Just really love these, the stress I feel at the moment with my job, I need this when I'm winding down.
Life is a nightmare sometimes holding on for a dream to arrive.
def love that last part of this comment.
@@Hugo_Tate Yep, me too.
Gotta pin this comment to the top.
From experience and from stories of family's experiences, I can definitely say that dreams have every chance of arriving, even when it doesn't seem possible. You just have to do your best, be patient, and endure until the day.
I don't think life can ever be 100% perfect, but it can bless you when you least expect it, become better than you imagined for yourself, and you'll look back on older days and say, "I made it."
@@Hugo_Tate
Lol thanks not sure where it came from, but basically could be better could be worse for this extraordinary thing called life.
Feel like my life is a Resident Evil mansion but the next safe room is still so far away. Hoping there will be some F Aid sprays, green herbs and ammo for me when I finally find it. There I go again 😅
I was born in Alaska and had to move a long time ago. Where I’ve been for 15 years now we don’t get snow so it’s always comforting for me to see it in games, movies, shows etc. Thanks for this.
Snow soothes the soul.
@@impurfekt it does for sure
@@SephPumpkin I'm right with you guys. I was in Fairbanks some years ago, but in summertime. Luckily, here where I live there is also regular snow, I could not live without it.
@@SurvivalSpheres oh my gosh I used to live in Fairbanks. I was born in Petersburg which is a pretty small fishing town, but then moved to Fairbanks and finally left to move way too much and look back on my mess of a life haha. I really miss the snow, it feels weird to live somewhere so opposite that’s dry and overpopulated. I can appreciate everything a lot more now tho, so that’s good.
@@SephPumpkin Small world eh? I liked that Fairbanks has a "Geist Road", which would mean "Spirit" or "Ghost Road" in German. What do you think: Will you return there one day? Maybe even for good?
I like the cricket and nature atmosphere sounds in this track. This is definitely one of those peaceful but mysterious sounds fitting for the games in a safe for now room. Enjoy it while you can, because outside of that door it's on and it's only a matter of time before you hear zombies gurgling. 🧟♀️ 🧟♂️ Well done as always! Thumbs-up!
👍 👍 🪴📦🚪🧟♀️ 🧟♂️ 🎮
I could have sworn I just heard some gurgling.... don't do something like that! :-D
I woke up from a nightmare a couple of hours ago containing a part where I fended off a burlap sack looking monster via chainsaw dueling it (possibly inspired by RE7 though that concept has been in my mind since childhood lol)
Having awoken in a cold sweat not all that long ago this is quite a soothing piece...
A while ago I saw a report where they explained that the dreams of gamers are different. Because their psyche has internalized the principle of "fighting back", they tend to face the threats of their dreams rather than run away from them, as is often the case with non-gamers. For me, a natural question arises: What came first? Hen or egg?
@@SurvivalSpheres Wow that's very interesting actually. I hadn't seen that but it makes complete sense to me. I too am left wondering if we were drawn to gaming for that reason or if it shaped us into who we are...No way to be certain but I feel it was the former rather than the latter. At least in my case.
@@einzelfeuer_2855 If I had to bet on either one, I'd join you.
Chilly vibes here. Cold outside and cold inside. Nowhere really to turn.
Or you could also put it that way: inside and outside worlds in balance.
I love the feel of this one and the lighthouse light blinking is a nice touch
I'm a lousy video editor, you wouldn't believe how long this red little dot took me until it looked good enough!
*The chill is astounishing, even the quiet moments bring a moment of peace, a feeling of solidariety and the chills of the cold dark outside that is right in front of us, so calm, so gentle, but so... so... suspenceful...*
*Another gentle breeze of your beautiful work, will be coming down here again for some more my friend ^_^*
I'll be here. Always good to see you.
I love when you create something this beautiful
Very nicely done! With the crickets and wind sounds, it feels like it could be a safe area outside rather than and enclosed room. The spacious use of synths really add to that feeling as well.
I indeed thought of a scenario where it's all quiet from the outside. But once you enter the building...
@@SurvivalSpheres Yeah, it would be a nice spin on things, making the forays inside dangerous and maybe being able to circle a location and enter from different points, each with pros and cons.
I have already listened to this composition for a couple of times and now I have come to what it remainds me of. Well, it is not RE yet Dishonored, especially the first part. This night atmosphere, the cricket song behind the major music motif makes me remember how I was playing the game, how I escaped the execution and now was breathing in the sewages listening to the darkness and dirt water stream. Yet the free breath that is born in your song is the same as mine. Nice work, David. Thank you.
This makes me curious, because I don't know Dishonored! Could you perhaps recommend a specific song?
@@SurvivalSpheres ua-cam.com/video/Cv0gFlcD_KQ/v-deo.html welll, maybe this one. I cannot explain adequetly but your tranquil lullent composition coincides with this one and street ambience. To my bepuzzlement, I haven't found the street soundtracks when you are wandering through the dying city but the story only begins.,
@@SurvivalSpheres ua-cam.com/video/ZNH6bE6Hr78/v-deo.html this one. yep, I was unattentive. This one.
Fn umbrella zombie crickets to be hanging out in that cold...
