- What is up quattro peoples, I am excited to bring you all a new budget build series with a friends car. These cars have awesome potential of course! With a relatively modest price to do a simple AAN engine build, we can easily put down well over 500whp on E85 safely. This build will be almost Identical to the build on my current car, so we already know she's gonna be a ripper.
I will be putting the longer clips of this build into episode format, but I will still post smaller vids in-between those most likely. I will have the car for some time so I will definitely have time to document this journey with the car. Once the engine is ready for reassembly, I will be making a video of all the parts needed for this engine build and exact prices of all the parts. For now in this video I get the car running with a home made down pipe and screamer pipe so I can go make some videos. Sounds awesome!

Solid car dude, from what I can tell the Maxxecu is badass! It is more expensive but it is also newer and has more functionality. Not a bad purchase at all friend, speed density + E85 for the win!
@@quattro4life20vt for sure! I was looking into them they are are around 1500 which isn't terrible considering what you open up with the engine in general. Just replacing and old tired ecu is a huge advantage in these cars not to mention two step and antilag ect that you get when you go stand alone

You are definitely inspiring me to finish mine. My Pearl URS6 has been parked for years. As soon as I finish my 1.5JZ that I'm building for my SC300, I'm going to do the scat rod and head stud build. Thank you for this content. There are no other URS builds worth watching and you actually know what you are doing. 👍
I've been using those maxpeedingrods for 2 years at 635hp/807nm. works fine

Only down side i have found with running TFSI coil packs is in the winter. If the engine bay gets filled with snow, you will drown the plugs when the engine heats up. :)

Absolutely love your work mate. You've been such a huge help for me getting into these cars. I picked up a URS6 avant earlier this year and a lot of your build has both inspired and taught me about things. I'm currently repainting the engine bay and engine and installing soon

Have you tried a G30-770 on any of your recent S car builds?
I would love to try any of new g-series as I am very intrigued with the numbers myself. However, they are far out of my price range for the time being. I will post a new video soon that will include the turbo I chose for this build. Thanks for watching friend!

Great work, love the builds! I have had a bunch of these cars and selling my avant now but I’ll be back again later on with another someday. Probably owned 7 or so by now. Keep up the channel, it’s great to watch and learn more. Rods and a healthy motor go along way with the AAN when cranking up da boost. I would wager it is bad tuning that kills most of them not hardware or rod bearings. Anyhooo love the videos and Content!

U should use 3m foaming engine cleaner. Best thing in the world for cleaning

That is the plan, I didn't want to make a final parts list when I don't have all the parts yet as some things may change. I will be going over every detail/install of this build, also I plan to do a VEMS install, setup and basic street tuning video as well. Thanks for watching!

@@rostyslavshkromiuk215 have you had speed density on your ecu? Or has it always been chipped? I know you have vems now. How much torque did you have on your earlier build? I would like to build up to 500hp crank. I have urs6 300hp now. Stock turbo, chipped ecu 24psi 2.0 coils conversation silicone hoses and stage 2 south bend clutch, 2.5 downpipe straight back. Car runs great but I am used to it and now I need more.. lol😂

I have a urs4, when even i turn off the car the radio stays on....any idea what it could be....also i hear like a humming sound coming from my back seat. Is that the fuel pump?
Factory radio? From the factory you can turn the radio on with the car off and no key. Are you sure the radio is switched off? The radio is supplied with constant power so if you don't turn the volume knob all the way to the left until it clicks off it will always be on.
The fuel pump can be accessed through the trunk. Remove the carpet in the trunk directly behind the upper section of the rear seat to gain access to the fuel sending unit. If the noise is coming from there that is definitely the sound of the pump running. The bosch 044 pumps are a normal upgrade but are super loud!

@@slobodantodoric6567 yes, I run Walbro 450 and they are awesome, very quiet for how much they can flow. If you go back and watch part 2 of the UrS6 turbo upgrade that I did, you will see a full walbro 450 install in the second half. I will be making a Walbro fuel pump install how-to when I upgrade the pump in this project. Thanks for watching!

I'm looking at a 1993 audi s4, that a guy is selling here.....it has around 226hp, is that the AAN engine? I'm guessing it is, but i'm a new to this so i don't really know
Yes AAN engine for sure, solid unit. You should by this car especially if in good condition!
@@quattro4life20vt it has around 200 kilometers on it and has been modified to around 255hp, but the car has been sitting from 2008, that's why it costs only 3k euros. I talked to my parents and they won't let me buy it for some reason, but i'm still interested in your opinion if this car is worth the 3k.
