Can’t wait to hear your take on radio frequency! Please give us every detail! Interesting hearing about these masks. Totally new to me in Tennessee. 💓Kelly
I am happy about the dry masks but I don't see the problem with the wet ones. I love them. Slap on foot cream and hand cream mask on and watch a film in bed. When the mask starts to dry a bit take it off ipe residual on neck and chest tap in residue on the face add your night creams, finish the film. Wake up gorgeous. I am easily pleased :-)
Once again just want to say how Amazing you and your channel is! And that you give good, honest information plus you don’t take yourself so seriously that you can’t wear a mask like that! Brilliant! 😊😷
Beauty Pie have had micro needle patches for nearly a year now. They come in sets of 2 and you get 10 sets for £25 if you're a member. They are amazing when used regularly around the eyes, I need to stock up!
I just had to come back Nadine, after perusing the Priceline aisles (Priceline is one of our so called "drugstores" here in Australia) & to my delight I bumped into the Vice Reversa Micro Needling Plumping Patches!! It's an 8 pack they don't have any other products from this brand but nevertheless, excited to see!! Now thanks to you I'd love to try them out!!! Haha but price is $79.95😁
I have a set my son bought me. Amazing as im lazy sometimes. Yes fantastic Masks. Your so comical. Poor Jo zits tester She won't mind i know. Looking forward to You & Jo. Yay xxx💖💗💝🐯🐾🐾
The Koreans are of course ahead of the game here - check out Acropass patches at around £11 a pack (other brands also available). I love the Korean/Japanese masks or make my own using the compressed masks and Hada Labo lotion (Hyalauronic Acid before everyone over here caught on).
I have never liked the cold wet masks, especially when I feel cold. However they so put leave on product onto your skin. Love the dry idea. And microneedling patches! On my wish list.
Great video, intelligent and amusing as ever. Can't wait for the next ones :) thank you so much. When you and/or Jo discover something amazing for a nearly-80-year-old face (addicted to skincare and makeup), please talk about it here x
LOl, I use hyalauronic sheet masks... but only BECAUSE I like something cold and wet on my face! :-)Seriously though, I don’t expect much from them in terms of beauty, but I always keep one in the fridge and use it to bring down a rosacea flush, as my face tends to overheat in the evenings.
If you look online, spot patches are really good from Korea and the Far East. These are cheaper and you could just microneedle before. Thy're usually hydrocolloid though.
Love you did the last bit with the mask on. My skin is quite sensitive so I'm always a bit wary of anything that has the word "needles" in it lol. The VH one has my interest though. Emma x
The ulta beauty line here in the states has come out with dry sheet masks!!! I bought a couple when I discovered it. Will let you know how I like them...they’re buy one get one half off this weekend!!
I understand that sheet masks can seem a little gimmicky, that's what I initially thought. By no means do I think they're a necessity, one can easily forgo them, however, I love them for soothing my face after dry, stripping treatments. I feel that they offer me more intense moisturization than regular skin products because of the occlusive barrier preventing evaporation. It feels as though it's forcing moisture into my skin and my skin feels plump and quenched in a way that's more pronounced than when I just use my serums. When I do charcoal facials and acid peels, it's soothing and restorative. P.S. Ugh, I've got a huge face too, woman. I feel your pain.
Thanks for another great video! I love the Trish McEvoy dry sheet mask. They are $29US for one, or $85 for four masks. I looked it up and they seem to be the same ingredients as Nanette’s .
GREAT VIDEO,NADINE. HOWEVER THE FIRST MICRONEEDLING MASKS YOU TALKED ABOUT ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. HOWEVER MAYBE THIS WILL BE WHAT THE HIGHSTREET NEEDS TO GET THEIR ARSES IN THE GAME. LOVE IT.😂😉😙💖👍
Dear Nadine , upon your advice I recently bought It cosmetics under eye concealer , I thank you sooooo much , it is great for my mature under eye ,all the best 😍
Nadine, you are such a wealth of information! I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. Always taking us to school ...#ProfessorNadine 👩🏼🏫😘💛
I use WET sheet masks BECAUSE I could NEVER buy and USE all the various serums in the various masks..I make sure I buy more pharmaceutical brands and buy all different ones..ONCE a week I put one on for a change to change things up..and I micro needle around my eyes all the time then put on serum so I do feel the patches are over priced...But would get some of these needle patches for travel..thank you!
I'm trying radiofrequency at the moment too. One treatment, haven't noticed any change. Two more treatments to go. How many treatments in order to produce results? Thanks for the info about dry sheet masks. 😄
Great video Nadine ! Very informative I think the micro needling patches sound great however too expensive for me , would it not be easier to micro needle then apply your regular serums /hyaluronic acid ? Love your views 💖 x
Love this! You apologising to small animals made me laugh out loud hahaha 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously tho, i loved this! I know which masks to get now so thank you! 💋❤️
Thank you for this thoughtful video! Two questions: 1. Would a dry mask be any more beneficial than just applying serums or creams and using a silicone mask? (Or maybe even a wet mask under a silicone mask?) Silicone masks are so cheap and reusable and they keep the wet masks from running everywhere and drying very quickly; if used with just a serum or cream, they eliminate the wet factor entirely. I think I paid about the equivalent of a pound for mine. 2. Do you know anything about nano-needling? I haven't found much information about this, but I suspect the effects are something akin to what these "micro-needling" patches are doing. I've so far only ever seen nano-needling used via an electronic pen-like device with changeable head. (So they are exactly the same as the devices that use long needles which can be adjusted to enter the skin at .5 to 3 mm, but instead have a much more modest fixed depth.) It is my understanding that the purpose of nano-needling is more to deliver product to the skin, and less to create injury to prompt new skin growth, such as in the case of wanting to get rid of skin scarring.
You said last year you'd try out laser for the stretch marks. Did you do it? I watch all of your videos and haven't seen any follow-up... did I miss it?
I'm not a back sleeper (I've really tried) so I'm afraid a lot of my skincare ends up on my pillow. At the very least, the pillow pulls some moisture out of my skin. A dry mask seems like it might help prevent that. But it would have to fit my face or it would drive me crazy. The really slimy ones are horrible if they don't fit.
I don't quite follow why you think 15 minutes isn't long enough if I heard you correctly. The serums from The Mask remain on your skin and continue working I would presume. Did I hear you correctly Nadine?
Some of them say to work the serum into your skin and don't rinse it-i usually do it before bedtime and usually notice a difference in the morning. PRP therapy or "Vampire Facials" are becoming popular here in NY. What's your take?
I have not tried this yet but why not leave in conditioner mixed with crumbled up Dollar Tree eyeshadow in the color that you want. Just got my eyeshadow so we'll probably try in a few days just to cover a few grays. If you're covering all of your roots, however, it would probably take more eyeshadow. Also there is a product called pop curl gel and there's one other but I don't recall the name right now. They will shampoo out, supposedly, but for me that never seems to work. Generally takes several shampoos before something washes out. I am looking for natural ways to color and if your color is a dark color, things have been done with tea, blackstrap molasses and a shampoo, and even beets or beet juice depending on the color that you're looking for.
I love sheet masks because you slap them on and they plump and hydrate and there’s so much variety and they are AFFORDABLE. You keep saying you need to leave the product on your face but do you not realize you rub all the (tons) of left over serum on your face when you take it off? I mean? You’re literally not taking it off your skin at the end so I’m lost at your reasoning here? Meanwhile Dry sheet masks sound ridic, until those prices become more comparable to regular sheet masks, you might as well just buy a dry oil and slather your face in that, just like you said you would rather slather your face in serum than use a wet sheet mask. Not much difference here except one is legit affordable and one isn’t, even at the newer prices
If you're not rinsing your skin after removing a sheet mask, how is that different from putting on a serum and going to bed? You're not removing the product by lifting the sheet off, the substance that was on it has probably already soaked in anyway. And if it hasn't, it soon will, just like any other serum. All that a sheet mask does, is it creates an additional beneficial occlusive barrier. I can't see why you find it worse than putting on a regular serum.
Hi Nadine, or should I say...Hannibal 😂 on the subject of needling what do you make of dermapen and derma roller facials for uneven skin texture and large pores....are they the magic bullet they claim or just £100's of delusion🤔 would I better spend on serums....thanks ❤️😘
I was about to ask this too. I’ve used them a couple of times and I’m not convinced however, it may be that I need to use consistently to get the results.
I'm confused about your take on sheet masks. Most sheet masks say to massage in any remaining serum left when you remove the sheet mask. Therefore, you are leaving it on the same way you would a serum.
Don’t you think. A mask leaves MORE product on for that time/it does not dry out . Then you don’t wash it off. So you end up super loading your skin? You would not put on as much if you just used a serum before bad. Iv tried ones with a whole bottle of serum worth this my skin drinks up. ?!!?!

