    One tip if you find something that works, stick with it! UA-cam encourages product junkyism. Obviously for your channel, it will be good to see you try different things. I would like to see you try Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting butter. Also will you do a video on changes in your hair care routine as we move into winter?

      rewghob I have to agree. After almost 10 years of being natural. I love trying new brands but I don’t want to be a product hoarder.

    Your hair is so similar to mine, so I'm amazed at how evenly your hair grows! My measurements are like 10 inches on the crown, 8 on the sides, and 5 in the back near the nape 😂 . My dad called me Bride of Frankenstein as a toddler because of how my hair grew, and now that I've been natural two years, I have to agree with his assessment 😂

    Your growth is beautiful!!!! 😍 I started my natural hair journey in January of 2017 and it was the best decision I ever made! Can't wait to see more from you! 😍 I would suggest that as your hair gets longer... maybe to "Brist" it as a protective style... like starting at the scalp, braid for an inch and then twist the hair all the way down. It keeps the scalp portion neat without much tangles. ❤

    Joy-el, your hair is thriving and looks beautiful. I think stretching your hair to elongate it and make caring for your hair more manageable is a great idea. Just be careful if you use a blow drier to stretch it. Quick question: have you tried Naptural85’s Melanin line yet?

    Hey actually, your hair is longer then that...you will have to press it out or flat iron it out to get the true length. So, add about 4 more inches to it♥️ you had only measured the shrinkage. Don’t be afraid of heat...just use heat protection, and don’t have it up too high. Beautiful hair♥️🥰 Hair goals definitely😍💕

    • @leerock3640

      A whole 4 inches more? Lol maybe 2inches more man

    • @Godislove1010
      @Godislove1010 4 роки тому

      Renita Savory I’ve seen shrinkage hair turn out to be very long and more than two inches extra. ua-cam.com/video/PFcuOvrUFcA/v-deo.html

    • @leerock3640
      @leerock3640 4 роки тому +1

      @@Godislove1010 Yes hun. But her hair is already stretched from the twists... then she's pulling it taut while measuring. So ironing it out won't make such a significant difference. 4 more inches would mean that it's still 33% shrunken even after being stretched and pulled taut.

    • @Godislove1010
      @Godislove1010 4 роки тому

      Renita Savory, Did you watch this video, it will explain it more: ua-cam.com/video/PFcuOvrUFcA/v-deo.html

    • @leerock3640
      @leerock3640 4 роки тому +1

      @@Godislove1010 I started to watch it and I got the point.... hair shrinks. I've known this all along since I have 19 inches of hair that looks like 6 inches when it shrinks completely. But when I pull my hair to measure it, it doesn't just measure 12.5 inches (33% shrunken from 19in). It would measure 18.... all I'm saying is that Joyel is pulling her hair to measure it, so she's not measuring the shrunken length. The measurement after pressing won't be so much more than the measurement after pulling it.
