I love how tengen actually gave ms pac-man an ending while in the original arcade it just gives you the kill screen of glitches and then takes you back to the title screen some very nice details from tengen

32 levels versus 256, it's obvious they knew no one outside of the hardcore would try and get that far. Of course they likely could've fixed the killscreen for the home ports, but didn't bother going that far.
@@Bloodreign1they probably wouldn’t have know about the Kill screen because the original developer had to base his version of the game on just playing the Ms. Pac-Man arcade machine. The didn’t have access to any source code.
I love this game. Ms. Pac-Man is one of the best games I've ever played for 5 years straight.

Probably the closest we ever got to an accurate arcade port before the PlayStation came out. Still was wild to have this in the early 1990’s.
PS1 port wasn't quite accurate, the version on Namco Museum 50th Anniversary for all consoles (except the GBA version, though the mazes are accurate) and PC are pretty much arcade emulations, and are spot on. None of those use the speed boost found in the Tengen versions, and the US arcade version (the lone exception, the Ms. Pac-Man Galaga Class of 1981 cabs, where Ms. Pac-Man has no speed boost at all).

I feel like the SNES version is the version of Tengen Ms. Pac-Man for you if you want it to sound the most like the arcade, the NES version is the one for you if you want it to LOOK the most like the arcade, and then I'm not exactly sure who the Master System version is for in 2021.

Ms.Pac Man on SNES! Oh yeah! The reason why I like this version so much is that the sound effects and music are just like from the arcade version. And it's published Williams entertainment which I think it's a good thing. Maybe that's because at the time, Williams entertainment formally owned Midway.

Ms. Pac-Man on SNES was my most favorite port from the Arcade that the music is like the arcade I play this SNES Port a lot when I was a 16 year old teen since 2017

Ms. Pac-Man was on pretty much anything that could run it, now Namco no longer has the rights to her.
This is way better that the arcade; similar enough in graphics, gameplay, and sound. Then, all of the bonuses(continuing without quarters, starting at another level like 6, different game types, etc.) One of the best 25 games on the SNES that many overlook...THIS PLAYER IS UBERTALENTED! I AM MORE STREAKY; I AM ON OR OFF, BUT NEVER THIS GOOD!
I have this in real hardware. Excellent way to play the arcade, for sure. This is also on Genesis, too.
Ms. Pac-Man is pretty much everywhere, though in this day and age, Namco can't use her likeness, so I doubt we see any more consoles with her on them, unless Namco somehow acquires the Ms. Pac-Man property. AtGames is pretty much holding Ms. Pac-Man hostage, as they hold the rights currently.
I wish that those two specific versions of Ms Pac-Man were on the Switch's online service

Turn that around, the original Ms Pac Man had that sound waaaaaay back in the early 80's, long before Streets of Rage was even conceived.

If I had a Super Nintendo, Ms. Pac-Man would be my choice to get. I would also get Pac-Attack for the Super Nintendo as well.

Pinky will try to catch Ms. Pac-man by getting in front and ambush her.
Inky prefers to move randomly in a direction opposite of Ms. Pac-Man.
Clyde doesn't have a target- he just wanders around, doing his own thing.

Blinky targets the player constantly, trying to find the fastest route to said target.
Pinky targets 4 tiles ahead of the player, trying to cut them off from the front.
Inky targets based between a line of the player and Blinky, and then rotates the line 90°. Where that line ends is where Inky targets.
Like Blinky, Clyde targets the player, but when he gets close to the player, His target changes to go to the left bottom corner of the map until he exits the player's range.

Williams Entertainment? Those must be the people that ported DooM on the same console...
They only published it for SNES. The SNES Doom was developed by Sculptured Software, same developers of the SNES versions of Clue, Monopoly, and the Super Star Wars trilogy.
SNES version of Ms. Pac-Man was developed by Digital Eclipse, the developer known for developing arcade ports for Game Boy Color and collections of retro games for modern consoles.
I hope they put Ms Pac-Man on the Super Nintendo on the switch

They are pretty much the same.
Super Nintendo has slightly more arcade-accurate sound but from gameplay and graphics standpoint, they're identical.

what? looks like this port straight up uses the assets of the sega Genesis port.
the sound effects are almost arcade perfect, except for a few.
the fruit eating sound is passable, but the power pellet sound is a little cringe for me.
Sounds fine to me, the Genesis version actually uses assets from the NES Tengen release, but pretties the game up due to running on a more powerful console than the 8 bit NES. This port, is also based off that NES game.

The ending was lame tBh. Could have some screenplay.
Considering the original arcade game had a kill screen for an ending, this is a vast improvement. Don't expect some fancy ending for a game from 1981 ported to then modern consoles.
