought it. I just got the regular blue and black Nintendo 3DS XL. I reinforced the hinge so it no longer wobbles back and forth and the clicks are quiet but stiff. The hinge feels a lot nicer after this modification.
I do like that colour, but it's a shame about the condition. Cue Elliot going on a two-year hunt to find the cleaning pouch in matching black & turquoise...

I'm sure I'm not the first to notice, but that exact color way was used later for the new 2DS XL. So it's interesting that they kept the original in Japan.
It's a nice color but I don't know that I'd have picked it over other options. I find it's really hard to go back to older handhelds every since I've gotten used to first, the much larger screen of the original Switch, and then the much nicer picture quality of the OLED. Just going back to the 3DS and Game Boy hardware for more than nostalgia just doesn't appeal anymore.
Still looking for one of these myself, just the console though. I love the N2DS XL that has the black and cyan color scheme, so only natural that I want this one too. :)
Maybe the SD card has not being formatted and you could still find photos in there, it is also possible that the user bought stuff in the Eshop and never linked in to an Nintendo user account, you could redownload stuff the original user bought in the Eshop. Also I would have preferred to see turquoise combined with white rather than black, it looks nice but it could have looked even better in my opinion.

That one is very similar to the 2DSxl except the texture on the top being different.
I got one from Sendico for about 10.000yen complete in box. But it had a broken top screen. Bought a new screen and fixed it. It's a beautiful color.

As a turquoise and black 2DS XL owner, I likely would have picked that combination back then too.
I'm not a fan of the turquoise blue but oh is the black beautiful on the inside with the blue buttons.

Scratches are totally fixable using display polish (displex or similar) and... You can make a pouch!
