Little tip regarding switches that are difficult to push in the right direction: use the scroll wheel. Really handy for the starter and the lights. Instead of having to put your mouse in the miniscule spot to move the switch in the desired direction, you can just pop it anywhere over the switch and scroll up or down as needed. Works with just about everything in the sim, including fiddly keys and fuel selectors.
One more tip I found for setting dials such as heading, autopilot height, etc - I used to sit there mouse scroll wheeling forever, then I realised you can mouse left click hold on the dial and move the mouse left or right to fast move the dials.

It's a while since I flew them but my first reaction was that I was a little disappointed in the module (I think my expectations were too high, I've not given too much time to optimising my MSFS setup, and I've only tried a couple of flights in it). I wish there was a way to turn off the nose wheel steering - I understand you can on some of the other versions by JustFlight, but not this MSFS one. I'll give it a bit more time and do some flying around the stall/spin, and I do need to refine my setup anyway. It certainly looks and sounds great and I'm probably being a little harsh on it (as I say. my expectations were probably a little too high). How many hours Hawk did you fly?

More just curious if the general feel and behaviour is about right... I've been enjoying this little jet a lot!
Having flown many aircraft in MSFS I can tell you that the Flight Dynamics feel unique and authentic. I would say that the pitch is a tad sensitive on take off and it's tricky to trim once level. But this can be true of the real sims that train crew for these aircraft! The modelling of the buffet is subtle but effective and she rolls and pitches like she should. They've done a fantastic job!
@@cgaviator of course, even the Level D sims aren’t perfect, and the lack of correct forces always makes control “feel” a bit different to reality. Thanks, appreciate it!
Not sure what I've done wrong but the Hawk was working fune but now on the ground the engine wont start up and the aircraft is shaking ? I've reinstalled and same problem.
Have you installed any freeware or other models recently? Sometimes there’s a conflict?
@@cgaviator No, has been working fine. If I change livery the shaking stops but I can't start the engine? Even ctrl E doesn't fire it up?
Problem solved. Was low fuel. Strange how it made the aircraft shake on ground though.

@@jayrermars8493 ah yes, low fuel would be an issue! 😆 Is strange though. The hawk hasn’t been updated much since recent sim updates so maybe that’s why it’s doing strange stuff.
Hello, did you any mod or addon for the camera moving inside cockpit ?
No, I use trackir
@@cgaviator ohh, yhank you ;)
Hi awesome tutorial, but i cant streer. pls help
Strange. You can’t steer the Hawk? Shouldn’t be an issue unless you’ve accidentally inbound your rudder/steering axis
@@cgaviator No, i cant. also i unlocked the steering handle, and still cant
@@Jax0319 oh that’s right, you toggled the rudder pedal gust lock away in the right rudder pedal?
@@cgaviator Yes, but i will watch your video again.
Why does my battery just die after like 20-30 mine of flying?
Do you get multiple cautions and warnings and need to reset generators etc?
@cgaviator nope it's literally I'm flying then lose all battery power
@@rocket_1235 are all your caution warning off after start? Do you start with engines running? Are the generators definitely on? Are you using the most up to date hawk model?
@@cgaviator warnings r all off, Idk what u mean, I believe so, and yes
@@rocket_1235 maybe worth submitting a ticket with just flight
make F14A and B too please
That would need considerable research! I'll start looking for gaps in popular addons and fill a need when I find one. I'll keep the F14 in mind, I've heard good things but haven't tried it yet.
@@cgaviator thanks man
its not a problem if you don’t want to btw
@@ruggerorandisi7785 no worries, I’ll see what Christmas brings me! 😄
@@cgaviator great!!
Tried to watch your channel a few times sound way too low
Thanks for the feedback, improvements in progress. Tends to work better on headphones.
instrumentation looks so flat and 2 dimentional
I wouldn’t say flat, but they are slightly too reflective. My overall impression is that the cockpit is in the top 3 for MSFS right now but it’s only an opinion.
As easy as that? 😭 lol
Only took a year to get right! 😅
@@cgaviator
Lol 😂
your videos are so quiet :(
That one is, a very early version. The newer ones are better.
