I finally got hold of support Ridiculously, the DJI android app does not work on pixel phones. Pixel is a leading android phone. DJI advised me to buy a different phone. What a joke.

I have been flying successfully for a few months but last week after the geofencing update nothing is right. Same problem here phone and spark fine, RC and phone fine but no matter what I do the RC will no longer connect with spark. 1 day off work a week now second weekof fighting this and I can't fly, very upsetting.
2bsure i have not use my drone for months, today tried to fly it, did the geofencing update and have the same problem, it says no internet connection and no matter what and many things i have tried the rc wont simply connect to drone. @@cheluto2 Finally got mine to work, first problem was the remote checks WiFi when first turned on and if the 2.4 Ghz band looks busy it automatically switches to 5 Ghz so I had to get a better phone that had dual band WiFi in order to connect with it on 5 Ghz WiFi. The constant beeping was because the throttle was stuck part way up and couldn't be zeroed due to a loose screw stuck under it! When I tried calibrating the sticks using the phone it couldn't calibrate the throttle. I took the unit apart to see what was wrong and found a small black steel screw like they used to put it together stuck under the stick. There were no screws missing inside the unit so that one must have been extra which doesn't say any good things about DJI quality control!
hi, why I am not able to fly with my DJI spark remote control. DJI spark and remote is linked and I m able to click pic and video with remote but not able to take off or land with remote, with phone apps work fine. My phone is a LG G35, it works great with my mavic pro. My main problem is that I cannot even get the controller to flash green to initiate the linking process, it just remains with the red led flashing and never the louder frequent beep, just a single quieter beep after holding the 3 buttons during linking process

Just did a firmware up date, on my brand new spark. Haven't been able to fly it yet, got it 4 days ago.. During the update , the wifi from the rc failed, and haulted the down load. Not the remote won't link to the drone, and the rc wifi is no longer visible on my phone. I've tried all the fixes, no luck. Pretty disappointed in the whole setup. Sorry, had to vent a little.

Brand new spark, trouble shooting time, 6-7 hours, flying time 0... Can't return it to the ebay site, which claim they are an authorized dji dealer, without a 20% restocking fee and pay for shipping. Or send a brand new unit in for service before it's even been used. I wish i would have read a few more forums before i bought this.

Followed the instruction to the letter, this piece of sh*t is still refusing to connect with the RC. and after the update it requires a calibration before every flight. DJI really shat the bed with the phone- RC- drone connection. fails more times then connects.

Yeah this model is no longer supported by planned obsolescence aka the DJI apps. I've flown it once due to incompatible locations. Worst investment ever.
@@DJISupportGlobal I've tried to fly it with samsung galaxy s5 and two huawei phones; with and without the remote. I flew it once. The app won't support the drone and/or work on my phone anymore. Various apps: dji go 4, dji fly, dji pilot. Nothing but problems for 3 years.

Either the location disables takeoff or when I'm not in the location, the OS won't support the app, or the app no longer supports the spark. If it's not one thing, it's another!

I had to stop and pause several times to figure out what they were doing but it worked great.
