Of course I had dropped three liquid LSD drinched sweettarts and was peaking as this song came about. Fuck me. It was utterly beautiful and mesmerizing. And Maynard was half blue and half white with white boxers and using two mics right out front center. He was leading that crowd and had us all hanging on every lyric. It was magical.

My first concert was during the 1996 ænima tour. I was a 15yr old 5'2 girl going with my big sis, got way intimidated by how tiny we were in a sea of excited bodies but spent the entire evening encircled by a leather clad gang of Bikers, protecting us from the heaving crowd because they could see we weren't quite brave enough to hold space. And they got emotional too with Maynard's voice. The best scene, the best core memory in my life.

I don't know. Prison Sex is pretty angry. So is Swamp Song. There's also Hush, which is pretty aggressive.

I’d say errrrrr hush or Hooker with a pongus, or aenema are the angrier songs

I remember on a particularly hard day in 2020 sitting in my parked car and blasting this on repeat. I get so better afterwards. I’ve always loved this song for the lyrics, but now they are just so current!

I FEEL YA!!!! You have to see them live! I saw them last night in Eugene Oregon, row 12 center floor. Dude, I've see many outstanding bands in my 62 years, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Led Zep, Robin Trower, YES, Ozzy, ad infinitum but, WOW!!! Goosebumps and awe the entire show!!!! One of only a handful of shows where a recording, even through the best headphones, do not come near the live performance. I truly cannot express how impressive they are live. Their sound quality, production, animations and light show, and absolutely amazing tight performances are experience you can't miss. The only comparable to them in any, and all, of those attributes in my experience are Pink Floyd and YES.

This album is my favorite of Tool’s and this song my favorite of the album, since I first heard it at the age of 14 in ‘96. Brutal jam. I still need to get to Arizona before California is flushed away.

greatest experience ever was seeing these guys at the tweeter center in camden nj back during the 10000 days tour. it was cloudy as hell all day, and started raining a few measures before the praying for rain line and I was out in the Field. Fantastic. Maynard definitely summoned that shit!
