I really love the added player titles and medals awarded to the players at the end of each match. Not to mention, the music is HARD! Just 4 and a half months and the wait will finally be over!
They must of been inspired by COD Vanguard in terms of titles.
Yeah ikr! I’m like getting envious
Less goooooo
Past the end of summer break, and Labor Day. When I think of September, my guess is that weeks after this game is released, Fall begins, so it’s sequel should be in Fall 2027.
didnt ask picrew pfp :tr
Can't wait! Cool to see some prolonged gameplay!
Or a Direct :)
Hi zack big fan of your splatoon content and l also can’t wait the new special are mad awesome
**sniffs** hello man from my childhood. Been around since Splatoon, can't wait to see you play Splatoon3 :')
Yooo you were the guy that got my into splatoon when I was in like 4th-5th grade :D I’m a junior in high school now and I still LOVE splatoon tysm!!!
ZACKSCOTT DAILY UPLOADS YOU'RE BACK!?! I MISSED YOUR DAILY UPLOADS SO MUCH
I've gotta admit that this Splatoon definitely looks like the highest skill ceiling. The increased movement and weapon types are slamming. I'm also super excited for the customisable titles and music.
@deanthethe I think they mean the titles above the names that you can see in the victory screen
@deanthethe 239 people managed to get what I meant. I was referring to the descriptors above the usernames.
What increased movement?
i wish i could be there to play it.
@BANNEDDOTVIDEO INFOWARSDOTCOM have you ever played splatoon 2 x rank though
3:19 Something I noticed that is SO small, but such a good detail is instead of abruptly stopping, they gradually skid to a stop. Amazing detail :)
That attention to detail really makes me hyped for this! I mean, I was hyped before, but someone looked at something as small as that and decided to fix it. I’m really excited to see how it improved!
Might be a internet glitch, kind of how some people play for like 1 second after the game ends because of their bad wifi.
@@papajohn5081 I don’t think nintendo themselves would have internet problems. But, could be a possibility
They also gradually skidded, not continued then abruptly stopped.
@@ooctie oh
That vacuum special looks really cool, especially for modes like tower control. It’s cool to see the ink missile back as well in an updated, smaller form. I’m so stoked for this!
S U C C
maybe you can suck in players if you are really close
It reminds me of the triple ink strike tactic from the manga
The background music for Splatoon 3 is really rocking. Not planning on getting the game but my friend is excited for a new game and the story mode for Nintendo Switch. I wonder what the story would be like in the new game.
My boi Luigi finally made it to splatoon with his vacuum
What I really want most is replays of our previous matches. Imagine being able to use those sweet camera controls to study your old games from different perspectives.
That would be amazing!
What if, and hear me out, thats exactly whats happening here.. 🤔 like, this is a replay of a match that was had, and you can swap between the players to view their screen.
It's not likely cause you see the ultimate ability ui, but it'd be cool
@Graycier It could also just be a spectator view though. It looks pretty similar to the spectator view that's available in Splatoon 2 PBs. Would be cool if they used it for replays, or allowed players to spectate while they wait in solo que though!
Oh my gosh it could save your past like 20 matches like Mario Kart 8 and you can save the ones you really like in the SD card so you can view them and maybe edit them that would be great!
So this aged well.
At 0:17, you can see the Tri-Stringer (The bow) launch themselves at the top left on a platform up above, meaning that you can choose whether to spawn up high to have the high ground advantage to snipe players, or go low to cover turf and fight up close. This game is going to have so many ways to go around the stages, and I love it!
