With the exception of season 4. Jack, Gwen, and Ianto were in the episodes, "The Stolen Earth," and "Journey's End," and they were in the Torchwood "hub."
I remembered that Jack Harkness was in the last few episodes of season 3, "Utopia," "The Sound of Drums," and "Last of the Time Lords." But I had forgotten that he mentioned Torchwood in "The Sound of Drums."
This wasn't mentioned on Doctor Who, because everything on Torchwood takes place after he's met and helped the Doctor. (In seasons 1 & 3). He met the Doctor in season 1, was killed by the Daleks, then brought back by Rose, then he found the Doctor again in season 3, before Torchwood started.
I wonder in new Doctor Who episodes humanity will see this as a everyday thing. Like "Honey look aliens are invading again. Kids remember to bring the cat inside. The Weevils ate the last one."
I love the Torchwood novel where it turns out that Bilis and Abaddon were actually the good guys. It barely made any sense whatsoever, but it was very well written. Still trying to figure out how Bilis can time travel like that. One of the Human TARDIS' perhaps?
Wait how was he a good guy? Didn't he kill hundreds of people just by his shadow? Plus he might be a little angry that his father was destroyed by a man who stops their for fuel.
I have to admit that I did not read the title correctly, so I got a bit disapointed when I realised it was "the Destroyer", not "the Despoiler", I was expecting a Torchwood/40K mashup...

That's a pretty cool metaphor, bro.

Ah yes good catch
How do you know it's son of beast?
Also, y’know, Bilis literally says at the start of the clip “Son of the great beast”.

Let's do a count
