I was 11 when Splatoon first came out and I absolutely feel in love with everything it had to do with this game. The vibe, music, colors, story, gameplay mechanics, events and so much more. I met wonderful people of this community because of this game and I learned how to enjoy the everything each game haves to offer. Unique experiences. Now I’m gonna be 18, graduating highschool. And my hype for this franchise hasn’t die yet, not even a little bit. Can’t wait to have the three hard copies of this amazing trilogy together on my hands already. Since they forever will be stuck in my heart and mind forever, thank you Nintendo.
Same!!! I got splatoon 2 but I watched gameplays of the first one, apart from that, we have pretty much the same experience lol. Can’t wait to finally graduate, I’ll be able to enjoy splatoon 3 after finishing senior year (thank goodness)
I got Splatoon 1 two months after it's release and since then, it's introduced me to so many cool things. I really like Splatoon 2, especially it's DLC, and based off of what I've seen so far, the next game is gonna be fire.
Ha, I was twelve! I remember watching the squid research lab over and over, becoming more captivated each time. Combine that with the wonderful American marketing campaigns and events like the mess fest with Kit and Krysta and I could hardly wait to play. After release, the mysterious and captivating world of the inklings and octarians as told through the sea scrolls became my first interest in videogame lore, and something my 12 yr old self didn't expect at all. This franchise has been fantastic!
It probably isn't them, although that would be cool. This takes place in a different country to the first game so I doubt they'd make a physical appearance, but an appearance through a music track would be neat.
@Diesel St Ivany no, I mean you are true, the beta era was rabbits. But before the rabbits they used grey and white tofu, that was REALLY early in development. So they changed to rabbits, and they felt like it didn't suit the theme of shooting paint so they choose squids, and here we are now

@@uviolin593 take a good look at the early version of the map - scorch gorge, that was showcased here if youll watch most recent trailers like the launch one, youll notice that they sizeably shrank down the stage and made it way less interesting over all, while also narrowing your approach options this is a trend with all splatoon 3 stages going forward

@@basilblue32 the pattern seems to be complimentary colors on the paint color wheel (which is different from the light color wheel which does yellow, cyan, and magenta) Everything makes sense except for green and pink, it should actually be green and red. But red is not really a splatoon ink color (excluding splatfests) because it's more harsh and reminiscent of blood. But because that's where complimentary colors on the color wheel end (at least with the primary colors), there's no telling what's gonna be the next set of colors. tl;dr idfk lol

Its also got a year of development ahead, are you really that surprised a teaser shows ported assets? Ofc they're gonna tweak things up and we can see they already have to quite a large extent. *Part one: My Basic Theory* So chaos won Mr. Grizz was able to get more of a foothold on the economy which due to his shady practices and greed almost hunted salmonids to extinction by using the inklings in salmon run who stole their eggs and committed fish genocide. This would explain why Salmonids have formed a symbiotic relationship with inklings (to protect the species from going extinct) and the Save Our Salmon post from last year. Notice that the great salmon migration should be over now,pointing towards something happening to their ecosystem or population. Also note that we aren’t even in inkopolis anymore we don’t even know the fate of what happened there. The Inklings in the splatlands are described as “battle hardened” meaning that the chaos probably did numbers on the society that they live in. (Yes,we live in a society) *Part Two:Off the Hook* Now,regarding off the hook there are 2 ways that it could go: One: Pearl didn’t understand the weight of her actions and the effect it would have on the world,and her and Marina together are the ones who run the story mode (maybe with some Calamari if you know what I mean) trying to undo the apocalypse that Pearl unknowingly caused Or the more likely scenario, Pearl takes advantage of the chaos and becomes the figurehead/leader of said chaos while Marina works beside the player to get her girlfri-BEST FRIEND back to the way that she was before the splat fest and hopefully DJ Octavio won’t be there. And it will be Grizz (MORE ON HIM IN A BIT) *Part Three:It Isn’t France* There’s also a chance that because of the pyramids in the background it isn’t France and it’s Hong Kong which has a wonders of the world thing with the towers and pyrimid,AND splatsville looks a whole lot like Hong Kong so it’s PROBABLY THERE! *Part Four:The Rise of Lil Judd* I believe Lil Judd will be the only judge because he was on team chaos which won (duh) and it says that he’s “looking to overthrow Judd” in the art book so he’s probably taken advantage the chaos to do that! Judd probably (hopefully) isn’t dead but Lil Judd has probably overthrown him as the main judge,and probably feels more at home in the chaos ravaged city. How darling. *Part Five(ish):No,Mr. Grizz is NOT a bear eating salmon eggs why do people think that. It’s beyond stupid* Read the title of this part...it’s too big of an operation,and if he’s soooo hung up on keeping his identity secret then why would he use a bear statue as a radio if he was a bear? I mean I just wanted to point that out,it’s nothing big but still. *Part Six:No the Smallfry isn’t a pet,wtf?* Salmonids have been REPEATEDLY referred to as a species who is as intelligent and as advanced as the inklings and octarians,it’d be weird to keep a sentient and intelligent species as a pet. I would say that the salmonid is the equivalent to a child (say 4-5 years old) and the inkling and it have a symbiotic relationship. The end of “Theory time with Fia”
I don’t really believe on it releasing next year, the teaser and the gameplay shown look very advanced, like if they have taken their time with this. I expect a winter 2021/22 release, it just looks so advanced to release on a later date.