insane detail! thanks for pointing that out!!
@Bigchuggle Probably not. Tho it would be pretty funny if you did.
@@jamesmcclure90 I don't want to respawn!
Fighting E liter scopes are gonna be a nightmare
Nice find
Can’t believe it’s been 2 YEARS since this game came out…
The new respawn mechanics are definitely appreciated. Spawn camping was quite easy to do and quite hard to get out of in 2
just stop spawning
100% agree, that feature alone already makes this game superior! Spawn camping isn’t fun on either side of the coin. If you’re winning, it’s boring cause you’re just shooting squids in a barrel, and if you’re losing, it feels hopeless. I REALLY love the flying spawn espresso machines!😂
Did no one else notice the little glow when you first jump in? If that’s a bit of invincibility after you spawn that is the final nail in the coffin for spawn camping
Anyone remember the killer whales in the first splatoon
Ikr, it was so annoying, they would just rush right on over, and spam kill while covering the entire map.
LET'S GO! I'm liking the new death cam, especially how it angles itself to be above the player for a birds' eye view. The new victory screen is also quite lovely! Lil' Judd got a little fuzzier/fluiffier(?) as well. The new respawn mechanic is welcome if your team is overwhelmed. 3:05 is also pretty cool, I have to admit!
Overall, I'm seriously excited to see what changed lore-wise as well as the multiplayer-aspect.
That could just be the spectating camera tho.. didn't you notice the buttons above the players heads occasionally?
@@aVRy_ You're right, I didn't notice that. Man, it would be nice to have it in, but thinking about that, it might give other players an advantage over the enemy, especially in scrims/tourneys
...*gotten* a little fuzzier. Really.
_Lil' Judd gotten a little fuzzier as well._
I think he needs a bath.
HEY MAN
It seems like mobility is gonna play a huge role in this because you can move alot with these ults and it seems like the maps for the new splatoon 3 is gonna be smaller making mobility play an even bigger role especially with the dodge rolling
**Specials
You definitely play clash based games
@@FunkyFurret Literally the same thing.
Splatoon has always been about movement.
@@spearmintpony7105 I'm just saying it's going to play a even bigger role
Is it just me or does it look like everyone will be able to dodge roll now and not just duelie mains? I think Splatoon three is gonna be easy to pick up but hard to master, nothing wrong with that though! Can't wait to meet everybody in the turf war!
I thnk that "dodge" is just in squid- and octoform. The dualies do it while in humanoid form. And even in squid- or octoform, you still take a bit of damage
@@hue_tjark I think you're right, but that still opens up a lot of movement options! I'm super excited to find out!
the squid roll and squid surge were revealed in the first trailer but yeah
Every player can Squid Roll or Squid Surge. Dualies will still have their Dodge Rolls though. Using them in Conjunction will be important
Last time I saw a Splatoon 3 trailer, I thought it looked pretty much identical to 2, but now it looks quite alot cleaner. I really like the new specials and while I thought many of 2's specials seemed quite underwhelming compared to 1 (especially the Stingray compared to the Killer Wail). I like that they seem to be attempting a compromise, kind of like as if the ban on the old supers for being too strong was partially reverted.
I also noticed that the crab special's regular shots take 3 hits to splat in the trailer.
Nah it still looks the same. This could have very easily been paid DLC for 2.
@@mmullins2983 How could this be payed dlc? all the new weapon systems, styles, a full story mode, spawning systems, maps, and a bunch of other stuff

