We have the same fro- your hair is just longer. I also have looser curls on the sides/back and tighter curls on top. Our hair is even the same color. I've finally accepted the fact that my hair is happier in an afro or afro puff. I'm almost 2 years natural, so it nice to see what my hair will look like in year 3.

Love a beautiful ‘fro! My hair is much less dense & finer, but it also loves the Cantu Curl Activator. I have so many high-end products, that I periodically go back to the Cantu, thinking I must have been mistaken... but nope! It gives me the perfect kinda frizzy coils that makes it look more dense, which I love, lol.
I’m thinking of switching, are you using anything else that you love right now?

I lovve your fro 🥰💕I use to rock my fro a lot . It’s a very simple and quick hairstyle that I loved rocking until it started making me hot lol and just the night time rountine itself because I have 4 type hair, my hair is very thick and full and shrinks a lot.
I’m in the spot now where I am always wearing protective styles bc I’m SO HOT 😂

@@a.froart1760 oh yeah the passion twist are nice and lightweight 🥰 i normally go to the twist but lol I was in a rush taking them down last year I accidentally clipped some of my hair off while untwisting the hair

What is your nighttime routine? It’s beautiful and I love that I now know how to get a full afro.
Night time is pretty simple for me, I just spray my hair with the oils and leave-in conditioner in the spray bottle and throw a bonnet on!

No I never experience any flakes with them together, but I am no longer using Cantu because I’m trying to switch to black owned brands. But still using As I Am!

Is it ok to use curling cream/curl defining cream instead of leave in conditioner?
What do you do when you go to sleep and wake up? I did the big chop a few months ago and I’ve never had like an Afro before but my hair is growing in an Afro and I’m like rlly self conscious about it bcs it takes FORVEVERR to do and I can only wear it for one day or else I’ll get rlly bad bed head :,(
It does become a lot of work but usually after my wash and go day one I just spray it at night with oil and water mixed in a spray bottle and sleep with a bonnet. Then when I wake up I’ll kind of completely wet my hair and just kind of shake out the water and it usually looks pretty good for day two I don’t have to put new product in!

I use a regular wet brush! Not the one that is pro flex
