- This video will show you how to change the oil in your Lincoln MKC with the 2.0L Ecoboost. It should be the same procedure for a Ford Escape with the 2.0L and it should also be similar for the 1.6L and 2.3L.

I’m a 35 y/o woman, using your video, I was able to change the oil and filter. Also had to buy special socket for a bald oil plug. I also went ahead and did a tire rotation… all by myself 👍🏻
This is someone who does a great job. This is the type of mechanic that I would love to have near me.
- T30 torx
- 15 mm socket
- 20ft/lb drain plug torque
- 5.7 quarts 5W/30 fully synthetic
-1348 napa gold filter
Thanks simple and clear instructions. Great video quality too.
Great job and thank you!
Thanks for the info!
Full synthetic 5w30 change every 5-6k miles and your engine should last a very long time 🤙🏽❤️
Great vid - thank you!
Very nice, thanks.
Thanks for this video
Thank you so much sir!😁
Well done thanks
on these 2.0 Turbos Shorter oil change intervals is a Must.
Plus use a high quality synthetic oil Amsoil Signature Seriesor Mobil 1 Extended Performance High Mileage.
Got one for this vehicle on a spark plug change
Those under body covers are a pain but needed for better aerodynamics.
Very good video I want advice I'm considering buying a Lincoln mkc 2015 . What things can go wrong? Is it reliable?
For an 8+ years old car, it might need expensive maintenance: the turbocharger is likely flapping too much and leaking oil ($3-4K job), if the transmission oil was not changed every 30k miles, it's likely too late and have some damage. The electronic struts will need original replacement which more expensive than regular and rarely used the custom settings. Rattling noises from doors and other plastic parts. - The engine gets so dirty compared with other brands. That 2016 model in the video looks very clean, unless it is a place where rarely rains?
Can you make a video on how to do the spark plugs on a 2016 mkc? 😊😊
I’m waiting on this
08 Lincon cuantos litros de aseite se le echan
Is it the same for the 2.3 ecoboost
It should be. The filter and drain plug might be in slightly different locations.
Well, I guess I am off to the store for a T-30 bit.
Turned out I had one. Be careful not to strip these. This has just crossed over from the free dealer oil changes and two of the T-30's were stripped. Also two of them that attach to the fender plastics were 1/4" vs T-30. This video was very helpful. I noticed that the Fram filter from my parts house had 5 flutes while the one I took off had 14. Luckily I have both filter sockets. I jacked it up and rested it on jack stands without going so high that the tires left the ground and was able to do the job. Will I do it again vs watching for a deal? Hard to tell. Took me less than an hour.
@@charlesbyers6911 Bet you remembered to put in the drain plug. A lot of oil change places for get to do that. Even at dealerships. Had that happen to a neighbor of mine. Ruined her engine.
I used lineman plyers...lol....no need for a.bit ...just a steady hand
Wow, a metal oil pan! I hope Lincoln doesn't start using plastic ones like Ford.
Does the undertray have 8 or 9 bolts? Says one does another. Make up your mind.
Dude, you need a hobby.
