It has come to my attention, I swapped Ivo and Gerald's names in the video. Ivo is actually Eggman while Gerald is his Grandfather's

Sonic Adventure 2 battle is a perfectly example of a flawed gem. There are many things it doesn't do right, but it what it does do right it does so well that it makes the flaws look like just a style rather then a real issue. And it also knows what is most important to get right.
SA2 just jas flaws, if its a form of style then why is 06 and heroes getting hate, id argue SA2 does everything worse then other sonic games, id rather play the boost era then this overrated mess of a game
In What world Does Adventure 2 do everything worse than other sonic games? And honestly boost Era Sonic is good besides Forces. And Heroes & 06 get shit because they're buggy beyond all hell.
@@GamexHunter10 Sonic Adventure 2 is peak sonic in my opinion. Because like I mentioned before. They manage to do things in such a way that the flaws it does have feel more like a style of the game.
@@GamexHunter10 literally every issue SA2 other sonic games get hate for it, people say heroes has bad controls but with SA2 everything is mapped to the same button and controling the character feels wierd, people say the warehog is slow and breaks the pase of sonic unleashed but with SA2, mech shooting and tressure hunting take up 80% of the game and they are slow, repetitive, and poor level design, you in a slow ass mech going through these levels and a random drone or a mech drops on your head without warning or any time to react, SA2 condones poor level design, 06 gets hate for a few glitches but SA2 is literally a janky mess, like i said every problem SA2 has other sonic games get hate for, SA2 hets away with it couse its a sequal to a peak series in the franchise so people just overhype it, im in the humble conclution that if 06 was called SA3 people would say its peak
@@SAMURAIPACK456 Adventure 2 is defenitly not a buggy mess, but you know ehat does break often? Adventure 1, I often clip through the floors or walls in that game and die. Same button syndrome is a very minute issue, there are only two abilities as the speed characters. But yeah, the playstyles do put a damper in the game, but another reason people hate werehog is because the FPS drop. That never happens in Adventure 2. And the issue with the other playstyles isnt reallt the bad level design, its that they nutered the hint system and tracker. And I've kever had an issue with the controls, infact how the mechs and hunters play are objectivly better than Knuckles and Gamma from the previous. And I prefer the way Sonix controls in 2 than 1 but that is subjective
Technically this was the last true sonic game before Sega Enterprises met its demise soon after and 99% of the staff would be out of work.
Originally there was implication of a third Sonic Adventure due to the beta version of the ending dialog between Eggman and Tails.
Due to the impending downfall of Sega, this dialog was changed.
Shadow does indeed die, but his screams of agony were cut for their obviously disturbing nature.
(I don't care that Sega corp brought him back as a dementia patient, none of their games are canon.)

Completely agree. I have a comment unironically saying that Sonic Pinball is better than SA2. It's just when hate and actual critism goes to far, people start to hate good things because they're good, or because they're popular

I Have to disagree, I enjoy many of the Mech segments (excluding Eternal Engine) but I only really enjoy like 3 of the Hunting levels. The rest are just annoyances.
