    Thank you for showing us how to replace part that does work well. However, I have watched how to change air suspension compressor and valve block,
    my question about how do I know the problem from compressor or from valve block while front a car does not getup and before do it that I heard air release sound when I parked the car and switched off engine.

      The release you may hear after a drive cycle can be normal. As far as whether it’s the compressor or valve block though it’s hard to say. Replacing the compressor and valve block in conjunction is what is recommended. However starting with the compressor is usually is the best bet and make sure to replace the 40amp fuse if it’s not blown already. Then if that’s all good but you still have issues move to the valve block.

    What if you don’t change the filter and just replace the compressor what would happen?

      Why Should You Replace Your Air Filter From Time to Time?
      You might wonder why you should replace the air filter if it operates perfectly after 2000 hours. Multiple reasons address why you should change them with time. Let’s go over a few of them.
      Increase Your Air Compressor’s Lifespan: Since air filters keep out all the contaminants, they ensure that the entire air compressor works to the best of its ability. Consequently, it will increase the air compressor’s life span.
      Doesn’t Lead to Expensive Repair: The cost of replacing an air filter is way lower than repairing major air compressor issues. If the air filter works properly, you can keep yourself safe from expensive repairs.
      Reduces the Possibility of a Shutdown: If you rely on a single compressor, then any issue due to the faulty air filter will mean a complete shutdown of your operations. Therefore, changing the air filter from time to time is vital.
      Lower Efficiency
      Lastly, if you notice a drop in the air compressors’ performance, you can consider replacing your air filter. In most cases, the air filter won’t perform the same after its lifespan and might lead to problems. But if you are unsure about it, you can get assistance from a professional for further inspection.

    Should i push in air line into a new connector on a new compressor or do as you did use existing fitting?

      You are going to have to remove the nut off the old one. After you remove the nut and the line is free push the nut further up the line to expose the tapered fitting. Spread it open and take it off. It nice you install the new compressor remove the white piece and just push the line through. After that pull on it slightly to make sure it’s secured

    Excellent detail Video. It was not clear which side of the vehicle it was replaced. It appears rear right. I have GL450 2012 mechanic told Air Compressor has to be replaced. Few months ago when I went for Tire change, when the vehicle was lifted up, some fluid was leaking from the Right Rear Suspension area. Firestone guy told, I have to change suspension. Few weeks after that, my car would randomly run out of battery overnight and after jump it would start fine. After that the suspension dropped and started experiencing rough bumpy ride. It seems this Air Compressor works when the vehicle is turned off and drains the battery. Too much electronics , too many problems. Mechanic quoted $1100 to replace. Please show full vehicle once in the video and zoom into show details. Otherwise great video.

      Unfortunately, I will not be able to fulfill your request. I'm sorry you have a lot of problems with your car. I think you just need to find a good mechanic. Good luck!! My son works at a BMW dealership and he always helps me with diagnostics and car repairs.

    When replacing block valve do I have to elevate vehicle of the the ground to help bags inflate or keeping car on the ground is fine ? I have seen somewhere people elevate vehicle and start pumping before bringing vehicle to the ground
    Thank you

      What you saw is correct. When replacing Air Suspension Valve Block or Air Suspension Compressors necessary to elevate vehicle of the the ground to help bags inflate.

    why is the air fileter arrow points away from the compressor ?
    that doesn't make any sense at all.

    • @maksimus-129
      @maksimus-129 6 місяців тому

      Maybe I can clear it up for you. It’s a check valve and is pointing away so the air doesn’t push against the compressor. If it was pushing the other way it would not get air. Hopefully this answers your question

      @@maksimus-129 shouldn't the arrow show the direction of air flow ?
      and shouldn't the air flow go into the compressor ?

    • @maksimus-129
      @maksimus-129 6 місяців тому

      it is going with the flow. The arrow shows which way the check valve opens. Because you want the air to go to the tank. But once the tank starts building filling up it will start to push agains the compressor and will usually burn a fuse out. Does that make sense sorry if I made it more confusing.

    • @davidjacobs8558
      @davidjacobs8558 6 місяців тому

      @@maksimus-129 the other end of air filter is open to the atmosphere, it doesn't go to the tank.
      I highly doubt if there is any check valve in that plastic airfilter. Even if there is a check valve, it's not going to stop the air from flowing the other direction. the whole airfilter assembly will pop off at the connector with rubber hose.
