  • For rebuild instructions....follow KTM repair manuals and any '17-23 KTM PDS shock, same deal.
Spent a good bit of time looking over KTM shim stacks, reading up some other's methods and playing with Shim Restackor before going with this setup.

Hey Sam, got my FSE300r. What's your take on the rear shock. Got it at 20 clicks out rebound but just wouldn't let go of the damping. Still at 2 second to return back to uncompressed, harsh on rooted section. Is this normal to a fse300r or maybe its just new.
Btw, Did you replace springs for your weight?

I didn't dig into that one the same, lucked into a nice WP shock on mine but what I see is Chinese suspension stuff from the factory can be hit or miss like maybe your nitrogen isn't fully charged, maybe it's not bled right, a rebuild can generally make it good. Now I kinda wish I had kept the SZC Linkage shock to take apart but sold it a while back.
I didn't replace springs because I'm a small guy and geared up I hit the 155-160lb range.

@@hahayouareanoob im kinda new to this type of shock. I suspect the same with low pressure. I dont see any Schrader valve. Is it covered?
I'm at 190lbs geared. Any idea what the stock spring rate is a base reference.