@@challi5109 sure if you are a splatoon fan you are legally obligated to buy these games
True
The simple quick dash jumps you can do in squid form are such an underlooked feature they’re gonna make the fights so much more interesting, I love when movement based skill is involved and not JUST aim
Which is why I loved cod advanced warfare, yet everyone hated that, I wonder what people will think of this
read my name!!!!
I just hope they dont replace substrafing because substrafing basically gave this same type of movement in the last 2 games
The issue with CoD:AW (and a few other CoD games) is the CoD "fanbase", not the design of the games - The CoD "fans" are the definition of "hating change", but they're all obsessed with a set of 3 PS3 era games that honestly weren't even THAT good.
I absolutely loved the CoD games that added movement and verticality, because they actually introduced real skill elements.
The "fans" hated them because it made them think.
@@Mia-hj2ls highly doubt they would

It sounds like there’s new voice lines in Splatoon 3! For being splatted:

I really hope that the illegal union busting they did isn't forgotten about just because of a game announcement
@@dusklunistheumbreon I agree but also different side of the company, game announcement was a Nintendo JP choice
@@itsanapricot4545 It's all Nintendo, though.
Few things:
1. Stephanie’s title on their card at the beginning mentions “Man-o’-Wardrobe Big Spender”, indicating the name of Splatsville’s clothing shop, and that the titles are likely unlocked by achieving certain milestones
2. Lil’ Judd looks scruffy and dirty at the end, possibly because of Splatsville’s sandy environment, possibly because of some effect of the cloning process that made him, maybe because that isn’t the Lil’ Judd from Splatoon 2
3. The name cards at the beginning have 4 digit numbers written in the lower left hand corner, written in Arabic numerals, so they’re obviously meant to convey information to the player and aren’t just decoration. It’s probably an identification so that you can bypass the hassle of navigating friend requests and make playing with your friends easier.
Thanks for the info, I didn’t notice the shop thing
"Big Spender" could be a title referring to purchasable in-game currency, which would REALLY suck.
@@jerotoro2021 I find that unlikely, it almost certainly gets unlocked after spending a certain amount of in game currency in the shop "Man-o'-Wardrobe"
@@orangejuice3403 Indeed, but hopefully that in-game currency is earned in-game, and not purchased with real money. Honestly though, adding clothing/hairstyles/weapon skins that you can buy with real money would be an insanely good business decision by Nintendo, even if we would all hate it.
Yh I think number 3 is going to help out loads in tourneys and scrims. Adding players as friends then joining a pb is the biggest hassle on switch, especially for streamers who are doing live pbs. It might allow you to add people into a pb straight away without friending them
This game looks great! It's obvious they invested immensely in movement and incorporating it more into the gameplay. I'm loving the new specials :D
I just wish that the grappling-hook-arm-thingy was always part of the movement, but it makes sense why it's not

This game is a summer hit. You know, only if Nintendo decided to release it at the beginning of summer rather than two weeks before summer is over.
The downfall
Agreed, horrible release date.
it was gonna release july 29 but xeno 3 just HAD to take that spot
Where I live it's when summer break is over altogether
also, Callie?
It’s summer in Japan.
This is a lot further away from a release date than I expected. But man, I am super excited for this game. Even though I wish it would have came out in late June or July, it will be worth the wait. I am so excited. The gameplay looks incredible. The music slaps and is super good. The new special weapons look awesome too. There are even more inkling voice clips too. I can’t wait to get this
For a game this premium I was expecting November but September is a lot earlier then I thought
@@poweredvoltage3213 They announced a summer launch in February. I think it actually got a mild internal delay and its launch date swapped with Xenoblade 3, which was originally slated for September and got bumped up to July a few days ago.
@@JonSmith-hk1bq Correct. Xenobade 3 will be out in July 29, 2022.
I originally thought late August; to tie in with School summer holidays.
I expect that in September, most students/pupils will be returning to school, so not many people will be able to put in the hours they wanted.

