Agree and no horrible insults to the designers too. Don’t get me wrong, we all have an opinion on styles and what we like in wedding dresses but when they are outright nasty about what they think it’s so unnecessary.

Well now I know the ending-
2yrs is a long time fir themes and venues to change, here in Ontario Canada where she is from we've been in and out of covid lockdowns, venues open and shut without warning. She needs flexibility in her plans.

Wish they could've put her in other styles cause some brides come in with an image but end up liking something totally different. But she rocked all those dresses for sure !

I would have hated that! I’m very decisive about my taste and what I want. A salesperson not listening to me would piss me off, waste my time and lose my business.
Consultant Erika did an amazing Job: all the dresses looked stunning on the beautiful young bride!

I can’t imagine myself buying my dress almost 2 years before the wedding. It could go out of style by the time of the wedding 🙈

It's taking around 9 months to get a wedding dress ordered in due to Covid. Add in multiple fittings and you're almost at two years.
Some styles never go out of fashion .Plain classic style wedding dresses are always trendy 😉
And your taste might change completely during these 2 years!

i think erika did great at listening to the bride, some consultants don’t seem to understand some brides but she did great!!

How did they decide that the second dress did not go with the boots? I am confused. How is it different than any other dress? It's gonna be hidden under the dress anyway.
It's when she shows the boots they have to go with the dress ~ they won't go with all the dresses as well...

Yes, the plastic people would have a very stylish wedding! I always love those far more than what is tried on. Not sure if because they are more expensive or because because they are not on real figures.
Glad she didn’t rush a decision. She’s going to look beautiful in whatever she wears. She definitely needs to come back to the dresses and get the feeling a little closer to the day. I would definitely bring back the same entourage. They were lovely.

I went to a country wedding where we sat on hay bales and the bride wore a white dress with a camouflage sash with her cowgirl boots.

EXACTLY! This could be adjusted by the designer, the in-house alterations team or even an outside seamstress. A very simple change. Gok does this and more ALL THE TIME.
I loved the first one on her, too. She was beautiful in all of them, but the first was my favorite.

I find it so strange when the bride doesn’t go through all the dresses and picks them out herself. It would bug me so much that the consultant looks though all the dresses instead.
I used to think this too. I just picked out my dress last month. It is honestly overwhelming seeing so many dresses and (for me) hard to imagine what it supposed to look like when it’s on the hanger. If you go to the right place and explain what you want they will find things you like. I definitely feel like some consultants are way better than others.

Nooooo. They have literally THOUSANDS of dresses. There's no way. That's why they ask about silhouette and fabric. It's the first place to start. The consultants know where the dresses are hanging and how much they cost. It can still take hours. If the bride looked through, they'd be there for weeks.
But that’s the purpose of a bridal salon. People who don’t like that would go to a regular bridal store, and pick out their own dresses to try on.
Same. Gimme 5 minutes, I could rule out 95% of those dresses and have my picks.
She looked lovely in all of them but fair play to her for walking away when she didn’t get the feels. She reminds me a little of a young Natalie Portman.

When brides order 1-2 years prior to the wedding, has there ever been a bride who got the relationship turn over and had to cancel the wedding?

I’m sure there have been many tbh! One of my close friends ended up cancelling her wedding 5 weeks beforehand and had to try and sell her dress on Facebook marketplace 😬!

I had a Maggie dress I loved it. It had crystals(purple,green with some brown the stems of the flowers) that made it look like flowers and vines. 2003 is when I got the dress.

I feel the same. IMO, her small chest is enhanced by the straighter neckline and the sweetheart makes her look really flat. And I totally loved the details of the first one and thought it did not overwhelm the boots.

This is my favorite version. These episodes have been scarce the last couple of years.
If I had my way, we’d rotate between here, Curvy Brides, and Lancashire.
I don’t like the budget drama at Confetti and Lace, and the atmosphere at Kleinfeld is often off putting “our dresses START at $2,500” most brides don’t want to spend that much. Hell, even Confetti and Lace started carrying nice dresses under $1,500.

