I've been getting hormonal spots on my usually clear skin for the past couple of months, and it's been driving me crazy!!! Last week I ordered Paula's Choice BHA Gel because of you, and I am so looking forward to receiving it! Ready for clear skin days that's for sure! Love your work Nadine! xxx

Paula’s choice, CeraVe, Superdrug Vitamin E cleanser and HadoLabo hydrator have changed my skin. I couldn’t imagine going out without putting foundation on my face. Today I realized that I no longer need foundation as my skin looks great!! It feels great! I thought I would never get rid of my chin spots....I still have scars but my skin never looked better and I’m 31. Thank you Nadine 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Nadine?! Did you actually read my mind with this video?! Thank you so much. This is the information I so desperately needed given that I am in my early 30s and have the skin of a teenager!!
Thank you so much for doing this Nadine. I already have my 12 & 14 year olds cleansing and moisturising (gently) but will try these products and will add in the Paula’s Choice lotion. I suffered badly with my skin and being in my 40’s now I am of the Clearasil generation. I’m determined to help my kids have better skin.

I won’t listen to any marketing hype on anything cosmosceutical as it’s mostly nonsense written by people totally unqualified to talk on the subject and sooo pleased to hear you encourage this simple but effective approach If anyone wants further no nonsense insights on skincare without a hefty price tag watch Dr Dray she’s an amazing dermatologist xx 😚
I'd also recommend CeraVe's PM Cream Facial Moisturiser, it has niacinamide, glycerin, ceramides, cholesterol and sodium hyaluronate. I prefer it over The Ordinary's NMF, I find that one way too moisturising for daytime use
One step for my 18 year old son sadly. Could never get him to follow any skin care routine so he uses The Ordinary Glycolic Acid and it has helped immensely.
S A acid has changed my life at 50 always had spotty skin now I’m spot free I’m able to use a moisturiser now and so impressed. After covid my sons (27) spots came back. Years ago he was on tablets to cure cystic acne years ago I’ve put him straight on an good cleanser as you showed and SA acid and he’s now spot free most of the time and also got him spot plasters as he’s getting married in June so pleased with that acid wish I knew about it before and thought I did research
I’ll definitely try the konjac sponge. I hate the feel of microfibre. It makes me nauseous 🤮 almost like nails on a blackboard. Thanks for recommending Paula’s Choice face wash. I already use a few of her products 👍🏻 I love everything I have tried
This is brilliant, thank you! My 11yr old has started to break out and it’s starting to knock his confidence.. This will really help, you’re a saviour x
Thanks Nadine. I’ll be sitting my spotty 21 yr old lad down to watch this. He takes no notice of my advice so let’s hope a more professional angle works!
This February I started using Cerave hydrating cleanser with my Erase your a Face Microfibre cloth and TO products , My skin has never been is such good condition I see my pores have diminished in appearance, it’s smoother, I am seeing a very noticeable improvement in my fine lines and firmness in my skin in general . I highly recommend them . My skin is loving Cerave the Tub moisturizer is fabulous as well .
I am getting addicted to ur videos honestly where I was so many years didn’t knew I was maiming so much good stuff love ur video thanx a lot my daughter is 13 now and I really needed this
I love seeing brands like CereVe being spoken about. I had been planning on getting the hydrating cleanser for my 10 year old girl so that it's just for her, she has been using a little Clinique TTDO cleansing balm. I love the CereVe Renewing SA cleanser, got my sis to pick one up from the US last year. I hope Boots bring more of the range in. A few more products now on my shopping list after this video, thanks Nadine. 👍😊
The only thing I want to mention that I’m currently dating someone (a man hehe) who has the most amazing soft skin I’ve ever seen on a man! And he doesn’t use any products! I’m honest shocked by the fact. Haha 😆 I think it’s genetics but I’m not sure. Men usually have more enlarged pores but he somehow doesn’t? Weird. I’m jealous 😃 Love your channel, Nadine!! ❤️
Nadine you are my go-to for reliable and accurate information about anything related to skin! Thank you for always steering me in the right direction xx
Thanks for making this about kids. I really think UA-cam is way behind on sharing proper advice for self care which is targeting kids. As a mom of two girls I always try to find reliable info to share with my kids on UA-cam, your video makes it easier for me. I would like to see you share some treatment for thin, easy to break hair. My 7 yrs old had that kind of hair and Ive been trying to find shampoo and conditioner that would help her situation. Do you suggest taking her to see a dermatologist?
Love Hada Labo and CeraVe so much!! I just tried their Hydrating Cleanser and I’ve loved it! Need to buy the whole bottle of it 🥰 My go-to trusted cleanser is the Gentle Hydrating Cleanser by Hada Labo and this one is the only one that never breaks me out and makes my skin feel so good! Now that I’ve tried CeraVe one I think I’m going to use both and try more of the other products from them. Lovely products 😊 I stay away from foaming ones because my skin is dry and sensitive.
Kim Barrett It is available in all Polish Rossmanns, so I assume that in the German ones too, so take your pick if you happen to visit central Europe one day :-)
If only I knew this 30 years ago as a 14 year old suffering with bad skin. Now older and wiser I can see everything I put on it was so badly stripping and now I'm really seeing the effect of that. To all the youngsters out there please stop using Clean & Clear, Clearasil, Biactol, Tea Tree, Biore, Proactive and all those things which marketers want you to think is best for you, they aren't. Listen to Nadine x
I contacted Boots recently, asking them to start stocking a wider range of the CeraVe products, as there are lots of great ones we can't get in the UK. They replied saying they would mention it to their buying team and monitor how many people were asking for the same. So, if you love CeraVe as much as I do, please contact Boots too! :)
Hi, Nadine! Very excited to try these suggestions for my son but we cannot get the Clinisept online without being a "logged-in professional". Do you know of any other avenues we could pursue to purchase it?