I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT HAS ACTUALLY BEEN A YEAR
TWO YEARS?!
The Charger beam seems to be invisible until it’s pointed in your general direction. You still have to do the quick aim shot thing, but the barrier of entry has been lowered. Most likely in an attempt to get more people to play the Charger.
no..? Unfortunately it doesnt look like that atall
Dang, i didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. That charger was acting kinda sus tho
Additionally it appears you get an additional instant charge after splating someone which can be seen when the charger was shooting from inside the bubble shield. You see them slowly build up glow gor the first shot but then after splating they instantly get the glow again
MAJOR EDIT: on another look it appears that the instant charge is independent of splating someone and it seems there is actually a small window after firing a fully charged shot to instantly charge another and from the same spot in the video the charge chain is used 2 times in a row. Squiffer mains, we are out for *blood*
Charger's hard at the moment, so I appreciate the easing of its use.
@@aerosquid262 the beam disappears cuz its blocked by terrain
I hope they fix a couple things:
- Allow you to squad up with your friends to join Turf Wars together and stay on the same team, or remove the League Battle ranking requirement
- Allow you to skip the intro MC sequence
- Allow for split screen on one system for online play. Or even better, allow for 2v2 4 player local (like Mario Kart)
I'm not buying it if we can't skip the intro 💀
-1st point: hard disagree, stacked teams stomping in casual modes is not fun, and league battle is not casual
-2nd point: agree, I just wanna get into the game
-3rd point: isn’t as feasible on systems anymore with online shooters
@@HGWeegee yeah 4 people all split screen playing splatoon sounds like a painful mess imo
@@HGWeegee So for the 1st point, forgive me since it's been a while, I thought Turf Wars had match making based on your squad's overall level? If not, then couldn't League Battle have match making and allow for lower level groups? Basically I want to be able to play casually with my group of friends online, since most of us just never had the time to get to the level gate for League Battle. For example, if I wanted to just play some online games with 1 or 2 other friends, we were always stuck playing Turf Wars, and then were often playing against one another. Most online shooter games seem to allow for squads to play together, with matchmaking algorithms making sure there's a good matchup.
For the 3rd point, could you clarify what you mean by this? If Mario Kart can allow for 2 players per switch playing online, or having 4 players per switch playing locally, couldn't Splatoon do that too (back to the Golden Eye days :P)? I just want to get my friends/family together at home to just play together on the couch.. I remember that was a struggle during the Splatoon 2 days since a lot of my friends didn't have Switches. Hopefully it's less of a struggle with more Switches floating around these days.
i really like the new things that we are seeing in this trailer. there're new camera actions, a striker/bolder ui replacement which really represents the overall catch of splatoon 3! new weapon details + revamps and a bunch of more subs and specials that look more versatile and will definitely cause a huge change and shift in meta.
i also see that there are now tags, which are displayed at the beginning of the turf war. will they look interchangeable in the future, or will it be like in splatoon 2 where its automatically set for you? hoping for it to be interchangeable. music has also changed again and sounds broader, and the now or never has a much greater rock aspect into it, and it resembles splatoon 1's a lot!
the victory screen is literally everything?? i love it so much! there's really not a lot to say right now, but maybe there'll be an introduction to victory/losing emotes? emotes in general? maybe maybe. you can also see there are medals on the bottom right side, which might allude to achievements? maybe i'm going too far haha
lastly, it also looks as if the maps are smaller and will cause much more fights to happen (painfully taking place in this trailer unfortunately due to it just being the trailer (they really can't fight 😭) but i can't wait for everything! 10/10 trailer and that being said i'm gonna pre-order this right now lol

What I have gleamed from this is that I'll definitely be playing turf war a lot more in this installment. The specials look like they actually benefit turf war compared to the previous versions, and will definitely be a lot more fun overall in ranked modes.
I love the aggressive approach to the specials too reverting back to what splatoon offered. It gives people a chance who normally wouldn't be able to dominant due to lack of necessary skill or just going against weapons that absolutely oppress them. I personally play short ranged weapons and it gets tough to approach when you are constantly matched up with mid to long-ranged weapons when your weapon doesn't have the kit to contend. Definitely a plus seeing brush being able to grapple, because in certain do or die situations the brush may be the last line of defense and deserves a chance to shine without constantly having to wait until opponents approach you.

The special weapons for Splatoon 3 are quite aggressive meaning more competitive gameplay, which is a nice change to the more “team based” special weapons in Splatoon 2. Its also cool that Nintendo are bringing back variants from the first game which is good for players who preferred Splatoon 1’s special weapons to Splatoon 2’s. Also the special weapons in Splatoon 3 look inkredible. ;) Also I’d honestly watch this gameplay trailer over and over for hours than play Splatoon 2. Also Im Loving Lil’ Judd’s new fuzzy look, he looks so cute. :)

@@beamed7770 l know stopping tower from pushing will take like four button presses. Let’s be honest triple inkstrike will likely become the meta unless Nintendo find a good way to nerf it.

