@GoogieToons Absolutely love the updated Dracula sprites and level design and theming. Excellent job, looking forward to playing it myself to have a fresh take on the game.
Saw this one on a other good channel as well - Fatalvision with Scary Jersey Guy. This looks like a great hack. This channel is a great resource as well! Thanks for all you share!
Completely agree! My brother and I would always skip Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (not being big fans of rpg / metroidvania styled games). Funny thing though is our father would always play the nes Final Fantasy games / Legend of Zelda games (up to TLoZ: OoT N64). Now all he plays is World of Tanks.. never in my life did I ever think our father would play a game online let alone play any 3D games! Anyways.. this is a definite download / replacement on the Batocera line-up!.. going to rename Simon's Quest 2.5 😉
Simon's Quest is more than fine here, apart from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night?! It will always be my favourite C.V. here!! I like it that much that I still have the Tiger Electronics LCD version as well. Nothing can beat out Simon's Quest musical/graphical and lastly cryptic score....
Esto está buenísimo igual que la de nds cuando tenga una compañía de internet que no le interesa que haga con mis aparatos pues le doy y a disfrutar tremenda joya
Yeah I noticed that too, they seemed to add something like in Metroid where the jump height is dependent on how long you hold the button. Definitely takes some getting used to.
The thing.-- one of the many things I don't like about the show is the near tokusatsu -like outfits they have Belmonts wearing. The "family crest" plastered on the back makes me think they took too much inspiration from the Devil Forge Master outfit, which was a uniform, and near did likewise.
What's up? Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for showing off my hack. 👊😎
The sprite and tile work you did is amazing.
It looks fuckin sweet, dude. 43 years old here, looking forward to playing when I have time later.

It's always a good day when a new Googie hack drops.
Clever girl
This channel deserves way more views. Keep up the great videos.🙏🙏
I love the original C.V. 2 but I am intrigued by this!
Even the super long text screen reminding you without interruption that it was a horrible night to have a curse?
This one is definitely a keeper
NES never die! Thank you sou much fan hackers around the world .

Love how the hack's concept art has an edited version of Netflix Richter
Enhancing the graphics on here great job.
Looks wonderful, gratz!
Much more unpredictable enemies on this.
Very great work
Yay.. good Homage to Hellsing..about the infested village and 1 vampire lord on the control...
Wow. I had never done a rom hack until I found this video tonight. Just finished the game. Any other Castlevania ones you'd recommend?
Only 10 seconds in and I wanna play it
Awesome, Googie. Could you refit score, player, and enemy on the HUD? Just doesn’t look right.
Fascinante.....
Why get rid of the exploration? That was the best part.
Where can I aquire this??
Castlevania Symphony of the night
❤top rodi
The earlier half seemed more innovative, pretty cool though.
the difficulty seems pretty reasonable, what are your thoughts on this one
kinda wish the weapons like the knife/dagger and stopwatch where more useful in these hacks.
This is what CastleVania 2 - Simon's Quest should have always been, but never was.
Completely agree!

And as a big fan of RPG and metroidvania games, I completely disagree. Castlevania 2 is good as it is.
@@PuffZombie Same here. Simon's Quest is one of my favorite games of all time.

Nope. Castlevania 2 is perfect as is.

Why is the jumping so broken? It's almost impossible to hit any candles.

@@zanegandini5350 That's a really dumb idea, totally breaks the flow of what is otherwise an incredible hack.
i want to rom download no patch. I can't patch
Музыка классная
