I just discovered your site and i'd no idea that so many cool relatively modern VSTs were sitting under my nose. super impressed and love the way you jump right into demonstrating them.
There's a vst called CLA Epic. It is a combo vst that allows running delay into a reverb or Vice Versa. Tapedelay 2 sounds just like it only it's much simpler to use. Thank you
I love your design philosophy and I love the fact that you've correctly modelled the change of delay time as if the tape speed has changed. Many ostensible tape delay emulations behave as if the tape head is moving rather than the tape speed is changing.
this is beyond amazing!!! love this plugin! some fancy company would try to sell you this for 100 bucks... you're a hero for letting people enjoy your plugins for free. much love!
This is a MUST HAVE Airwindows plugin, along with totape6 and various others. Feel free to list your other must haves :) Thank you Chris, you're a genius.
SRSLY2 is amazing on synths and guitars, Capacitor2 and BassDrive together make for an amazing EQ/sound treatment combo. Console7 and Console7Cascade with the channel/buss thing and their summing, and Channel9 - outrageous.
to me the flutter sounds more like a unique algorithm than say the flutter from a spae echo. There also is some digital noise/artifacts in some settings (long delays especially). Still I think it's a beautiful delay.
Retro Active FTW! Good stuff Chris.... Im doing a remix ATM , So close to finished, then you release this!! Back to the Mixingboard . ;) Bloody Brilliant.
hey everyone, i have a question hope y’all can help me out with that one.. I found a flanger plugin on the airwindows website, but it’s just for macos. I thought that every plugin is compatible with windows? or am i wrong with that? the same goes for some other plugins apparently.
Not really...his earlier plugins are made for Mac OS only, of which many have been made for windows afterwards. For that, you just have to wait until the windows version is made, or you can request about it.
Just my opinion, but SP1200, and it's filters, have been emulated by many other companies now. I think there are even free versions. I would love to see a filter based on the classic Akai samplers. I had one (3000 series) and the cutoff + resonance were amazing. The SP1200 by comparison was muddy and 12bit I believe. Also, no-one has made a decent emu of the TB-303 in software form. Again, just the resonant filter giving that liquid electric sound. I'd say you'd gain a lot of Patrons, and even tens of thousands in Gumroad dollars, if you made the Akai and TB-303 filters, IMHO. Amazing work on this plugin btw.
im wonering what yure doing with the EMu. Do you try to kinda convert this Analoge Technic into Digital emulation accuratly? Do you measure it to find out how to emulate it best? Or do you just use it as Soundreference and create an compleetly unrelated Algorythm actually... hmm. All i know it sounded good what you already relased, hadnt time to try your first X-Relases...
Thanks. Sounds really great. Have you thought about open-sourcing the interfaces/skins? I don't know anything about coding, but I mean fans could create some fancy interfaces & skins.
Chris, you're simply one of the coolest people on this earth
This is one of the best sounding delays I've ever heard. You're awesome Chris!

Just amazing,
Doing the Lord's work here, eh? Excellent showing... 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
What is the cpu usage for this?
Brilliant work. Some of your affects are great replacements for pricey plug ins
I could spend a day just with this effect. We have too little time on this earth...

i wonder how you match your tempo with a delay time control like this?
By ear!
Amazing!!!!
Siiiiiiiiiiick.
You're the man! How do I make a small donation to your cause?

This has replaced echoboy as my goto delay.
:)
