- This reverse etching of a wine bottle (after I drank all the wine, of course!) was inspired by @JenniferMaker (see her video here: • Easy Etched Wine Bottl... ) who -- as usual -- makes it look so easy! Following her instructions, I actually had pretty good luck trying this for the very first time, just in time for Valentine's Day (a "holiday" I think is a complete crock of 💩, but whatever). The St. Patrick's Day gods laughed and laughed.

I love using Armour etching cream on glass. I made Christmas ornaments for my kiddos teachers when they were in elementary school. Love this Cindy!❤

I did a bunch of Christmas ornaments with that exact etching cream a couple of years ago. They came out amazing. The only thing I did differently was that I left the cream on over night and washed it off in the morning. I heard or saw that the longer the etching cream was on the better the results would be. It was fun to play with. Your bottle came out really cool, and I love the fairy lights.
Thank you!! You know, looking back, I wish I’d left the cream on longer in this video. I mean the bottle came out fine, but I can see that longer would get better overall results. I’ll definitely leave it overnight next time - great suggestion!!

I managed to find a mini bottle of etch cream at dollar tree. Etched some beer mugs as a test.
I’ve heard that from others! The stuff I bought off Amazon was quite expensive, so it never even occurred to me that a dollar store might have any, even a different brand. How did it work??
