      I think the plastic wrap over the aluminum foil tray is to keep it from germs?
      I.e. You're supposed to take it off so the hot oils from the food don't dissolve the plastic and wind up in your stomach?

      The average one person's monthly wage in China can pay for all living expenses for a family of three, that is plenty of food, housing, utilities, and a car payment. The reason you think the wage is low in China is because you look at its foreign exchange rate to the currency in your country, and you compare its exchanged amount to the average monthly wage in your country, but if you compare the affordability for living in China to that in your country then they are about the same based on the currency and average income amount in that country.
      If you compare the prices of restaurant meals, groceries, transportations, medical care, higher education, and many other expenses in China to that in your country then you can understand it's all about foreign exchange which the currency in your country exchanges for a lot more of Chinese currency.
      It's all about foreign exchange, it creates an illusion.
      Purchasing power of a currency in its own country is what you need to look at.

      When their price is very cheap, there will be a lot of customers, so even if the profit is very small, you can still make a lot of profit. At the same time, their purchasing volume is very large, and they can buy raw materials at lower prices.
      This is a strategy for the Chinese to do business. You're going to see a lot of cheap Chinese products that fit that strategy as well.Although some people think that cheap goods threaten the interests of some people, it does allow more people to buy freely.

    I cook by myself and buy fresh food from pinduoduo(chinese version TEMU), if you order before 11:00pm, it would be delivered to your home at 11:00am in next day, truck carry foods from field directly, it is very fresh, and the cost, it is about 10yuan(1.5 dollars) per day per person on average, I mean, this price covered everything your need, rice, meat, vegitables, fruits, snacks, milk, bread, drink, and so on. well, if you order in day time, the cost would be even lower 10-15%, the price is dynamic which is controlled by program. so, you can image that, Chiense really dont want that "NO.1"crown, we know how to live a good life.

    Food should be affordable and delicious. The current food prices inflation and COL in places like the US is capitalism run amok. The govt in China works to make sure food, agriculture, transportation, logistics, infrastructure and govt spending in general is designed to benefit the people. In places like US its designed to benefit not even the 1%, but the 1 person who owns the businesses at the expensive of essentially everyone else.

      $2 for AYCE. People who eat here probably just make $300-$500 a month or maybe even less.

      It's called PPP purchasing power parity. Go look it up. Higher wages is only half of the story. If the higher wages in USA is really keeping up with their prices for everything, they wouldn't have such high % of families on welfare or food stamps, or people living on the street.

    • @yank-blood-no-eat-get
      @yank-blood-no-eat-get Рік тому +2

      A nation's PPP GDP is related to the purchasing power of that nation's local currency (local wages).

      Yeah go tell those poor working families in USA. Your wages is not the local currency, if you spent your wages to buy foods in China, you wouldn't need your food stamps any more.🤭

      @@Jayjay-2007All this talk ignored the fact you get an all you eat buffet if adjusted to western PPP of a factor of 5 of maybe 10bucks in the US? Good luck finding those in the US

    The style of food and the segmented serving trays reminds me a lot of Hunter Connection food court here in Sydney. Also bargain prices, great for lunch in the CBD. Not a buffet though. Unfortunately it's now closed to make way for the metro.

      因为蜜雪冰城便宜靠的就是密集的店铺,便利的交通,还有各地的蜜雪工厂。新加坡没有蜜雪工厂,所以要从中国运输过去,增加了运输成本。再加上店铺不够密集,运过去可能也就只能为几家供货,所以货装不满,进一步增加运输成本。

    Mixue is opening outlets like crazy too in Indonesia. If there are a vacant space, soon enough Mixue will be there. Local even makes joke out of it, "don't let your heart empty for too long, otherwise Mixue will open an outlet there" lol