Nadine you are so funny and interesting. I’m now picturing a plane full of women, each of us wearing different printed masks. 🤩
This was such a great video. 111 Skin makes a great microneedle mask that is easy to get here in the US.
Could you do some kind of cruelty free skincare video?
Dear Nadine , upon your advice I recently bought It cosmetics under eye concealer , I thank you sooooo much , it is great for my mature under eye ,all the best 😍

Love your videos but stop pushing your back every 2 minutes. Just put hairclips. Its not cute and distracting!
At 4:24 its like the third time.

Is Thermage the same thing as radio frequency? If so, it doesn't work and it caused Burns.
Love you

Sable 711 Hi,not many greys but I’ve bought wow root powder in medium brown. Is Dollar tree like our pound shop here in UK 🇬🇧 XXX
@@janeburke147 I need to look for that one and try it as well.

I’ve tried no20 dry masks thanks to LatestInBeauty 😀
There Brill I have done 2 reviews on them on my face mask Friday on my face mask channel

How do the patches compare to the roller needles you can buy for home use?
Nadine is it possible to do microneedling while on retin a ? If so how do you go about it?
what do you think of the beautypie micro needle patches?
I was about to ask this too. I’ve used them a couple of times and I’m not convinced however, it may be that I need to use consistently to get the results.
Which dry face mask is your favourite?
Why don’t they make a microneedling mask that infuses hyaluronic acid or whatever? Thank you for the info on new products 🌹
Serene Artist they do that’s what I mention here in this video x
I'm confused about your take on sheet masks. Most sheet masks say to massage in any remaining serum left when you remove the sheet mask. Therefore, you are leaving it on the same way you would a serum.
Mayra Gutierrez absolutely but they cost so much per wear - even the cheapest ones are far more costly per ml than the best Serums x
@@NadineBaggott touché! 😉
You look like Julia Roberts with the face mask on x
Your favorite under eye masks?
Ulta Beauty has a dupe for the Nanette de Gaspe Restorative £85 for U.S. $0.97!! I kid you not 🙎!! (that means girl 😘😂😂)
Hia😍🤗😘
£30 for the De Gaspe masks , gimme the Charlotte Masks and I’ll use the tenner towards a caci facial 😘

I don’t get sheet masks either ! Nadine the socialist skincare guru!
You hate sheet masks!but most people cannot afford to pay such extortionate prices for a mask
I hate masks. Pointless but agree in the value of eye patches. Although mocroneedling eye patches. Not for me.
