Hello, I just found your video today and I just subscribed to your channel because I like your presentation. Your answers to many questions were very helpful to me. I wonder how you handle the hot weather during the summer there. I lived in the US for over 40 years and there are four seasons where I live. I am exploring the options where I should retired to. Thank you for your insight about living in Thailand.
Glad you enjoyed my videos. Yes, I lived in the US for 41 years in California. It is very hot here, and they still sweat when I go out. Trust me, the Thai people are also sweating. You will get used to it, but probably never 100%.
The 'zucchini' vegetable @8:00 is called chi qua in Chinese or sometimes called 'loofah' in english. Im not sure what it's called in Thai but it's one of my favourite vegetables!
Your videos are so fun, interesting and informative! I really enjoy your channel. My neighbor, who is a young Thai woman here in the USA studying to be an engineer, showed me your channel! She knows my husband and I are interested in visiting her country and maybe moving there. We are older and we consider her our “adopted” daughter. Her parents are still alive in Thailand, but we have taken her under our wing. She is a beautiful, delightful person. She makes delicious Thai food and shares with us sometime. Thanks again for your channel and videos, Serg! 🙏😊❤️👍🏻 PS That buffet looks amazing and delicious!!
Hello Melody! I am so happy to know that you enjoy these videos. Sounds like you have a wonderful neighbor. Hopefully you’ll be able to come and visit this country, I think you will find it full of warm and lovely people and a wonderful culture. See you soon!
Hey Serg, yesterday, Shake Shack burger has been opened the first branch in Thailand which is located at Central world G floor (beside the mall courtyard). You are a food blog youtuber so I just want you to try it and make some review clip. I heard that the line is so long you might wait 2 hr for having a seat) Enjoy 😊
That's so sad. There are too many fat people in the USA/Australia partly because of junk food. We need places like he showed today in this video and food doesn't taste better.
We have plenty of food 24/7, and we've gotten used to it. I found a big problem when I was in London for the first time as I could not find a proper breakfast anywhere near my flat. In the end, for my breakfast, I turn to a big bowl of fruit yogurt nearly every day. It's really nice to see you enjoy breakfast by the road and you use a fork and spoon also. Thumb up.
The vegetable that you identified like a squash is 'loufa' or sponge melon. I like it a lot in a fried dish or as a soup. A very fun episode and I enjoy watching you enjoy the real 'comfort food' for the Thais - from all walks of life. thanks Serg.

Yes, since I can’t read Thai did not realize you had to pay first. The owner was so kind, he kept telling me to get more. Almost every Thai person that was there got two or three plates as well.
Serg have you experienced upset stomach from eating street food? Do you drink tap water there? I’ve never seen all you can eat buffet street food. I’m sure the food is delicious. Thanks for taking us along. Great video!
You’d be crazy to drink tapwater here. Absolutely not. I have a very sensitive stomach, so I have issues quite often from many regular foods so I have to be a little careful.
@@LifewithSerg where are you from? I was few weeks ago in Bangkok and street food sellers greatly appreciated tips. And I've seen outside of Bangkok people also greatfully accept tips, even if its small amount. So yeah tipping is not expected/forced in Thailand, but is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to thailand 🙏ประเทศไทยยินดีต้อนรับครับ❤👍👍🇹🇭
Yes thank you.
Not only foreigners from overseas even me in Chaiyaphum Thailand., I never have a chance to try this shop. Thank you very much for your clip ^_^
Glad you enjoyed!
Serg, you go bro. I reserved a hotel room close to Lumphini Park and I will definitely chow down at that buffet.😜
I hope yon enjoy it! I suggest coming early as it gets really busy from about 11 to one
The 'zucchini' vegetable @8:00 is called chi qua in Chinese or sometimes called 'loofah' in english. Im not sure what it's called in Thai but it's one of my favourite vegetables!
Yes it’s quite good!
@@LifewithSerg thank you for your reply!
Hey Serg, yesterday, Shake Shack burger has been opened the first branch in Thailand which is located at Central world G floor (beside the mall courtyard). You are a food blog youtuber so I just want you to try it and make some review clip. I heard that the line is so long you might wait 2 hr for having a seat)
Enjoy 😊
Yeah I thought it opened last week. I’m not a good vloger, but I like food. Might have to go try once it quiets down.