Holy crap, I almost fell out of my chair when I saw this. We’ve all really got to tip our hats to Nintendo for taking our ideas and there own, and making something that my mums gonna have to physically drag me away to stop me playing. Also is it just me or did I see dualie dashing for every weapon-

I'm really digging the titles and banners/borders that we'll have; gives more personalization for us. Especially would be nice to create premade groups to play with your friends easier, I really hope they have that in here this time around.
I love how at 1:05 the charger's shots line up perfectly with the music :P
I like how they switch up the main colors with each new game.
Orange vs blue for Splatoon 1

The specials are looking more aggressive than Splatoon 2's while not being totally OP like Splatoon 1's were. Eeltail Alley's looking quite well-designed for something so basic and open. The Stringer's looking like it could be more flexible than the old Chargers, but it might not have charge storage when morphed.
-And I'm calling it: the vacuum special's going to be called the Sucker Shot.- Well, that was a disappointment. And after they'd done so well with other names like "Killer Wail", "Echolocator", "Bubbler", "Inkjet" etc..
The "Vacuum" Is called Ink vac... Good idea with the bow.
The vacuum is called the ink vac. Sucker shot is still a cool pun though!! And also the the stringer can hold its charge :)
I like sucker shot better
@@iheartheartssss Yeah.
And I meant staying charged when you're morphed/swimming like the rifle Chargers.
I guess the reason why it’s called the ink vac is because it makes a pun of “ink sac” lol
Neat to see more utility oriented specials, seemed like in 2 that if you didn't deal massive damage then a special wasn't worthwhile. Here though there might be more strategy and coordination required which is neat. Really liking the grapple octobrush combo, hope that sticks in release because it looks super fun.
Edit: Fair point with ink armor lol, it's always a blessing to your team when used well. Still the match in this trailer had a lot less in the way of giant insta-splat explosions (save for that explosive launcher thing), which were everywhere in 2. Just nice to see more interesting designs that serve a purpose beyond dealing damage, similarly to ink armor.
on the other hand, dynamo + grapple will make me instantly fear and also hate that weapon
You gonna tell me getting Ink Armor every 30 seconds isn't worthwhile?
As an Inkbrush main, a brush+Zipcaster combo has me hyped. I'm going to be all over that arena.
I think the big issue with 2’s specials was that they felt way too weak. They were nice to have in a match, sure, but half the time when you used a special in 2 it didn’t seem like it made much of a difference. They just didn’t invoke as much fear and pressure in the enemy as the ones in Splatoon 1 did, which I think goes against the chaos that Splatoon is all about. It sort of feels like in 2 they overcorrected the specials from 1 being incredibly strong by making them a lot weaker by comparison. The idea of making specials less broken makes sense, but I think they went a little too far in some cases in 2.
@@heyitsyaboi8419 I don't know, I feel like some of 2's specials were too overpowered in your opponent's hand, while underwhelming to use when you use it. Tenta missiles are my worst nightmare when people spam it, but when I use it it rarely gets me anywhere. Maybe I just don't have good situational awareness, I dunno, but I really don't like using any specials in Spla2n.
Dude i like the new physics they have going on, like the waving hair that we already saw but also when someone gets splatted, their weapons and stuff bounce around like at 3:17 where that bow falls off, more than splat 1-2. Theres a whole bunch of details i could point out
Its so cool that they added luigi to splatoon tho
I might be wrong about the death physics but I don’t remember seeing it like that in splat 2

The ink looks like it always has? And besides, most of this is aesthetic, not really reason enough to buy an entirely new game for.

