Prism King I didn't grow up with the PS1 generation, however I did have Nitro Kart as a kid and am playing it to completion at the present. Buying up the original trilogy to see what I missed out on.

What i *_wouldn't_* give to try out those beta versions of Sly 1. I still remember unlocking that "Behind the Scenes" video in Sly 3 and being mesmerized by how Sly 1 looked a couple years before the final game would ship.
Hell yeah, man! I love playing pre-builds and cut content, just to see the artistic process and how the company progresses in games. I wish they had something akin to the Insomniac Museum from Ratchet & Clank for Sly.
There's also a cheat code for Sly 2: Band of Thieves that lets you use TOM from Toonami as a gadget for Sly. You'd basically throw out a miniature TOM that would yell "Hey!" and distract guards like the alarm clock gadget. Similarly, in the third game, Honor Among Thieves, there's a cheat code to alter the skin of Sly's fighter plane to that of a more Toonami-themed design.
I NEED a new Sly Cooper game. They are far beyond the best platformers of all time. The satisfaction you get when you pick pocket or land on something with the circle button, right on the tip with a spin.
I love the Sly Cooper series so much. Part of me wishes that more superhero games would follow more ideas from the Sly games, such as having individual hubs and levels devoted to a villain instead of just a big dumb sandbox with side quests thrown in
I've never played a Sly Cooper game, but watching them being played is still wildly entertaining, everything to the way Sly moves the the ambience of the levels to the way you get new abilities, it's all very tactile even from a spectator perspective, that's a stand-out mark of good game design in my book. _I'm thinking of convincing my mom to buy a bunch of old PS2 games, the Ratchet and Clank & Sly Cooper series' are among that list. __-Also the original Spyro games for the PlayStation because FUCK YES for backwards compatibility.-_
A very underrated game you should look for on the ps2 which is called The Bouncer it's a great game and the main character design is what inspried sora design from kingdom hearts. (It was made by square enix.)

@@tangerinetech5300 Penelope being a villain is far from the biggest problem. The whole plot in general is just plain terrible. Let's start with the Penelope issue. Her betrayal comes completely out of the left field, with zero development. Her only motivation is money, which she hasn't shown any interest towards in Sly 3, making the betrayal really out of character. Second is the time travel. Time travel is a plot device that's near impossible to make work well and they blew it big time in Sly 4. The way the time machine works is laughable at best. It takes you to the *year* when an object was made, yet the Sly gang always coincidentally ends up on the exact *day* and place they need to be in to stop the villains. Don't even get me started on how they always *coincidentally* stumble upon the objects they need. This is especially terrible with the ice age level. Which also has a really big second issue. Sly never knew about Bob even though he has read the Thievious Raccoonus. So how does Le Paradox know about him? Now let's talk about Le Paradox himself. He gets screwed over by Sly's father once and suddenly wants the whole family lineage erased, but instead of just going over and murdering Sly's dad he just sits around and does nothing for a few decades. Then he gets a time machine with unlimited potential, but barely does anything with it. And what he does is unnecessarily convoluted. He could've just gone to Bob and ended the whole lineage, instead he goes to multiple eras. Which also shouldn't work, because he already stole Bob's cane in the past, which means rest of the ancestors shouldn't have theirs in the first place. All of this is just an excuse to get Sly and the player to meet his ancestors. This isn't a real plot. This is a fanfiction. At best. The game play is fine though. I can admit that.(except for the final boss, which is the worst and most disappoiting I've ever seen)

Hopefully Sucker Punch will eventually go back and develop a 5th Sly game.

Thieves in Time was a fairly good game. The visuals and overall style of the gameplay (including multi-stage boss fights) were great. It lacked difficulty IMO, and some character portrayals were a bit odd. Not a bad game at all though.
Okay sly fans, this is a tough one but, which sly game is your favorite? Mines is sly 3, despite the super short story I like being able to play as all the characters and their unique abilities. Then it'd be 2 cause it introduced us to the other gang members so we don't just play as sly 24/7. Next would be 1, idk what it is about 1 that made it so fun but a health system was much needed cause that clockwork boss fight was straight hell,best story imo. Last BUT definitely not least is sly 4, the story didn't make the best sense but it was still ok, while the story may have fell flat the quests and adventures make up for it as well as being able to play as sky's ancestors

There's also the fact that the Cooper Ancestors have some changes before the final version. Tennesse Kid Cooper's earlier concept show him to be much older and the iconic hook of the Cooper clan was not in the handle of his gun but in the other way around. Sir Gallan had a different costume, which I would assume it was a mistake by the developers. earlier concepts of the banners from the Carnival section from the Medieval England Hub world, he appears to have an Archer outflit, instead of a Knight Armor. The Archer costume was lately change to be one of the Sly's costumes, which makes a possible reference to Disney's Robin Hood. Ironically, in Thieves In Time, the newest ancestor is also the oldest Cooper from the Cooper Clan: Caveman "Bob" Cooper.

SLY COOPER 1 was ok,2 was a bit better but SLY COOPER 3 was the most fun of the 3 and is still a ton of fun today! I love to make Carmelita chase in Italy,I just find it beyond funny that she tries so hard to jump so high and she is never able to get me down the highest point in that level.
Did you know that in certain missions in Sly 4, Clockwerk can be seen in the distance? Since the game takes place in the past it makes sense he'd be there, except he's around in "Clan of the Cave Racoon" which would mean this mechanical bird has existed since the dawn of time.
Jak, Sly, & Ratchet; the holy trinity of PS2 mascots right there. Wish they could make some more games with them, but oh well.

Okay sly fans, this is a tough one but, which sly game is your favorite?
Mines is sly 3, despite the super short story I like being able to play as all the characters and their unique abilities. Then it'd be 2 cause it introduced us to the other gang members so we don't just play as sly 24/7. Next would be 1, idk what it is about 1 that made it so fun but a health system was much needed cause that clockwork boss fight was straight hell,best story imo. Last BUT definitely not least is sly 4, the story didn't make the best sense but it was still ok, while the story may have fell flat the quests and adventures make up for it as well as being able to play as sky's ancestors

KingMaru I gotta say 2 was on another level for me, so many improvements from the first. Then it'd be 1 because I love the gameplay and the challenge. I don't really like 3 because there really wasn't an improvement from 2 to 3 like there was 1 to 2.

SLY COOPER 1 was ok,2 was a bit better but SLY COOPER 3 was the most fun of the 3 and is still a ton of fun today! I love to make Carmelita chase in Italy,I just find it beyond funny that she tries so hard to jump so high and she is never able to get me down the highest point in that level.
