    I'm a girl from the 90's, (1996) and I love Ms Pac Man. I play all the time and have a decent high score. I've been playing since I was around nine and have always been in love with the game.

      What do you consider a "decent" score, Maria???For high speed Ms Pac Man I would say 500,000For slow speed Ms Pac man I would say 100,000

    I remember "Ms. Pac-Man" since I was a kid when I first saw it at a restaurant back in my Puerto Rico years. I first played this game and it was a lot of fun. I played them in movie theaters, theme parks, amusement parks, malls, campgrounds and lots more. This game was made around 1981, and it was a follow-up to the original "Pac-Man", the first one which was a classic, much better than the godawful Atari VCS/2600 version from 1981, the same year "Ms. Pac-Man" came out. Both of these games are tops. I was also at a Quick Stop not far from where I lived and I saw a "Ms. Pac-Man" game and it doesn't work anymore, because it was busted and never seem to plug it in. I wish it needs a full restoration. This has been stood in the arcades for a long time. There was also another arcade classic "Galaga" which was another classic space shooter from that same year 1981, A follow-up to the 1979 arcade hit "Galaxian". This game was first made by Namco, but it was later distributed by Midway to avoid the Namco name. It was part of Bally which was also a company that made pinball machines. The game is still a class by itself.

      Alex Ross Go to an arcade in New Jersey. They've got nothing but fast Ms. Pacman machines in their arcades! Your best bet is to go to Remember When pinball arcade in the boardwalk mall in Wildwood from May to the beginning of October. Just go downstairs and there's at least 3 Ms. Pacman machines all of which are fast! But if you go upstairs they've got 2 fast Ms. Pacman machines, both of which are on the opposite sides of each other even though they're on the same floor.

    I love the speed kit. I have always been looking for a home port that had the speed, and the sega genesis version had an option for speed.

  • @TheJeremyHolloway
    @TheJeremyHolloway 8 років тому

    Finally, a video with a Zoom kit mod installed. I'm having no luck finding pics of any of the arcade cabs with the button installed that was common to the units here in NorCal. It was a white square button that read "ZOOM" which was written inside jagged lines symbolizing an explosion. All I'm seeing online are basic round buttons to activate the mod and few actually have "Zoom" written on 'em. Back in the day, pressing that button, it seemed like it sped up Ms. Pac-Man & Co. to operating at the same speeds as Street Hawk or KITT's "Super Pursuit Mode". It was incredible. The "zoom" feature in Tengen's port of the game to the Genesis still doesn't compare [sadly]. As for ports of the game, I still consider the 7800 version best since GCC - the creators of Ms. Pac-Man did it. AtariAge has a homebrew port of Crazy Otto for the 7800; same with KC Munchkin.

    Mark - you forgot to mention that after level (board) 20 the ghosts do not change at all after eating a power pellet. They simply reverse direction. Same for Pac-Man.But then again you probably figured (as myself) that most people watching this and reading these comments couldn't make it past "The Chase". Most people I see at Barcade playing it can't even score 20,000 or make it past the 3rd board (orange). Pretty painful to watch if you ask me - and this is HIGH SPEED on EASY SETTINGS. My high is 679,550 but only 83,390 on normal speed (slow) settings on MAME.
