I have damping valve malfunction open circuit on two places, I check all the wiring seems OK, the damping system always stays on Sport, the ride is very hard like I had no suspension. Height works fine no leaks. Could the valve block be defective.

Hello I had replaced the air suspension drive side and now I still have to he same problem the car be tilting as little to the LL eft side and after turn off it goes all the way down from. The front Any advice about what is the cause could be please help

I have 2008 Mercedes gl450, I have recently replaced the compressor , valve block , filter, and one height level sensor on the driver side. Needless to say my car still having issues. When I raise the suspension it takes a while and then causes the brand new compressor to give error on the instrument cluster of compressor cooling down. Then when it cools down the front end lowers so much that it’s not drivable. I am completely lost. I have Star and tried to calibrate the suspension and it fails. I run tests and I get some error not leaktight. Weird thing is that I am only having issue with the driver side’s front wheel. The rear doesn’t lower at all.. any idea what it could be?
@DA TRUTH Hi. 2009 GL320 Blutec. kinda randomly the rear (both tires equally) will deflate after sits for a few hours . and then sometimes it will go several days without deflating. When it does deflate it always rises up within the first few minutes of running.... its always both tires equally either sagging or not so I don't see how it could be one of the airsprings (my friend insists thats it) I read it could be position sensor. Should I be looking at the valve block maybe? Thanks!
In the rear of your vehicle there are two position sensors one for each side sounds like it might not be in the right position I had another GL with at issues adjusted the sensor and it's been after that

Great videos! I hope you can help me. My front right air shock was leaking, but only in the lowered position due to the way the rubber folds when it's lowered. It held air fine in the raised position, which I did for several weeks until I could replace the airbag. I've done that, and now the system won't send air to that corner. I tried to blow air back into the line to make sure the line itself wasn't cracked (it's not), then disconnected it from the valve block to run air through to make sure it wasn't blocked (it's not). In fact, I disconnected the line from the shock while the system was running and never felt any air come through at all. It is possible that the valve block died while I drove the car in the raised position? That seems like a horrible coincidence, but with this truck, I believe it. However, is there something I've overlooked? Is there a computer trick the dealer needs to do?
Hey buddy what were the symptoms of a bad valve block? Im Purchasing one and it sags pretty quick. I’ve delt with the range rovers and it seems like the identical systems. Would buy it if the valve block is bad but if its air struts may not. Thanks in advance for you help.
Deeyon Persaud the vehicle would not rise up I would recommend changing the valve block just to be safe I had a car i changed the pump in and the valve block started leaking
DA TRUTH when it sits overnight the front would be down and back would be stable and some time the other way around looked at the front springs doesn’t look dry rotted in good shape so it leads me to think there’s a bad block...
DA TRUTH I’m planning on soap watering them in the morning. My thing is if they were leaking the fronts would always go down but like I mentioned it veries from front and back... those valve blocks are notorious for being problematic...
When you change that air valve after that do you need to program it meaning if I change it myself do I need to bring it to the dealer to put on a computer

If I replace valve block only, how should I relieve system pressure? I assume entire car will then drop therefore have jacks on all four corners? How should I restore system pressure? Thanks for any info you can provide.
Ice Mel yes just disconnect the lines but make the truck is jack33rd up to keep the weight off all four shocks and don't lower the truck all the way until you start it and the pressure builds up in the shocks
@@datruth9329 quick question bro I changed the valave block compressor and realy at a Mercedes shop also took the car to the dealer and they see no leaks the problem I have is that car ride smooth one day then bumpy another and the ride doesn't feel even( doesn't feel like all the shocks are on the same height so I get ticking sometimes going over bumps like a boat) the only thing I didn't change is the airmatic filter for the compressor can a dirty filter make this happen
Ok. I just replaced my pump and it wouldn't raise. I replace to fuse and now it raises. I'm also thinking something else maybe wrong. I can hear my pump coming on constantly. It stays up. Do you continuesly hear your pump coming on while driving?
GL450 2011-Bro I changed the valve body block, repaired the cracked compressor intake hose, replaced the intake filter, replaced the 40 amp fuse, replaced last year both front air springs but I still have the level malfunction? can you give me advice on whats going on, I dont want to pay the dealer $179 for diagnoses. I will check back later for your response

It sounds like the valve block is not sending air to that shock that would be the best thing to change

Ice Mel just start the vehicle let the pump run and pressure should build up
Thanks for quick answer about restoring pressure--but before I remove the block, do I release the pressure by just disconnecting the lines?