Great video!! I'm 55 and use these products as you do. I do use the Cerave moisturizer as well and think it is kind to my skin. Watched your Instagram....it was fun!!
What a fab video . My daughter is 12 and I have started her on liz Earle but I will definitely start her with this when the dreaded hormones kick in ! Also I just binge watched your IGTV really enjoyed it . xx
Phenomenal! I love to have a video like this in mind to suggest next time a friend is dealing with breakouts or has a kid dealing with them. It’s all so opposite to what we thought we were supposed to do in the 80s and 90s! That antiseptic spray is a genius suggestion for things like cold sores and first aid needs. Thank you!
Brilliant video Nadine as usual 😊 my son is 15 and just started shaving too which doesn't seem to be helping his skin or it could be stress due to Exams in 3 weeks...im off to boots this morning as I'm going to try the cerave moisturiser for myself from another of your videos...keep doing what you're doing ☺ ps loving the IGTV too!
Absolutely brilliant advice!! It took me years to figure out that controlling my acne is this simple! Two questions: 1) Is there a specific hydrocortisone cream that you recommend? 2) Is there something similar to Clinisept that is available in the United States? Thank you so much!
Love your videos Nadine. I think I have watched all of them! So good to hear the science behind it all. My son has terrible eczema at times. He looks like he has black eyes. He has tried a lot but it is making him miserable. He had eczema as a small boy and then it seemed to go away until recently. He is now 26. Any advice gladly received.
Hi Nadine, great video. My daughter is 12 and has just started with the products you have suggested. Could you please advise the best everyday facial SPF for her age.
Thank you for making such an easy to follow video. Just what I need for my 13 year old daughter and a tweak or two for my peri-menopausal spots. I’m off to buy the BHA gel. PC also make a 1% BHA. Would you recommend this for sensitive skin, or just be very precise with applying the 2% via something like a cotton bud (q tip)?
In case you are interested - Hada Labo products are available in all Polish Rossmanns, I would assume that in the German ones too, so take your pick if you happen to visit central Europe one day :-)
Re- Dr Sam Buntings Cleanser, I find it really stings my eyes. Wanted to know if that's the same for you or anyone else who uses it. Love your videos Nadine. Your new insta series is amazing x
Nadine - I wondered if you've tried PGA (polyglutamic acid) which apparently holds ten times more moisture than hyaluronic acid (which the nearly-80-year old skin just loves!)? Thank you for your very informative videos. Always look forward to them.
Great video. Thank you. I love the interview with milk and mortar and bought the exuviance range. I also purchased the hado labo from Amazon last week but I’m now worried that i bought a dupe? It’s the same bottle as the one you mentioned last week.
Hi Nadine, great video. You advised me to go to my gp and I’m so grateful. I’m struggling to find cera ve in my local boots. Do you recommend any other gel cleansers? I’ve seen your good skin do a gentle non foaming gel cleanser, wasn’t sure it if it would be ok. Thank you x
Hi Nadine & all, thx for super helpful video! does anyone know if hada labo are cruelty free? i can't find anything that confirms which makes me think it might not be... thx xx
I agree with the cleanser, but I personally wouldn't recommend AHAs or BHAs to my 12-y/o sister because I know she doesn't use sunscreen. I try to make her start using spf on a regular basis (she is blond and quite pale, so she's prone to sunburn) but she doesn't listen. Wouldn't adding a BHA in the long run do more harm to the skin without UV protection?
I just ordered the Paula choice BHA 4% for my hormonal acne and stubborn blackheads on my nose and chin I use all medical grade skin care products and these are the only two issues I am having trouble with him hoping that this works thanks for the suggestions!!!
Great advice Nadine. You didn't mention SPF after moisturising. Shouldn't SPF 30 or above be used after any exfoliating acid? I ask because I'm looking at TO 2% salicylic acid and they advise SPF after due to exfoliating effect. What do you think?
Nadine could you do a video on hand skincare. Your hands look so youthful! Mine are soooooo dry and no matter how much cream I apply they seem to get worse. I suffer with allergic dermatitis.
Hi Nadine, thanks for the video. My 11 year old has spots and blackheads all over the T Zone. Was just wondering if you would use the Paula's Choice acid all over the affected areas of skin everyday? Morning or night or both? Or just occasionally?
Cerave also do a foaming cleanser for oily skin. I have oily/combination skin so should I be sticking with the hydrating cleanser or using the foaming one for oily skins?🤯Also, how would I know if my oily skin was dehydrated?
When it's dehydrated it should feel tight. Your skin eill be lacking hydration. Even if you have oily skin foaming cleanser alone is too drying. You can use a cleansing oil to cleanse. There are many dupes for the CeraVe hydrating if it feels too much
I've been getting hormonal spots on my usually clear skin for the past couple of months, and it's been driving me crazy!!! Last week I ordered Paula's Choice BHA Gel because of you, and I am so looking forward to receiving it! Ready for clear skin days that's for sure! Love your work Nadine! xxx