Yes, it's stupid that Nintendo decided to release 2 games in a series on the same console, but what can you do?

Love Splatoon 2, and now that I actually have a better idea of the backstory and lore for the franchise (seriously, look it up, it's surprisingly dark), I'm excited to see where they take us. Splatoon 2's two single-player campaigns are solid romps and actually do a solid job of setting up 3's story, plus the multiplayer looks as fun as ever, I'm excited for this and can't wait to play it.
Yeah i love both the MP and campaign. its an amazing platformer
you have bad taste
You could say that about most Nintendo property’s are dark, samus had her parents brutally killed in front of her, both pikmin and splatoon are post human extinction. A lot of kirby lore os pretty dark. Pokemon has a binch of separate pieces of lore that are very dark. Every legend of zelda game has some really dark stuff going on. Xenoblade just like in general. Many of nintendos propertys are pretty dark in a way.
Lmfao, "I have been writing a story for the campaign, than the developers, everyone pay attention"
@@skylinegtr3454 uh, except that wasn't what I was implying. I was actually saying that I have actually been playing through the campaigns of Splatoon 2 and was surprised at how dark the backstory is. Not a lot of people would pay attention to such a thing believe it or not.
While I definitely wanted to see this be an early summer release, I'm still glad to see the game is coming relatively soon. I can't wait to dive deep into the game!
The dev camera shifting perspective to different players here is super cool, I'd love to see it implemented ingame in some kind of spectator mode you could use in private lobbies or waiting to join a friend in a full lobby. Sort of like what happens when a lobby is full in Mario Kart, maybe?
Also, Lil Judd is so fluffy!!!!
it's already in splatoon 2! Spectator mode has been accessible in private battles since launch iirc
@@mattevolto Oh wow I didn't know that! My point still stands though that it would be really cool to see in full lobbies when you're trying to join a friend, rather than just the timer letting you know how long until the match ends.
@@doglikedude oh absolutely. it would make the wait a lot more bearable
@@mattevolto Yeah, it's the worst when a lobby is full so you have to wait a full three minutes and then another slot doesn't open by the next match so you have to wait ANOTHER three minutes or just give up. Not Good! We wanted Summer!!
@@mushroomman733 i was thinking it was July since they've all released in summer. This does stink a bit.
@@mushroomman733 Fully agree with ya.
One thing I would live to see is for left and right to get emotes.
We have "this way" and "booyah"
I think adding "fall back" (or something akin) or "help me" for one and "thank you" the other would be great to improve team communication in random matches.
Booyah is already used as a thank you but I see what you mean
Something like “Retreat!” Would be helpful like in Pokémon unite
They actually do have little animations akin to emotes that that play when you use them but only in human form and its only visible to your teamates. "This way" emotes even have different styles depending on the weapon class. I definitely do wish there was more to fill in the two unused dpad directions
@@yourmonthlyeevee1145 I don't see the reason to implement that. Whether you're in rank or Turf War, "Retreat!" would not be a good idea, as you should be pushing constantly, so retreating would give the opposing team a high advantage regardless of the situation.
@@jojohallbrook Actually, retreating in some cases can be very important. If your team is staggering respawns and keeps feeding in/trickling in, you are just making it easier for the other team to win the game because you will constantly be one/two people down. Knowing when to fall back and regroup so you can take on the enemy on in a fairer fight is one of the most important things to know in the game. While it is important to know when to push up and be aggressive, it's also equally important to know when to slow the pace down a little and retreat to a better defensive position.
i’m making a huge list of things that are new. give me twenty mins and i’ll be back with what i’ve spotted.
0:08 - we have name tags!!! these look customisable with preset patterns and names, similar to animal crossing’s passport. it seems that these are achievable, we can infer this from ‘clocked-out turf-warrior’ and ‘big-money man-o’”.
