- I saw an ad for this easy-to-make fabric bowl online somewhere and thought it might make a fun project to do, right? How hard could it be?? Bahahahaha! Well, I found out that it may be very simple for other folks, but apparently not for me. On the other hand, I am glad I gave it a go, and I'm also very glad I don't have a sewing machine or I would have been tempted to put a LOT more effort into this than it already took. The fabric gods laughed and laughed and laughed.

Has anyone else tried making one of these woven bowls??
Many moons ago and never got as far as you did before I chucked it in a box😅 I love that the turtle 🐢 is in the middle too. That is really cute❤❤
Thanks, Gail!!! I almost missed getting the turtle in the middle (I did miss it completely on the first set I cut out), and what's so funny is I actually bought that fabric specifically to have the turtles showing. My brain is such a sieve these days 🤪😅

Hell no! I would've sent that flying across the room in two minutes. It is very pretty though. I always loved the woven seat belt purses.
LOL! If I wasn't so committed to getting some sort of video accomplished, I probably would've chucked it almost as soon as I started 🤔🤣
So while I approve the fabric choice (I used that on a tumbler I think 🤔 ) this project has all the notes about it for me but you did great! Super cute!

I love that you left the bauble falling in the vid! This is not a project for me, I don't understand why floppy bowls or baskets exist. They are not good for much! Just my opinion, and besides, I don't know how to sew but I have a sewing machine. I was going to try and learn a few years ago, f- that now!! ❤💛💚💙💜🌈🌠
