Perfect! It is great seeing more younger folks getting into the trades - thats the backbone of this country Lets get to cutting!!
Yes! I am so happy to see some of the younger generation getting out there and busting their butts earning a honest day's wage.
They did an awesome job! You could call it the wood barn.
now got another building to work in. they have slips that go on the post so wont rot out. with love. SAVANNAH TN.
looks like we need some more saw mill donations. LOL looks great like always.
Yall do plenty!
Andrew 's happy place or Andrew 's dog house. Looks amazing. Really blends with the background.
Andrew's work house!
Excellent content! I have two buildings from Backwoods Buildings (on your recommendation) and agree 100% with your assessment on this company. Looking forward to more videos. Thank you.
Thank you for watching, glad to hear your experience was like mine.
I think that young man and his crew have put up a few of those. They seemed to have a really good system worked out! You are so going to enjoy that building and yep, you're right, always build a little bigger than what you think you need - less regrets that way.💜💜💜
They have for sure done this a few times.
Andrew approved! these guys must be good. Great job! You never regret buying quality.
Lol, I'm satisfied.
That building looks great, it should help you in the summer when it’s so blazing hot in the sun! I see a lot of wood processing in the future!
Yes it will!
Excellent, excellent, excellent! Got er done ya did!
Great looking build. I know your going to enjoy the shade! Excited to see it come along Andrew.
We should start breaking it in today, going to be so nice having a roof over our heads.
@@TKCL Cool, literally and figuratively! Lol.
The GoPro camera fish eye lens makes the posts look curved. The amount of stuff you do and get done is amazing
Excellent music selection for a very well built building.
Thank you for watching
Looks fantastic Andrew and you will definitely appreciate the shade that sun can really hard on a person trying to do wood in warm weather
Yes I will!
Hello Andrew and Tiffany 🤗 This new structure looks perfect for your future wood cutting, milling etc especially when you get the lights and fan installed. So glad you did not try to put up those poles and the roof yourself. You are smart to decide when you need to let a crew do it for speed and safety. You make smart decisions.👏👏
It's for sure not a one person job. No need in getting hurt to save some money.
Awesome! Good idea to pay to have it done so you can get back to splitting wood. Cant wait to see your solar install and getting the shed fully operational. You always have something cool going on.
Thank you, I stay busy.
kudos to the 22 yo & his crew. You don't see many people his age working like this. Impressive.
No you sure don't
I love pole barns!
Man that looks great! I'm hoping to get one the first of the yr. I will definitely be giving your guys a call ! Im between jax and lake city hopefully they service this area.
They absolutely deliver to that area. They are the best price I can find.
What a great addition to your property!
I think so too
That’s a nice building. Looking forward to the upcoming videos as you start the wood splitting and all.
Coming soon
That barn turned out awesome. It will be nice for your wood splitting production. 🤠
Nice. You could also set up the ability to shelter part of it from rainy weather too meaning wond driven rain.
Hi Andrew and Tiffany, your new build looks fantastic for future expansion. Love your ideas Andrew and your property looks fabulous. Your certainly going to be self contained or a good start at getting there. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Thank you Mr Gray we are working hard to get there. Thank you for all that you do!
I really appreciate you always giving kudos or throwing in a plug for this company or that company! I know they appreciate it too! I’m loving the new barn. #jealous #envious
If someone treats me well I like to help them out.
Building looks awesome, keep the videos coming. Can't wait for the next one.
Thank you for watching
Wow it looks awesome!!! Tfs :)
Great looking pole barn!
Thank you
I am so happy that you’ve got your building up. It looks great.
Thank you, I'm excited.
Beautiful Pole Barn
Backwoods Buildings & Truss built my pole barn earlier this year here in the FL Panhandle.
Awesome people to do business with. And the guys did an outstanding job.
Agreed, that's why I bought 3 barns from them.
kudos to you for shouting out the small business man!