2 years to go? Mmmm, I haven't been in a long term relationship so, I can't say any different than wow; if it worked or is working, great!
In the other hand, I think this bride wasn't sure since the very beginning about looking for the dress at that moment. In the dress room she was happy but in front of her crew het attitude changed towards the outfits and opted for saying no, also her face was very revealing, from smiling to shy. But I can say every dress she tried on looked stunning on her.
All the dresses looked gorgeous on the bride.

If I was the consultant I would give her a plain satin or tulle dress and not blingy belt .
Those boots just don't work. You don't match a dress to an accessory. But she looks stunning in all dresses the last one looked great on her.
Seeing this bride in all the dresses she tried on, honestly, I didn’t think looked great on her. For me, it’s the strapless. She looked awkward with the strapless style. Maybe add a strap or sleeves possibly. She could look amazing in those types of dresses! I know if I went dress shopping, I’d try on different styles regardless of if I liked them or not just to rule them out.
Dress #1 was bedt.

She liked the first dress best except it did not have the sweetheart neckline. Couldn't she have it done custom since she has 2 years? I do not know enough about alterations but maybe a seamstress could modify the neckline? Would that be simple, or would it mean taking the dress apart? That is what I would do. Make it what I want.

We have a beautiful bridal shoppe right in Kitchener, surprised she drove to Toronto
I like the boot aspect, but why can't she buy white cowboy boots? They could have a touch of color too, but mainly white ~ there are gorgeous ones in cowboy shops.... White boots would be more "wedding'ly" than brown boots and easier to match with a white dress! And then she'd have those boots forever and could wear them on every wedding anniversary.
I also wore country boots on my wedding day.
I think with those boots, a knee-length fit and flare would look awesome!

I find when u want cowboy boots u should get the type of dress where it’s short in front below the knee somewhere I’ve seen a lot like it there stunning rest of the dress is long tho but not the front idk how explain it and it’s not lace bc it’s like a frilly, mesh, silky, or satin idk the name of the material but it’s amazing for cowboy boots

This bride is absolutely adorable. I don't think the mermaid dress is a good fit for her body. They should have tried a ballgown with lace on top and a tulle skirt.

Why not put her in a much shorter dress with a shade of a color that matches her boots 🤔 I mean how could they appreciate the boots if it's hidden .

The dresses are all lovely on the bride but I think she's not yet ready yet. Maybe when the time comes she will find the dress that will fit her BOOTS. Wish her goodluck, she can always come back.
Two years is a long time For someone like me.. I can balloon up in months 😅.. btw bride rocked all d dresses... But all of them made the right decision to not rush it.. ✌️

A bigger patterned more whimsy lace that was off white, even blush, and have more movement, would have fit the feel and tone of the boots. All those dresses were so stiff and proper 😬 Sometimes I wonder if stylists really understand their job.

Too early to shop for a dress, she only needs 6 months before the wedding day and with her figure, she can pick a dress from the racks even with small alterations. new styles will come along and new fashion where she will definitely pick the perfect dress

She didn't say that she didn't want to buy a dress, only that she didn't get "the feeling" with any of them. She was absolutely right - and in the right - to try on as many as she wanted.
An all lace dress is probably going to cost more than $1,500. Good thing her wedding is 2 years away she can save up more money for an all lace dress.

I don't understand the dress matching the boots thing. To me cowboy boots don't "match" wedding dresses the same thing with sneakers they don't "match".If you want to wear "unconventional" shoes there is nothing wrong with that and more power to you but I wouldn't waste time trying to "match".If love cowboy boots/sneakers wear them.
Might have helped if she didn't try on the same basic style each time. Anyway, she doesn't have a lot of vision for it yet and her mom is really supportive. All around ok clip.
Lovely family and entourage. If the Bride was taller she could Model. What a gorgeous girl, and her Mom is a sweetheart. Ya - 2 years out is a year too early. Sheesh…22..(24 by time the Wedding happens)..that’s young to be getting married- by Canadian averages.