This could be parts they’ve finalized for a trailer and since they showed so little. They’re probably working on other maps or maybe a story mode. January 2022 at the earliest probably fall 2022 at the latest.
Well thing is that this is a different location called splatlands this place is miles from inkolpolis. I don’t think that mr grizz would have anything to do with this because of location. I still can't believe that I'm playing the game right now. I remember being so hyped about Splatoon 3 last year while playing Splatoon 1 & 2! Now it's time to enjoy Splatoon 3 for another 5 to 6 years before Splatoon 4 comes out!

@@basilblue32 the pattern seems to be complimentary colors on the paint color wheel (which is different from the light color wheel which does yellow, cyan, and magenta)
Everything makes sense except for green and pink, it should actually be green and red. But red is not really a splatoon ink color (excluding splatfests) because it's more harsh and reminiscent of blood. But because that's where complimentary colors on the color wheel end (at least with the primary colors), there's no telling what's gonna be the next set of colors.

*Part one: My Basic Theory*
So chaos won Mr. Grizz was able to get more of a foothold on the economy which due to his shady practices and greed almost hunted salmonids to extinction by using the inklings in salmon run who stole their eggs and committed fish genocide. This would explain why Salmonids have formed a symbiotic relationship with inklings (to protect the species from going extinct) and the Save Our Salmon post from last year.
Notice that the great salmon migration should be over now,pointing towards something happening to their ecosystem or population.
Also note that we aren’t even in inkopolis anymore we don’t even know the fate of what happened there. The Inklings in the splatlands are described as “battle hardened” meaning that the chaos probably did numbers on the society that they live in. (Yes,we live in a society)
*Part Two:Off the Hook*
Now,regarding off the hook
there are 2 ways that it could go:
One:
Pearl didn’t understand the weight of her actions and the effect it would have on the world,and her and Marina together are the ones who run the story mode (maybe with some Calamari if you know what I mean) trying to undo the apocalypse that Pearl unknowingly caused
Or the more likely scenario,
Pearl takes advantage of the chaos and becomes the figurehead/leader of said chaos while Marina works beside the player to get her girlfri-BEST FRIEND back to the way that she was before the splat fest and hopefully DJ Octavio won’t be there. And it will be Grizz (MORE ON HIM IN A BIT)
*Part Three:It Isn’t France*
There’s also a chance that because of the pyramids in the background it isn’t France and it’s Hong Kong which has a wonders of the world thing with the towers and pyrimid,AND splatsville looks a whole lot like Hong Kong so it’s PROBABLY THERE!
*Part Four:The Rise of Lil Judd*
I believe Lil Judd will be the only judge because he was on team chaos which won (duh) and it says that he’s “looking to overthrow Judd” in the art book so he’s probably taken advantage the chaos to do that! Judd probably (hopefully) isn’t dead but Lil Judd has probably overthrown him as the main judge,and probably feels more at home in the chaos ravaged city. How darling.
*Part Five(ish):No,Mr. Grizz is NOT a bear eating salmon eggs why do people think that. It’s beyond stupid*

Salmonids have been REPEATEDLY referred to as a species who is as intelligent and as advanced as the inklings and octarians,it’d be weird to keep a sentient and intelligent species as a pet. I would say that the salmonid is the equivalent to a child (say 4-5 years old) and the inkling and it have a symbiotic relationship.

I don’t really believe on it releasing next year, the teaser and the gameplay shown look very advanced, like if they have taken their time with this. I expect a winter 2021/22 release, it just looks so advanced to release on a later date.

This could be parts they’ve finalized for a trailer and since they showed so little. They’re probably working on other maps or maybe a story mode. January 2022 at the earliest probably fall 2022 at the latest.
Well thing is that this is a different location called splatlands this place is miles from inkolpolis. I don’t think that mr grizz would have anything to do with this because of location. Besides that though it is weird that a salmoid is here in the first place unless something happened that dried up their land.
