Bro i know thats 4 years ago. I didnt know how to lock up the air suspemsion. So did my shocks in the rear....now im.having a malfunction light for air suspension. For some odd reason my scanner (snap on) wont let me connect to the suspension system...but earlier before that it did...any advice please
I just did all 4 of my shocks and air bags. I want to change compressor also. Will the truck lower when i disconnect? Do you have to put on jack stands first or will pressure remain in the shocks.
Thanks for the video. Can you explain more in the next times. That would be very helpful. I have a question if it is possible to install the rear airmotck shock absorber inorder not come out of its position?
Thanks for your video man! That's exactly the problem of my wife's 2008 GL450 I got malfunction on the air suspension and at one point after i turn off the truck the pneumatic pump is still running and its freaking me out. I noticed that my fuse for the air suspension is also busted. I'm gonna try to remove the wheel and check it myself if it needs filter or pneumatic valve.
Thanks for this video, but you said in the later part of the video that if the car don’t come you should pump air into it manually can you explain further please how to pump air into it using the computer. My other question is any time I replace one tire the whole system will drop down and the compressor can’t get it up again, is it a valve issue or something else. Please help
DA TRUTH i have a GL550 and everytime i turn off the truck the right front and back tire deflates only one that side...sometimes it takes 2 days or some days 2 hours and the suspension deflates any help?? Love your vids man
Thank you for that video. I feel more confident now in replacing the compressor on my wife's truck. Do you think ill have to take in to dealer so they can reset it on computer or will truck and compressor marry once connecyed.
John Favela no you shouldn't have to take it to the dealer just don't lower the truck all the way down until you start it and build back up the air in the compressor and shocks and see it start to rise
John Favela you should try to Jack both sides from the middle of the truck lower mid way don't let the wheels go all the way up into the wheel but it doesn't need to be to high up you want to try to keep the weight off all 4 shocks until they fill up then you see the truck push it self up and then you can take out the jacks
Nice work. I changed one air spring on our 2011gl450 n changed out air compressor n the small air distributer on top of compressor. Put everything back on lowered truck n started it, the truck came straight up. Now it only lasted one week n it lowered from the front. When I turn the truck on it tries to lift from front but only goes up so much n it only gives me the matic option n it does not show being lift or being lowered options n the compressor turns of n says it's cooling down.
My wife's truck doesn't want to raise today our temperature here is 27 degrees. Do you know if these pumps have a drain plug to drain moisture

Ok even if I only jack up on the passenger side ill be ok or should I raise both sides. I used the jack that comes with truck it lifts it pretty high.

You need to check the relay and valve block
DA TRUTH the compressor came with the relay and replaced it too