That's so sad. There are too many fat people in the USA/Australia partly because of junk food. We need places like he showed today in this video and food doesn't taste better.
ขอให้คุณมีความสุข ในการทานอาหารในราคาทุกคนเข้าถึงได้ คนไทยเป็นผู้ให้จริงๆ
I think that’s a wonderful thing about this location. The food is very affordable for everyone.
Good price with yummy street food.
Yes it was!
You have lived a very good life. I admire you.
I’m very content.
Thumb up.
We all like our comfort food! It’s food that brings all of us together.
The vegetable that you identified like a squash is 'loufa' or sponge melon. I like it a lot in a fried dish or as a soup.
A very fun episode and I enjoy watching you enjoy the real 'comfort food' for the Thais - from all walks of life. thanks Serg.
Thanks for letting me know! This was all quite delicious. Glad you enjoyed it as well.
I was there and loved 🥰 all yummy.
Yes it was!
❤️🌺😘🥰คนไทยยินดีต้อนรับ ขอให้ทุกคนมีความสุขในการกิน😋อร่อยมาก เคยไปกินแล้ว
Yes so good.
Hi🤗
I’m Thai 🇹🇭🙏
enjoy your clip.😊
I just would like to recommend you,
Foods with coconut milk, spicy salad, in March-July You must eat freshly cooked only.
Yes we are in summer, you are correct about freshly cooked food!
Nice bro nice food 👌 How is the weather today? Bro
Bad air quality today. Oh well.
l very so happy you like Thai food you are can eat everything
Yes do love it.
hi Serg, great information provided on location, landmark.mode of transport, food vendor operating hours etc. N which day to avoid with disappointment for their public cleaning. 👍
You’re most welcome. I only know this because the first time I try to come here was a Monday, and it was closed. Lol.
Have you try thai Turbo riverboat yet? It's crazy fasttttttt
Not yet, but that is coming up in a video soon!
Great Vlog Serg
Glad you enjoyed it
Did you make sure to say hi to A-train Travels when you vlogged this video? he was behind you :D
We were each so focused on making our videos we did not say hello to each other. Will do next time I run into him.
Das buffet ist wirklich gut nach Auswahl!!
Yes good selection for sure!
Looks incredible! Craving Thai now. Enjoy the videos, particularly the food!
Glad you enjoy. More food videos coming up.
That’s amazing for the price
Just love street food most of the time there better than the restaurants
Yes it was very cheap and good for the price.
Wow, you made 3 rounds!! 50 cents each round. What a deal!!!
BTW, I saw a sign saying please pay first😁
Yes, since I can’t read Thai did not realize you had to pay first. The owner was so kind, he kept telling me to get more. Almost every Thai person that was there got two or three plates as well.
@@LifewithSerg
Haha, I would have done the same for sure;)
He paid just 50 thb for all. 🙄🙄
Try the other buffet 45-60฿ nearby Makkasan canal and train hospital
Oh ok!
Amazing to see you also try the street food, some people think it looks like it's less hygiene
It definitely has less hygiene, but I love trying different street food here!
Deem left no tip after 3 plates😄😄😄
Tipping is not a thing here in Thailand. Especially not on street food. 🤪🤣
🎯💯 Agree. I will not subscribe, he's not a good exemple. Thais would say : farang kii nok.😅
@@sabaidee5587 Lol :D, I have nothing against Serg, but after 3-plates and considering he enjoyed it... :D I don't know, tipping for me is not about the amount, its about the idea that you are willing to give a bit more....just shows appreciation
When I do give tips, I usually give 5-20baht and thats not that much actually, but people are very happy to receive that.
@@Gymson Exactly. It's about appreciation and respect.
Wow that is low price food look good as well and you can see that it is good by the amount of people that eat there
It’s definitely good, but I think it takes most Westerners a while to adjust to this kind of food.
@@LifewithSerg yes it probably do take some time and I been watching vlogs about Bangkok for 3 months now and I am super impressed how the city looks
The food looks great..
It was pretty good!
Life with a hungry Serg 😋
Ha ha ha. Always. Lol
First bite , I think it’s bamboo shoot. The string bean dish , it’s not a pork. It’s look like Chicken Gizzard. I am familiar with all my Thai food. I am glad you really like it. I miss Thailand.
Yes bamboo shoots. So tasty!
