Great work on that 23 1/2, beautiful fish
NICE CATCH BRO! Never see u at lake shen anynore!
Thank you! I moved and now live near Lynchburg, VA. How’s the fishing up there been??
My man just out here casually catching lifetime fish. That's why your boy subscribed
Thank you, Tim! I subscribed to your channel as well. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@FullTimeFishing truly my pleasure man. This is my first comment but I've watched several of your videos. Truly enjoyable.
Great job! What a beast! Don't see many that size here in Pennsylvania.
I hear you! Just have to find the lakes where the bigs live. That or chase some giant smallies. Thanks for watching!
What a first catch! Man if I caught a 7lber I would lose it lol. The fact that it’s normal for you is wild. You’re a great angler. Great job.
Thank you! Sometimes I do lose it, just depends on the day haha. You’re going to get your 7lber one day just keep grinding and be sure to fish ponds/lakes where you know the giants live! Thank you for the compliment and thanks for watching. Maybe you can come down and stay one day this summer and we will hit this lake 👀
@@FullTimeFishing That would be awesome. I would love to do that. Maybe then I can catch a 7lber.
I’m finally getting a kayak. Got to get to some of these fish. Awesome video
That’s awesome man!! Any idea what kayak your looking at?
Starting with a Lifetime Kenai 103 10ft. Have to convert it to a fishing kayak. I think it will be a good starter.
@@riverratfishing Nice! Idk if you’ve purchased yet but I highly recommend looking at a bonafide rs117. A little more expensive, but I have 3 for the river and my friend purchased one and loves it.
Man I’m just getting into bass fishing as I do A LOT of trout fishing. But that was badass! I’ve caught a few decent ones but nothing even close to that!! Just got my first basic fishing kayak too so super excited to get on the water!
That’s awesome! I love bass fishing. Super active and fun. What kind of lures have you been throwing?
@@FullTimeFishing yea bass fishing is a totally different world lol. I’ve had my best luck with crank baits and surprising to me 2.5-3” gulp minnows on a jig head! I’ve been doing a lot of research and have started expanding to some spinners and frogs with no luck yet. I work on the water at SML, VA and have been fishing there mostly for bass.
Fished for about five hours today before thunderstorms… caught 5 or so… I wish I had your determination to figure out what they’re biting on… nice video as always 💪
Nice work! The pre-frontal bite is usually pretty good. It does take some work to figure it out but it’s worth it once you do! Thank you for watching and commenting!
awsome catch and awsome vid👌👌
Thank you, Chase! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
I'm actually a firm believer in a MH or Heavy Moderate fast rod for frogging. I find too stiff of a rod reduces the amount of fish I actually land. My favorite so far is a Dobyns Sierra Heavy Fast (Fishes like a stiff Medium Heavy Mod Fast). I can use it for frogs, whopper ploppers, poppers and buzzbaits.
That’s great advice! I started with an extra heavy and it was terrible. Went to a heavy and it was not bad but still not the best. Trying the MH this year to see how I like it. The frog and horny toad are the 2 worst hookup ratio lures for me so trying to address that this year.
Awesome video
Thank you for the compliment! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
good stuff
Thank you! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
Came here from fish brain. I’m fishing out at briery tomorrow. Is the location you marked on fishbrain accurate? I can respect if you don’t want to give up your spot. Going to subscribe for sure I appreciate seeing the local waters fished!
It is not but a lot of people do like that part of the lake. Good luck out there! Let me know how you do!
@@FullTimeFishingdidn’t hit it today. The guys wanted to fish sandy river. Only good bite was in the am before the heat got intense
@@sethroberts192 that’s one place I need to fish more. Just like the fact that the trees keep the bigger boats out at Briary haha.
@@FullTimeFishing it’s was flooded with boats yesterday. Same reason I don’t like chesdin
