- I decided to see how it would have looked like if the eye had looked blue instead of red. Why blue at all? In the pilot she backlighed her eyes for a moment in blue and her HUD is tinted blue whenever we are shown her POV so it would make sense that her eyes glow blue. Many people already see this problem as a continuity error that was made in a rush. Hopefully it's interesting. Until next time, bye.

I read an interview or something that said they made her eye red in this episode on purpose. The reason they gave was because in "Sampson & Delilah," Cameron is never actually reprogrammed (which must have made her eyes blue), she just overcomes that command (makes sense since she started acting glitchy after that). I think this is the first time they show her eyes since that episode, so it could be that.
Still, I personally really like the "blue eyes" version better.
It's funny. Arnold's eyes never changed from red to blue when he got reprogrammed in T2 T3 and T5.
@@danielwilliamson6180 My guess is that Model 101s or early T-800s doesn't have color switching, but T-889Fs do

Cameron is a precursor to the T-900s and T-X. She also can see in color, which might also have something to do with it. Technically other Terminators can see in color well, but prefer not to because in lore, it's supposed to be inefficient.

Very well done with the cosmetic switch.
Though I think, with this, you can see why they changed it. Red is simply a much more threatening color, and Cameron had to look scary for the scene.
I'm guessing Cameron has the option of changing her eye-color. Blue, for when she's trying to appear non-threatening to someone, and red when she's in full-on Terminator mode.

I expected a quick hack job going in, but if I'd never seen the original broadcast, I would never have known this was done by a fan. Very VERY good job. :)
Catherine Weaver and John Henry are resisting Skynet. The T1001 series had become self aware apart from Skynet. They wanted Cameron to join them in fighting Skynet
That was a good twist about Catherine Weaver. She was sent back to build a computer to fight Skynet. She's on our side.

Future plot lines would have likely been (my guess) John trying to use the future biotech knowledge the machines have to cure Sarah of cancer
Weaver being the anti skynet that helps bring down real skynet only to later feel so betrayed by the humans that she herself likely would have built skynet 2.0 having developed human emotions like jealousy and anger
Also Sarah would have likely died of cancer in the end eventually from a relapse or something with John having to finally become his own leader.

@@leonardeuler9592 I like the idea actually. A third party - "A machines who have their own free will and personality", but they are nor human servants nor Skynet servants. They are just on their own. And neutral to humans.
I agree, it would make sense for the human-allied terminators to have SOME distinction to them. I thought the blue-eyes idea was pretty cool, and it still makes sense even if Cameron still has her old "hard-wired" codes since she did consciously override them to continue protecting John.
Personally I like the classic red eyes. It gives a much more sinister look that I think befits a terminator. And if I’m remembering correctly I don’t think Arnold Terminator(from T2) had blue eyes even though he is a reprogrammed terminator, so why should Cameron? But that’s just my opinion.

First, that was a damn good job! I agree it may have been that her glitching had something to do with it being red, but that's something that could be explained later. Good work on this video.
blue has to be activated as it is software, red is how it naturally is oem
bench261 I remember Josh Friedman actually explaining why Cameron's eye is red on one of the extras, but I can't recall the specifics as it's been a few years.

I heard somewhere that the idea was "her Resistance reprogramming makes for blue stylisation, but the hardware - the physical eyes in her skull - are still red", playing into the idea throughout the series that Cameron is literally a killing machine.
Very nicely done. In the special feature on the dvd they have a reference picture of cameron with blue eyes with that makeup. I wonder why they changed it. Anyway, great job!!!
I don't think that's it at all. Cromartie's dead. His chip was destroyed. Cameron was talking to John Henry. The question was a deliberate connection to the question asked to the machine (Weaver?) in "Today is the Day" and what Ellison was told to ask Cameron in the hotel.
We'll never know what he was referencing exactly or asking Cameron.
I thought about the same thing when I saw a red colour. To be honest I find red colour better. Maybe they tried blue and said that it's not as good as red, who knows.

really good job taas007. It should have been blue!!!!! red looks more evil and scary, but cameron's eyes are blue. did they really think us fans wouldn't be going bonkers over this??? the DVD set should correct this bonehead move...

Great video. I made a similar one, but mine was shorter. For consistency's sake, I really wish that they would have made her eye blue in the actual episode! Maybe when the DVD / Blu-Ray comes out they'll fix it, but even if they don't hopefully someone can put out a high-quality rip of the episode where her eyes are blue.
Well John wasn't born yet when his father got killed so there is no way to associate Arnold with the death of his father. As for Arnold having red eyes in the first movie I don't really count that since in T1 there wasn't a scene with half his face showing like there was in T2. Since TSCC likes to pay homage to T2 like with Cameron's imitation of Robert Patrick, I really think this scene is supposed to mimic Arnold's appearance at the end of T2.

I think that red actually looks less menacing. Arnold in T2 had red eyes. When I see blue eyes i think of the T-X which was a bad guy.
No offense pal, but give a fan a break. That's why it's a fan vid. It's made to express love for the show. Also it deals with time travel in which story continuity can change and does. If you watch the show, you know that her eyes were originally established to BE blue, along with the fact that she is a special model. The fact that they're red in the finale is the strange part & likely has an explanation, along with the other cliffhangers we were shown.
