- Playing with sealing wax, different seals, and metallic waxes, then testing how well a hot glue gun can provide an adequate sealing "wax" seal. Basically just having a play with some fun stationery stuff. The paper gods were amused.

If you’ve used both sealing wax and hot glue with your seal stamps, which do you prefer?
I keep cycling these through my cart to use in junk journals but never actually check any of it out 🤣 I just love the colors of the wax mostly lol I miss the old school stationary stores! We had one when I was little that was my very favorite place to blow my allowance.

I have sakura wax seal stamp and the wax sealing stick that looks like a candle. I've only used it once for a Christmas card I made.
That's great! One of my few sealing wax memories as a kid -- aside from always wanting more seals and wax -- was that the gold sealing wax "candle" would catch fire off the burning wick, so the whole thing would start to burn and drop burning wax onto the paper. In retrospect, I'm really surprised my parents ever let me have that stuff in the house. 😅

Cindy you could maybe make a polymer clay handle for your spoon. Would that help with the heat? I love both. I remember using the sticks too 😊❤
Great idea! I never really thought about it -- I guess I haven't done too many in a row and had the handle heat up too much. But yes, clay would work, even duct tape would probably work (but not be as pretty).