0:18 - we now know/it is confirmed that we can choose where we land before the match starts, and we have a pretty good scope of where we land also.
0:22 - we don’t know if this is an error or not, but the player is glowing at the start of the match. this may infer something with the spectator mode, or we may have some form of invincibility after we spawn.
0:25 - the splattershot has suction bomb, and the new inkzooka.
isn’t an inferance, but the new UI looks very crisp in my opinion. it looks very new if that makes sense. loving the art for the weapons and special gauge.
0:35 - the gal with the new wail weapon is a 190p special, it also has splash wall.
0:47 the splattershot pro has a mini locator that you can attach to opponents. it also has the crab tank special. from the p and gauge, we can also guess that it is a 200p special.
0:51 - the inkzooka actually does not ink the ground below you. the explosion radius looks a bit bigger than the exploshers.
0:58 - the shield special actually has a beakon attached to it! this would be amazing with zipcaster, or inkjet, so your team can jump to you and protect you alongside the shield.
1:02 now this! is super cool! we can see the persons’ name tag when we get splatted by them.
1:05 the vanilla splat charger has splat bomb and the new vacuum special, at 220p.
1:15 - this is very much a guess, but my assumption on how this vacuum special works is that we have to suck up our own ink, the enemy team is shooting at the vacuums,, vacuum, to slow it down it seems?
1:21 it shoots out an initial blast, and explodes slightly afterward similar to a bigger inkmine.
1:27 the vanilla splatbow has toxic mist and the new wail special. unsure of the p needed. the arrows, if missed, also create a micro-explosion on the ground.
1:33 vanilla octobrush has suction bomb and zipcaster, unsure of the p.
1:39 i’m pretty sure this has been confirmed before, but we now get to see it in action. the special gauge has a timer based on ink, and you can clearly see when the player uses their main weapon, it makes the special gauge go down faster. this’ll be very interesting.
1:52 three shot splat?? the range also looks similar to a jet squelcher to me.
2:03 THIS IS A BIG ONE WE’VE BEEN QUESTIONING. it is confirmed that we spawn back on the floating coffee machine and can choose where we spawn, we do not spawn on the ground which is amazing to combat spawn camping!
2:16 okay okay, the wail seems like it targets the player closest to you. if there is one person, it’ll work like a sting ray, if there are more than one, it will split into lesser powerful sting rays.
2:19 the vanilla slosher has splat bomb and inkstrike! i assume it is 200p. it also has three mini inkstrikes, it looks like you can let them off at a later duration, but also throw them for an almost instant setoff.
2:27 potential idol logo??? on the right.
2:34 this is good, the shield is breakable by the top and bottom it seems.
2:47 squid surge!
2:50 squid surge two!
2:53 curling bombs are also back.
3:14 another piece of evidence of my theory about the vacuum special.
3:21 ‘game’ then ‘finish’. this seems more fair! bc you can let bombs go off before it says finish etc
3:29 lil judd looks oranger??
3:30 the new stickers look AMAZING.
3:33 WE HAVE MEDALS !!! “#1 overall splatter, #1 popular target, #1 enemy splatter” splatoons new ‘mvp’ esk system it looks like. maybe these get us the titles?
3:40 i’m not being funny but this looks so amazing. i’ll let it speak for itself. the nametags, animations, poses. amaze.
that’s it for now i think! if theres anything i didn’t spot, please lmk
90% sure vaccuum absorbs enemy _shots_ specifically. Not ink on the ground. You can see in the first use that the slosher basically inks nothing while in the vaccuum's siphon. And when we see it a second time, the splattershot is firing at it and the shots vanish. It probably charges faster if you absorb more damaging or _inkier_ shots.
I love the new display and gear. The new abilities fit the “City of Chaos” get up. I like how it shows what weapons we should expect to have their specials. Can’t wait to see if they release a test fire.
Some of the devs said that they use fake weapon kits for trailers, so that won't be the specials and sub-weapons they have.
Can’t tell if it was intentional or not but I like how the shots lined up with the tempo at 1:05
