Everyone talks about the violins, but man 1:32 is such an underrated part of the whole thing, assuming this is a boss theme from the DLC I can't think of anything that could hype me up during a fight more than that part

That is also my favourite part, idk why more people aren't talking about it.
Most definitely , main title screen soundtrack ended up being the last boss theme so perfectly plausible. Really excited to play this out.

For the people who are coming here and trying to look for this song in the DLC, luckily it is there but they changed it, this specific one is original from the trailer, the one in the game is called (The Twin Moon Knight) Rellana's OST is very different, no set your hopes very high, similar to the decision From.S made with Sullyvanh in DS3.

@@snaild0g Nothing too serious, just that the original DS3 song that is in the menu was initially by Sulyvanh but they changed their decision and created their own for him.

I love how elden ring has some soundtracks with an heroic theme, but this one reminds like a lot of dark souls type of music theme, like gael and pontiffice

Considering the launch trailer music for Elden Ring was the main theme/ radagon's theme, I think the trailer music for SotET is probably either Messmer's theme or Miquella's theme, if he gets a boss fight.
What do you think is miquella or messmer’s theme now that we have this, the story trailer theme with the messmer part, and then the story trailer theme with the miquella part?
@@godly_potatoe69xd19 I mostly based this comment on how Elden Ring's initial gameplay trailer used Radagon's/title screen theme for the trailer, this new trailer kinda throws a wrench in that hypothesis, but I can give it a shot.
Honestly, I think the Messmer part is still Messmer's theme, but probably only for the first phase of his fight, or it's the theme of the owner of the castle that Messmer is burning. The Miquella portion is probably Miquella or even possibly St. Trina. I'm curious what you may think?
@@DANBAN119 I think messmer’ theme might be the one from the story trailer, miquella or st Trina’s the final one in the story trailer, and the story trailer theme for whoever the final boss is cuz usually they hide that but it’s probably all backwards. It could also be like with what you said where it’s just his themes based on phases or maybe the one from the gameplay trailer won’t even appear in game, idk

Someone replaying DS3 with a newbie freind here and when you go back and listen to the themes of that particular game you can really appreciate how far the composers have come, they always seem to manage upping themselves when it seems they can’t.

The part at 1:20 is underrated, especially in the actual trailer. The music somehow provides a sense of mourning and a sense of slowly approaching doom at the same time.
Kind of a bummer that they discarded this theme in the dlc and instead used a botched version of it for Rellana. I assume that this track was originally made by Yuka Kitamura and they just deleted all her work after she left.

No, it doesn't work like that. They can still use it, she was composing these themes while she already got paid. It is not like she will never work with Fromsoft anymore. Rather than getting a standard salary, she is going to earn over revenue anymore. Think of like 1% from every sale.

Also, he lost his both wing and one leg, even though he is the one who backstab and took Placidusax's two heads first. But Placidusax beat his shit out in his weakest form(two heads). Placidusax still remains in Farum Azula, while Bayle have to run away with his drake dragons.

I like the cover, but what made the music trailer really good was the BASS. The basses are Heavy, Loud (sometimes they are even louder than the main theme), which cause a feeling of danger. I dont feel it in this cover.

So it turns out this is the Twin Moon Knights theme. Idk why but they changed it! It's still good but I wish we had the trailer version. I guess maybe the song was for another boss or maybe the twin moon knight was more important.

From what I’ve heard and seen it looks like it was scrapped in the dlc, it sounds like an altered version of the 2nd bosses theme so maybe they changed it last minute or in game or it’ll be added in a patch or something

The first part is from Rellana boss fight, but they changed it a bit and honestly it sounds so much worse in the game. The second part is nowhere to be found, sadly I'd say cause it's so epic. It has the potential to be an absolute banger and they ditched it for no fucking reason. Man i'm angry for this

DAMN! You did a GREAT job with this, New Sub! While listening to this, I got to looking at Messmer's Spear, around the middle part, there is a design that looks like the emblem on the back of the Confessor Set, just turned sideways! Maybe a HUGE stretch, but, could Messmer be the leader of The Confessor Assassins, or maybe WAS at one point? He has a great distain for The Tarnished, and wants to kill them all (according to the trailer!), he (supposedly) thinks we are not good enough to be Elden Lord! A little bit of a departure from the topic, The Confessor's hunt down and kill those who go against the Two Fingers and their teachings. They are outside from the Land's Between, and are sent out when someone (or someone's), commits heresy, and is too dangerous to be left alive! SInce this shadowed realm is where Marika first set foot on, AND is where she became a God! Maybe in the Golden Order early days, Marika maybe trying to eradicate the last remants of dissent, formed The Confessors, and Messmer was their first Commander! It sounds VERY un-likely, but, I just got the idea from that symbol towards the middle of Messmer's Spear. A little fun speculation!
