Worried you where gunna loose your handy , microfibre cloth so close to lathe chuck. Glue or wrap around a stick. Sticks cost nothing compared to a hand. Or fingers 👍🖖🍺 only caring dude. Bike and branding tool turned out good.
Could you please show the links to all the electric parts you used to build this bike. I'm currently without transportation and can't afford a vehicle but could spare a few hundred bucks building something like this. What speed control module and speed controller did you use? What voltage of batter and amperage did you use? Please let me know. That k you.

The unique problem I see with that tire is it'll have traction on the outsides but not middle of the tire. It might make for weird handling and it'd be better it used a mid mounted motor with a chain to drive that rear tire.

Also consider the inward forces on the rigid bike rims if you hit/ran over something in the middle of the back tire.

i doubt ur level of perfectionism, because while the build is great yes. One crucial factor is irritating tho the front tire to back tire size! NEEDS TWO CAR TIRES PLZ MAKE IT :) great video man!

I mean, it isn't NEGATIVE either, but it isn't positive in the slightest, because, it doesn't CONTRIBUTE anything to ANYTHING or ANYONE.
For example:
Does it IMPROVE on the bicycle?
No, in fact, it takes away the ability to LEAN into a turn, making this a more UNSTABLE version of a bicycle.
Does it make electric bikes more affordable?
No, in fact, a tire like that would be quite expensive because it is not only a very large diameter SPORT PERFORMANCE TIRE MEANT FOR A CAR, but ANY car tire is substantially more money than a bike tire. And you now have TWO bicycle wheels, a heavier axle, and the maintenance headaches of a custom design - IF he took this to patent/production.
But he isn't even doing that. He is making it solely for VIEWS.
Which leads to my final point:
Much like the many bogus "five minute crafts," or "life hack" videos on social media, THIS is solely done to LOOK clever enough for VIEWS but neither works in practical application for mass production NOR was ever intended to fill a genuine market's needs.
It is purely for the entertainment purposes (for couch potatoes, like you) and monetization/views (for the uploader).
It is DIY goofing around PUBLICLY POSTED to a bunch of strangers - meaning it is 100% open to ANY and all valid criticism of its use, purpose, and flawed functionalities.
In other words, the only ones hating, are mindless fanboy slumdogs - like yourself.
P.S. try coming at me when you OR this guy have done ANYTHING that ACTUALLY contributes to:
Community
Country
Society
Humanity
The sciences
Consumer needs
Or something altruistic, like:
Helping the homeless,
Feeding the hungry,

You realize that’s not welding right? Putting tack welds over and over makes metal about 8 times weaker then an actual bead, clean metal and run a bead across. Tack weld are made to hold metal in place while you weld it not actually hold the parts together

I allways wished I had access to tools and was taught to use them. I know basic stuff like how to cut with a torch but when it comes to contact welding and stuff like that I would love to learn. Be able to play around with metal like this.
Pretty cool indeed. The rear tire setup is slick, my question is does it require use of a specific profile of bicycle tire to work and if so what type?. I love the look of this and think it could be expanded upon to be even more fun and would really like to make a similar unit with my twists on it.

Gonna potentially build one myself not the frame that's way beyond me but on a chopper frame x2 1500w hub motors with maybe a 750 mid drive and 750 front hub

Funny I used 2 Milwaukee batteries for my electric bike also. A little surprised you went with a fwd tho. I'd like to see how that handles. Nice vid. I especially like the part where you kicked the seat off of the chair and slapped it down on the bike.
Fwd are okay. They pull you along rather than push. I have two 52v mountain bike ebikes I converted using a mid drive motor. I prefer the mid drive rather than the hub drive.
How long do your Milwaukee batteries last per charge in that use?
That pedal-less battery cycle is awesome. Followed the Mech build, but electrics aren’t my jam. Is there a build plan or wiring diagram we could get from you guys?

I'd like to see what you would do to patch up worn through hollow core boot soles to get another year out of them for wearing around camp, creeks, trails, etc.
Masking tape the bottom then fill with silicone from top. Go slow otherwise it will get messy

If you consider a part 2 or version 2, could you use 2 motorized wheels in the rear? Same setup with a BIGGER battery.
Very little clearance for the rear wheel to deform, the good thing is that instead of aluminum it looks like steel was basis for the frame which would make it stronger and easier to weld. Without any peddles and gearing it's only really usable on fairly flat paved surfaces.

Cool build just think about 2 motors in the back or one it just seems weird being front wheel drive still cool though
He might be able to create a clutch system that he can operate from the handlebars to open and close the circuit while still being able to keep batteries close to the motors in the back that way he'd lose as little power as possible (if that was his worry). I was thinking the same thing tho watching it. That and some suspensions for that beast. Still nice.

Wow So going to use that improvised rear wheel idea for my reverse recumbent EV trike build. am also thinking of going with duel side by side front wheel sets for added strength as I want it to become a Velo mobile with totally enclosed cab, front & rear cargo compartments & as I'm not getting younger I will build it as a EV. great video & idea boss keep them coming!

it's almost painful to see the complete waste of material, time and effort on the logo brand...hundreds of ways to do that much easier and much higher quality than that. but i really like the bike build thats pretty neat.

I don't understand why everybody stitch wields on UA-cam. Stitch welding is not as strong as a solid bead The only thing the stitch welding does for you is make it look good but that shouldn't be the important part

1 - Использование тряпочных, медицинских, резиновых или каких-либо других перчаток категорически запрещено, потому что есть вероятность наматывания материала на вращающиеся элементы станка.
2 - Ни в коем случае не используйте для резки алюминия универсальный резак. Технически он будет работать, но алюминий совершенно отличается от стали. Испортите инструмент и не добьетесь необходимой чистоты заготовки