I enjoy doing that, they have been a great company to work with.
The new building looks great! The header was a great idea.
Thanks, I really like that opening. It will give me a lot of options for setting up a mill and bringing logs in .
Looks great
When you start looking at sawmills I suggest that you look a woodmizer. They aren't cheap but they are the best. I have a LT76
Nice! That's for sure a quality model.
Wow, Andrew! I love it. Now this is the start of something big. There’s one family here that has all the sawmill business in the county. I am so happy for you. I am excited about watching you work up your wood.
Thank you for watching
This man is non stop. Amazing. Being big Into politics, this helps my argument with my liberal brother. Very few politicians if any could ever build a business from the ground up into a success such as this. All they do is try to tax hard working entrepreneurs like this man
What a great addition to the property. I have been a faithful follower since Daniel Arms mentioned you on his channel. Your property has really improved since that day. I remember you and Tiffany thanking all your new viewers when we started following you. It has been amazing to watch you both evolve. The highlight of my Sunday afternoons are your livestreams. See you on Sunday.
We are so thankful and appreciative of everyones support.
Love it. Cheers from Oklahoma.
Thank you for watching
It looks great!
Thank you
Nice install and now you have the "Wood Shed" of your dreams. 😉
I'm looking forward to using it.
man i love your ch bro i seen a whole bunch of vids man so inspiring keep it up man love the style and sweet views
Appreciate your watching and the support.
Nice pole barn ❤❤❤
Nice pole barn.
Completely awesome Andrew. I'm not going to second guess you as you go forward because to me you always make the best choices as to what you need and what is most efficient 🪓👍
Thanks for the vote of confidence
i love it! might wanna try out a motion light or two them ones you got on the house are awsome!
For sure putting lights and security out here.
@@TKCL I love those lights! some guy i know got me hooked on them i ended up buying two!
looks nice john
Thank you sir
Nice barn. You can get some thru eyebolts, wire rope, and turnbuckles for x bracing. It will really strengthen it up for not too much money. Only have to do one bay each long wall side.
I might consider that
This looks great and what a team. They really knocked it out quickly.
They sure did
Real NICE! 😅
Thank you
YEAH BABE
Its the 21st century... BackWoods doesn't have a web site? Great lookin' addition Andrew!!
What are you talking about 🤷. Website is in the description as always.
@@TKCL - I'm talking about the "baseball" sign, as you called it not including the companies web site. The description for the video won't be seen by folks at a baseball game.... 🙂
Ahhh I see, but I'd image its at a local ball field where people most likely know about the business.
Your log house!
I stopped by their booth at Sunbelt after seeing your barn in person... exactly what I need for the Woodmizer...
I had no idea they were there, hate I missed them.
Well, ya got me all excited...
Me too
A decent gust is sending that into the neighbors field.
Got to love these uneducated comments. It's engineered to 140 mph with plans. We took a hit by a major hurricane late last year, the biggest on record in my area. 20 miles from the coast in Florida, zero issues with all my barns. Poles are buried deep in the ground and staked with rebar into concrete. Trusses fully tested and engineered. This isn't your grandpa's barn.
So good that you got it built, may you use it for many decades successfully:)) On the other hand I love your building videos, but OK, I understand, you're older now, back etc, LOL
Lol, more like I don't have the time.
Earlier, you said wood splitters as plural do you have something else coming? the wood processing center looks great
Yes, the Animal I already showed and the tractor splitter I mentioned in that video. I have to assemble and build out the tractor splitter.
@@TKCL I must’ve missed that in the video that’ll be neat to see
Nice building Andrew. Only one problem. They built it in the wrong spot. It was supposed to be built in northeast Indiana
Ooops
👍👍
Andrew, will you be having Tiffany help you with all your wood projects ❤😊😮
A lot of them, yes.
