Hello from the US. Scotland is by far the greatest place I have visited. I have never felt so "at home" or at peace anywhere else. I never wanted to leave. I anxiously await my next visit and hope to live there one day, even if for a short time.
Greetings from California , I've travel to so many different places in the world and Scotland is the greatest country I've ever been to ! Amazing and friendly people ! Great food and oh yea, the castles alone are worth going back to ! Loved the video and thanks for posting !
Greetings from Germany! I have to watch this for my English he but this is so fabulous... wow.. the nature, the lake, the Castel, the hills, the People who live there EVERYTHING THERE Is stunning- it’s amazing and watching this is so relaxing to me, adorable. ✨
I would absolutely love to visit Scotland. One of the attractions I'd like to see, and go on is the Falkirk Wheel. It's a magnificent piece of architecture.
I live in Falkirk and I'm absolutely amazed to see this comment, if you ever visit Scotland you will want to check out the highlands and take your pick of mostly any Loch's out here they're all pretty sweet, personally one of my favourite locations in Scotland is Finnich Glen it's certainly one of the more unique places to venture into I encourage you to look into that! Living in Falkirk seems to devalue the Falkirk wheel and the Kelpies for me, they're just a stones throw away so I don't seem to appreciate them as much as people who have to travel to see them! If you're really interested in it though the second video at the top of my channel is based around all the Falkirk landmarks if you want to check that out, a lot of people said things along the lines of... "it makes Falkirk look good" which is local humour because we know what it's really like to live here!
John Huddleston........you could also see Capt Scots famous Discovery ship in Dundee or the brand new V&A museum opened this month in Dundee (right next to Discovery. ua-cam.com/video/MHDeWNd11Qw/v-deo.html
keith donald........ive been to Aberdeen twice in my life and could see no reason to return.........i found it a dull grey miserable place with not much going for it.........luckily the oil industry brought it some wealth but other than that i found nothing to wish me to go back.
glenzboyz Scotland looks amazing my dad was originally from cumbernauld but has lived in England with us now 11 or 12 years he's the bestest dad I have
This is a beautifully put together piece of film but my No1 priority when thinking of Scotland is Port of Ness,at the northern tip of the Isle of Lewis. One of the most magical places on this planet.
Nice clip. I appreciate a top 10/is tough, but soooo many beautiful places should have been before the coach trip. Whale watching off the North East coast of Scotland is amazing.
There's also a bridge to Skye now, and it's best to rent a car as then you can stop whenever you like to take photos or just take in the scenery. Plenty of books or online info on where to see.
Yep the borders is a great area. Its good to see my area being promoted. You shoyuld have mentioned the haining, just outside of Selkirk. But it was good to mention abbortsford house and show thevtrhree brethren and Floors Castle at 0:58
Stephen McDowall ummmm, Ayr is a shitehole. Arran is class, I have a couple cousins live there, but nae Ayrshire. Ayr and Kilmarnock are glorified council estates n the rest of the west coast uptae Largs is generally somewhere tae avoid
Some of the Scots who are shamed of being a Scot travel abroad and I’m like “ SCOTLAND IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD” there like “ no it’s not it’s a f****** horrible place to be😂😂 it’s just an Amzing country to be in. I’m proud to call myself Scottish
Fk that. I've spent my whole life wondering why my mother never travelled somewhere warmer to give birth to me. Now i'm too skint and scared to move. Lifes a bitch
I'd change the boarder walk to a walk around Sterling Castle, William Wallace memorial and the battle ground. If your ancient Scottish (like me). Go stand at the battlefield where your family once stood, as its very moving (family names are on a plaque).
Crypto Chef depends what you're looking for bud,but if you move up from the home counties and have a spare bit of bunce,I'd suggest somewhere like Callander.it's in the central belt, you're between Edinburgh,Glasgow,Perth and Dundee. Not far from Stirling. It's quaint, scenic, not too big.an hour and a half from the borders and same to the highlands, and some beautiful houses for 40% of what they'd cost where you are.lovely part of the world, and the weather isn't as severe as it can be further north.
As yet some maybe very lucky to get around, if you could afford it. I have not been anyhere around the county at all but sadly its too expensive to get by. I hope Scotland will be indepenance soon because its best European country at heart (at keast good and bad guys)....St. Andrews,Perth, Strling,Kinlochewe are best places should not be missed (last time i was there way back in 90s, when it was cheaper) besides its a good video, i should say.
Then do it!!!!!!!! The problem with visiting Scotland is that you won't want to leave.... Eventually you'll want to live here permanently.... This video lovely but there are a thousand and one places that will blow your mind... Get here soon - it's good for the soul.
I haven't visit a WWinterm festival yet, did not sit in a coach and didn't enter Edinburgh castle ( to deer) but at the end my ashes and those from my Dogg will be scattered in the Glencoe and my family have to get a wee bit drunk. So i guess that will make up for the rest.
Tony Corcoran .......Lol - stirling castle is fake.........there is not one piece of antique in there as most are reproductions if you find anything.........everything is fake except the exterior...........edinburgh is exceptional compared to stirling
Anyone that gos to Scotland Here I Recomend Going to The Kelpies Its amazing espically when u get to Drive past them at night Every christmas Eve my family goes to Edinburgh for the day its always so fun! If Everything is back to normal I will get to go this year I couldnt go lasy year because my SteoDad was in hospital
Hi thanks. May/June is a great time, weather is nice and everywhere is not too busy. You ask how long? The answer is once you come, you will never want to leave!!

I would absolutely love to visit Scotland. One of the attractions I'd like to see, and go on is the Falkirk Wheel. It's a magnificent piece of architecture.
John Huddleston I used to see it every morning out my window. Fantastic feat of engineering

Cheers!
I miss Scotland. Lived in Glasgow for 5+ years, was really good.
I am in love with this country!

This is a beautifully put together piece of film but my No1 priority when thinking of Scotland is Port of Ness,at the northern tip of the Isle of Lewis. One of the most magical places on this planet.

@@isla9610 Why say England? You could have mentioned hundreds of countries.
The problem is; we are ruled by a foreign country which makes it a permanent fight to keep our culture and way of life.
Very beautiful thank you. .

Lovely vid! I've done 8 out of 10 so far :) not bad LOL (borders and dram, and these two I would exchange for something else)
English lad from the home counties on a quest to move to Scotland. Been enchanted by it since my last visit.
