This is cool! It reminds me of Arrow Flash, one of my favorite shooters on the Genesis.
Definitely Thunder Force and Arrow Flash inspired. Im gonna buy the full version whenever it drops :)

Interesting shooter, it has nice graphics and music (though I'm not entirelly conviced by the main weapon sound). It really captures the 90s arcade port feeling, I'm looking forward for this. 🙂👍🏻
Literally EXACTLY what I was gonna say. If they used GEMS for both the music and the sound FX, they got great sound out of it for the music, and not so great sound for the FX. It actually sounds like someone mashing controller.
Thats if this is actually being developed on the mega drive.

@@Holothurion yeah. I'd have to turn the sound off while playing which would be a shame because of how absolutely fantastic the music is. I usually only notice music when it's bad. If it's doing its job, it should be so seamless that I barely know it's there, but in this case it's definitely doing its job, but I also can't help but notice the quality. I think it's because it uses an unusual note progression with unresolved notes that resolve at the end of the phrase, within the same scale, which creates tension while quickly providing relief, but regardless of why, it's good.

The shooting sounds are the most satisfactory ever heard.

Nice. What's the status of this game? Will this be a special physical release? I know I'm supposed to read the description but got so excited watching the gameplay that I had to ask.
According to the developers website, the game does not have a planned release date.
Not sure where my last reply went, but apparently this game is due for a physical release by Megacat Studios - the folks that released Coffee Crisis and Tanzer.
Sooner the better, can't wait for this !!

The pronunciation of Irena is sounding different as how it’s written in Japanese in the title screen.
In Portuguese it's the same pronunciation

The digit voices are awesome.
I ADORE this already! The music bops,the flow is energetic,it's full with enemies and obstacles but it's fair. Graphics are also nice except for the 'GUN' weapon,it goes so fast that it doesn't look good in the eye,like i can't see it move completely? I don't know how to explain it but it doesn't feel natural to me (and the boss explosion is a bit too small) Aside from that,i'm excited to play this when it comes out!

Hi, can the music be more ' metal '? The game itself looks amazing.
This ressembles kinda a mix between Zero Wing and Earth Defense Force. But enhanced. I hope this is a straight Mega Drive 16 bit cartridge and won't require a Neo Geo AES insise the cartridge with dozens of chips like Paprium.

There's a second demo with a second stage. Not entirely sure if it's backer exclusive or if it gone public. If it can be found, It would make for good content.
