- TIP: Roofers - don't be jerks!
While the general relationship between roofers and adjusters is normally friendly and cordial, there are those "bad apples" in the roofing industry that help generate animosity between us and adjusters.
I can't say that I blame adjusters for holding negative stereotypes of roofers based on some of their interactions with roofers.
In this video, I'll show you what many adjusters have had to put up with from roofers who didn't like or agree with the adjuster's decision about the roof.

I have definitely noticed the nicer I am to my Adjuster the less problematic he will be, and he always comes to a mutual agreement to cover damage as long as it’s present
👍🏽
When contractors point out hail damage and it poop frina bird that's the worst hahah
Yes, that's hilarious. I've heard stories about that before.
How does this advice make roofers more successful? Honestly it’s a neat trick
Do you really think that a roofer that does that will be successful? I'm amazed.
@@homesteadroofing I never said that. But NOT doing it won’t MAKE them successful like your title claims. It’s a childish prank nothing more nothing less. Although I wouldn’t advise anyone do anything like that if they want to continue having a positive relationship with the adjusters
Lmao if your climbing on a roof bring your own ladder your not supposed to trust someone else’s ladder anyways lol
How does that help when the roofer takes your ladder or kicks it down?
I'm interested to know.
Tie the ladder off with a huge knot one that takes enough time to undo that you can reason with them lol
Another reason for a CCP.
I've talked with an adjuster on a roof who told me he has one - for this very reason. Amazing.
@@homesteadroofing A rope and some repelling gear would go up with me as well, and I might even drag the damn ladder up too.
Worthless lmao...
