This was amazingly well put together, pretty much what I was imagining when that scene aired - the T2 Soundtrack made it perfect!

I love that quote by Derek Reese where he says to Private Pyle: "The game Pyle...the game is played with your buddy's life. With the life of your squad, your platoon. The game is played by you! On behalf of the whole damn human race!" I actually think that was the greatest line of the entire series. It epitomizes the theme of terminator, the life and death struggle between man and machine. Personally I think that quote and soundbite should have been used in the opening credits for a new terminator tv series based in the future. Perhaps the animated version Netflix is apparently working on. And if they don't end up using it, I'm almost tempted myself to risk copy-rite infringement and rip off part of that brilliant quote and in my own science fiction novel I'm working on. It's that good.
Whoever made this video deserves a lot of credit. It just goes to show how in most cases it's the fans that have the best ideas and the best vision of what a series, movie, or game could be. I bet if the studio that owns the rights to the terminator franchise made a Terminator themed call of duty style game set in the future it would be awesome beyond words. "the game is played with your buddy's life. With the life of your squad, your platoon. The game is played by you! On behalf of the whole damn human race!" Just imagine a trailer with those words mixed in with battle scenes from the game just like the video. I bet it would break records for a video game because it captures the them of the game so damn well. They could even use the phrase "It's not just a game" in advertisements. I'm telling you, it would work.

Poorly edited, but gotta love that T2 soundtrack with the cutscenes. The scenes of gameplay are too reminding that it is a game, simply because of the finicky framerate. Render the gameplay scenes at 24 frames next time and then edit them in.
Otherwise badass. 💪
it was getting too popular. i'm pretty sure there as a spike in tv rating when the show came on. and i guess people wern't watching the other shows. i know wasn't...

And you had to ruin the entire scene with the music.
Normally I would agree when it comes to pasting music over video but in this case...It really works well. Too well. Now I almost feel disappointed in the direction the franchise took when it could have been so so much better.