I heard those guys could survive even a nuclear strike.
It matches completely with the original game!
Excellent song and atmosphere, great composition as always!
Happy to hear that! I indeed tried to focus on the same 'feel' rather than re-create a certain musical style, instruments or composing technique from the game(s).
Absolutely love this
You keep coming back for some long time now :-)
thanks again for your work, it helps me alot
This is more comforting than it should be lol I love it
As we all know, there's no accounting for good taste ;)
Awesome synth progression. You could’ve instead said this was an Aphex Twin ambient track and I would believe it.
This is really nice. It captures a lot of nostalgia and other feelings. Very soothing, but with a sense of something big happening-I wish it *were* an actual mellow moment in RE. :p
Glat to hear what in evokes in you. Me personally, I have not yet solved the riddle of whether certain sounds can really 'contain' and 'transmit' nostalgic associations, or whether they do not rather resonate with something specific that is already present in the listener.
So good... ❤️
Sitting here with shoulder pain and I can’t sleep happy to see you upload, plan on making curry today. The vibes from this song is like a dark eerie night that seems to last forever
Your comment made me wanna check out what's left inside the fridge^^
@@SurvivalSpheres man that curry was great💀it was my first time cooking mild curry 😂
@@deathoftheoldme8645 Would you stop it please!? Seems like I have to go to the grocery store tonight after all :-D
Another masterpiece ! Thx and have a nice week-end ! ;)
You too, Barry! Say hi to the rest of the gang.
@@SurvivalSpheres Hello the rest of the gang, and thx too ! ;) Take care !
Super heavy old-school survival horror vibes with this one! I could listen all day. The rain in the visual does resemble snow, and I was thinking recently: have you ever imagined what Raccoon City was like in Winter, or at Christmas time? I'd love to see some art of Raccoon City before the outbreak, you know?
Ohh that's a cool thought, it actually never came to my mind! A peaceful police station with the staff preparing the hallways for the festive season.... yet something seems of in the cellar hehe.
Something to listen on the way to work. Great job♥️
Starting with a calm mood like this will make it hard for a workday to rattle you.
Ahhh, horror game hospitals, what once was a place of healing and recovery has now become a place of death and finality...
When HOSpitals turn HOStile! Sorry that wasn't so funny^^
@@SurvivalSpheres Bro now I can see that one meme of the shocked guy looking at the camera. XD
@@lucasfraczek4320 Hahahaha!
This really helps me man. Keep up the good work.
All the best Malek, and stay focused!
idk man. Every song is pretty cool. Hopefully I don't accidentally binge all the previous ones, that would take a long time.
Take your time. The save room is always here waiting.
Good Vibe 👍
amazing but im still waiting for a RE4 remake style save theme or serinity revisit :)
I actually made a few such songs over the years, like covers or nods to RE4. Today's upload also leans a little bit into that direction. But a true revisit of Serenity...? To be honest: The thought alone scares me.
@@SurvivalSpheres 😂i understand but still looking forward to it one day 😊
Wow. Another nostalgic piece. Great work.
Have you seen the Echoes Of The Living game? I saw it on the ROE channel and it just gave me goosebumps how fans can make a game that mirrors the RE franchise we love.
No, I never heard of it! Will check it out right away. Thanks for the hint!
Of all the gorgeous ambience I've ever heard, this piece of music is unique in feeling, save for one. There's a bit of music called Pleasant Empire on the InFamous soundtrack.
The vibe contradicts the title somewhat. Because even though there's such a beautiful calm to it, there's also a deep sadness looming behind the scenes.
ua-cam.com/video/4Ia5Wr1uy6Y/v-deo.html
And speaking of scenes, the one you've created for this compliments the track so well.
Have to say though, when I glanced at the image, it reminded me of something else entirely, that being a frozen tundra, and a submarine's "tower" sticking up through the ice 😛
Nice one bud, thanks 😊
Oh yeah, what's that from in the description? It's like something that a Resident Evil or Silent Hill villain would say...
What a wonderful piece you music you've linked me to, once again! Will definitely check out the rest of that score.
And your idea about the tundra.... well... to be honest and strangely enough, I got a similar thought over time. I see an oil rig, isolated in the pack ice. We do tick somewhat the same, don't we?
The quote just came to mind, who knows where from.
@@SurvivalSpheres No problemo 😉
An oil rig stuck in the pack ice hey... well that sounds like another premise for a second Cold Fear game. Wonderful idea. It's nice to feel like we share a wavelength of thoughts aye, bud 🙂😊
It's a cool quote, dark and sinister too. "Six, seven, go to Hell or go to Heaven" 😅😆🙃
Woooooo first
we are not surprised
*No fair.*
Less than a day until the RE4R release. How curious are you?
In short I would say I am ‚okay curious‘. What about you?
@@SurvivalSpheres My review for it is ready, feel free to stop by if you want to see me play it!
When?
@@SurvivalSpheres Since it's technically 23rd I can say that it's today! Much earlier than my usual streams.
Would you rather live in Racoon City or Silent Hill?
I think I would try to find that forgotten, blind spot right between them, with both places quickly accessible.
@@SurvivalSpheres Perhaps a small farmhouse along a quiet river in the forest between.