You guys are in the Panhandle. North Florida is over here in Lake City. I immediately looked up Backwoods and was like 3 hours?? 😂 I kid. Great video! Did you do a vid on the rocks or millings?
They ship anywhere, call them up. Here is the pad video ua-cam.com/video/N_cKzHkHewI/v-deo.html
Hey cash I see our place is going in.
🤔🤔🤔 IDK the deer stand still has walls and windows so I don't know if I want to leave just yet 🤷🏽♂️
Solar panels on the roof for power. Lots of sun shining on that roof
It's in a bad spot for sun, across the yard from it has full sun.
With a sawmill, you can make some good cash even on just green lumber. lots of people will build with green and you should pick a day for doing custom work. Don't weight too long or someone will take your idea with lots of unemployment in your area.
There are already quite a few private mills in the area.
I suppose you will need to dig a trench or a ditch or something around the building to keep the rain water from running into the building.
Appears to be two hangar beams lengthwise inside the roof. I guess you can hang something.
I'm building a raised pad and then covering with asphalt millings.
@@TKCL
There appears to be two hanger beams inside the roof.
Cut and fill. The material from outside could be used to fill the inside.
With all of the modern steel and concrete post extensions, would have made your building last much longer instead of putting wood in the ground.
That would also make it weak. You need lateral wall support to put posts on top of concrete. Buried in it you get that strength with open walls.
@@TKCL
I mean manufactured rigid extensions for the poles like Morton Building uses that are available from Morton Buildings.. These would help to hold the building up because they don't rot.
I don't know if you have any eave troughs on your other pole barn but putting eave troughs on it would reduce the amount of water that blows inside the building..
They may not be as rigid as I think they are. I would need to check.
The Wood Hut
I like it!
wrapping the posts in plastic wrap or a sleeve insures posts will last ... i have seen them rot off at the ground in 7 years ....
That's almost always because proper drainage is not in place, gravel in the bottom of the holes and do not seal off the end of the post takes care of this problem.
I may have missed it but was wondering how much this project cost?
Barn varies by upgrades, $5k give or take. Labor roughly $4k.
Nice building, just curious. What are your plans for all the wood you'll be turning out?
Sell it next season. Plus I want to get into specialty woods and sizes for cooking.
Andrew will you do all your wood working projects in the pole barn (taking your table saws over)?
No, too much humidity in Florida to leave tools outside.
@@TKCL maybe a enclosed room?
My shop will have that eventually.
👍👍…👀
Yea yea I’m first ?
🤔🤔🤔I don't think so 🧀🪤

Got it!
@@5150cash hahaha, thanks Cash. You guys are too quick, I thought I was doing good but you guys blew me out of the water🤣!
Quick question, I contacted Backwoods and they say they don’t build in Perry, who’d you use to assemble the pole barn?
They don't, but they do ship here. Email me at kelleyscountry@gmail.com and I'll suggest a local builder for a very fair price who just built mine.
@@TKCL Will do, Thank you.
What does that size run
It depends on the upgrades, $5k give or take on the upgrades.
Thkz
Total cost for the end of the project?
Barn kit and install was $9k ish.
Well when are we going to see some more wood splitting videos 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤔🤔🤔
Just as soon as you get to Florida! Bahaha!
@@CrystalParanormally on my way 🙄🙄🙄😬😬😬
Your welcome to come on!
@@TKCL 🙄🙄🙄🙄 I'm walking I'm on my way 🫣 LoL
What’s square foot price on one of those?
Barn is around $3.50 a square depending on upgrades. Labor was $2.75 a square.
@@TKCL thank you I sent a request for an estimate
If you don't mind mention you heard about them on our channel.
@@TKCL I did👍🏻 not sure it’s going to be the right fit for what I want to do but I’ll give them a shot

Why would you ever want a sawmill are you going to sell lumber to the public
Projects, side hustle and I have a unique situation where people want to watch that type of content.
The "wood shed" 🪵
Yes I like it.
