Making Custom Trike 250cc

  • To build this trike, I used 10-inch road wheels from a Suzuki Ltz 400 quad bike. The engine is 250cc, a similar engine I used when building the first trike.
    The low weight and 250cc capacity make the trike have quite nice performance, it is great for fun, but also for everyday driving.

    What a dream! Actually, you're living the dream (meaning you built a great life for you and your family)! In 5 years of your channel your fabrication and video editing skills have went through the roof! I could not imagine a more professionally-made project, simply outstanding. Thank you for continuing to share your genius with us!!!!

    What an awesome little build . Great results aswel. The thing I like the most is you show enough fabrication to show how its built but not too much to bore us . The assembly is perfect all hidden extras done and dusted . Reminds me of the old Honda big red trike with the big front wheel . Thanks

    Very nice project, even though a 3 wheeler is the most unstable dangerous ATV out there! LOL! I love the no nonsense build. You did a fantastic job, thank you.

    Great design, it sits low enough that it doesn't look like it will have the tipping issue that the now banned ATV trikes had. I have a pair of salvaged Ninja 250r bikes that I will use in a similar build but will convert to a rear end like yours. I actually have one LTZ400 quad to use as the rear end, although I will probably adapt the Ninja swingarm to use for rear suspension. Right after I build about a half dozen of your DIY metal working tools.

    Rzeczywiście ironia na siebie i nie ukrywanie swoich błędów w imię pięknego zdjęcia jest moim zdaniem oznaką samowystarczalności, odwagi i hartu ducha. Najwyższy czas, aby wielu wyszło z cienia i pokazało twarz, aby rozmyć suchą prezentację informacji, ale niewielu to daje. Oglądam Twoje filmy już od dawna, ale teraz są naprawdę fajne.

    • @WorkshopFromScratch
      @WorkshopFromScratch  7 місяців тому

      At the beginning, I would buy an angle grinder, a drill and a welder, if my budget allowed it would a MIG/MAG. If I had a small budget, I would first build a metal cutter or a stand for an angle grinder, the same with a drill, or I would buy a small bench drill from the supermarket, or I would build, If I collected the tools and machines I mentioned earlier, I would build a belt sander, great machine :)

      Thank you 😁 At this speed there is no problem with cornering, I tested it, it seems even at higher speeds. But in this type of vehicle, the driver must lean to the side, and if the driver does nothing, the vehicle will tip over even at a speed of 30 km/h

    С большой любовью и знанием дела проведена видеосъёмка и монтаж.Плюс
    ещё нет навязанного звука , как правило совершенно лишнего.
    У меня вопрос только один :
    чем объясняется выбор именно такой ширины колёс в данной конструкции ?
    Может делался какой то расчёт или хотя бы анализ с аргументацией ?
    Спасибо.Посмотрел с большим удовольствием.

    Love your work but here's a tip that will save you having to grind the dags off your bench after each job. Buy a can of the cheapest canola spray and spray your bench before you start. Afterwards you can just sweep the dross off the bench and if the bench gets messy after a few uses just give it a wipe down with some mentholated spirits on a rag. You will have less grinding dust in the air and in your shop with the added bonus that when you weld it smells like you are cooking something.
