The thing about radagon is that he dosent say a single word when he gets introduced unlike every other boss he knows what you’re there for and that’s to get rid of him and take his throne he won’t talk to a person who wants to kill him but he’ll fight with them for sure

This isn't Radagon's theme. It's the theme of all the Tarnished, accompanying the player from the very first moment in the Lands Between to one last battle against the one behind the Shattering of the Elden Ring.
It's the theme of the true Elden Lord.

This is probably the most hopeful and epic main theme of any Soulsborne game. It SCREAMS ambition. Instead of feeling like you’re fighting impossible bosses and the only reason you win is because you cannot die, you feel on par with them. Like you are just as legendary as these figures, and they shall know your wrath. You are Tarnished, emboldened by the flame of ambition. Go forth, become Elden Lord!
Less that you are as legendary as they are, but you can BECOME as legendary as they are. This theme is the game daring you to accept the challenge.

For so many years, Miyazaki's work tested us, to see if the will of blades such as us would hold against his magnum opus. Through the streets of Yharnum, I first arrived. Now, he gives us a chance to be not blades, but warriors. Champions. This song doesn't just light the spark of ambition, it lights our path to the throne. We are champions. The throne of the Elden lord is our birthright.

My first ever “Dark Souls” game and it was nothing short of a masterpiece. The final battle was somewhat emotional knowing it was the end of something beautiful. Thank you Elden Ring for reminding me why I play games.

I love that when compared to Dark Souls' final battle themes, Elden Ring's final battle theme feels like even though the world is coming to an end, you still have the hope to save it.
Absolutely agree. That's one thing I was very happy with in Elden Ring - it didn't go full on nihilism mode in the conclusion of the story. Outside of the dedicated bad ends, the world is either allowed to go to a state where things can return to normalcy, or genuinely get better.
Though now that I think about it, Dark Souls didn't go hard core nihilism until after the first game. It had the option to be viewed that way, but it really depended on whether you chose to believe Kaathe or not. Given that the sequels proved he was at least mostly telling the truth though... lol
Thing is in both a new era is coming where the player is the one to bring this new era, but one sounds depressing and the other has ambition to it, which is why DS3 and ER are masterpieces

It will come out in June, BUT I understand your enthusiasm.
The thing I love about Elden Ring above all other Souls games is that all of the Demi Gods and Empyreans feel like a unified force opposing you, mocking your efforts and mission to upend the Golden Order. You are challenging the gods and they wont stand for it. So when you finally reach Radagon and the music swells up you feel like “Damn, I’m here.”Theres already so much reward to even have entered the Erdtree. Radagon doesn’t care to speak to you, he just intends to kill you for being arrogant enough to stand before him. And his weapon is a hammer, he literally beats you down, it’s not just an attack, it’s an insult. He wont chase you, and if you flee he will shatter the ground beneath you. And if you have already journeyed all that way and faced all those challenges, there is no way you’re going to surrender or accept defeat. What a legendary game and feeling.

When this song came on, and I saw that I was fighting Radagon, I got a bit teary-eyed.

As I was listening to this, I kept thinking "This doesn't really seem that much more epic than the normal version", and I realized: that wasn't a fault of Sam for not making it epic enough. The song was simply too epic too begin with.

Tower Knight, Maiden Astrea, Ornstein & Smough, Gwyn, Nashandra, Sir Alonne, Gael, Midir, Ludwig, Maria, German, Tree Sentinel, Godfrey.... The "Souls" series has so many amazing themes! I would love to hear some of them covered on this channel because this Elden Ring piece is just pure epicness
You gotta add some more from ds3 man. The soul of cinder is maybe the best one and bosses like vordt, pontiff, and the abyss watchers have underrated themes.
@@drewc8052 I just mentioned 2-3 of my favourite tracks from each game to not make the list too long. Most boss themes in the series are very good so there's no point in naming all of them

Radagon is such a cool final boss for this game, a shame the second phase wasn't an upgraded version of his moveset but rather a totally different boss, second phase is still very cool, but I would have prefered if the ultra epic atmosphere of the first one had been preserved insted of opting for a majestic one
The overall lack of multi health bar phases was kind of surprising. Darksouls 3 and Sekiro were full of them, not that it’s big deal though.

Stop joking we all know elden beast was a shit final boss by souls standard, boring fight, good design, mediocre theme. Radagonn shouldve been the final boss
Try doing the fight sumonless. It definitely doesn’t need a third phase. It’s very difficult as it is. Remember that friede was a dlc boss so you shouldn’t compare them. Instead compare it with soul of cinder and I’d say Radagon + Elden beast is so much harder than soul of cinder. And in Sekiro, you could die and revive multiple times throughout the phases. You can’t do that in Elden ring. So the difficulty was definitely there.
Imagine final phase was Radagon switching between Marika and Radagon forms in fast combo moves

definitely felt like the first time I saw Gwyn, Lord of Cinder just standing there. When Radagon is holding his hammer up in the air and the main theme kicks in, I felt tremendous joy that Elden Ring lived up to the hype and delivered a beautiful experience to the player base.
Well, when I saw Gwyn I though: "I´m going to parry the shit out of you"( I was spoiled by a friend)...when I saw the Lord of Cinder I though: "how many stages this mf is going to had"...when I saw the EB I though: "shit, I bet this thing is inmune to states" (Faith/Arcane build)...

Samuel Kim is good, but he fell short this time. I've heard the main theme more times than I can count since the game released, and beat the final boss yesterday (after hearing the boss theme for a multitude of attempts). This cover sounds almost identical to the original. This cover sounds so good because the original was so good, and that is what your hearing. It's a shame, but this one just wasn't as inventive as his other pieces or add anything new, which is the whole point of a remix/cover for an orchestral piece in my opinion.
Every time I hear this song I get chills. CHILLS OF AMIBITION. TO BATTLE TARNISHED ONE.
A masterpiece. Fits the last boss battle like a glove. The pacing, the energy it all lined up perfectly.
This one song made me feel like every battle, death, victory, all the 100 plus hours of exploration and discovered lore led me to one final and monumental moment.. what once was a feeling of dread and despair turned into ambition and confidence, i felt i was strong and worthy enough to face whatever was before me. Becoming elden lord was no longer a goal but a destination ive come to close to turn back from.
Every game should aim to invoke such feelings… what a time to be alive.

I had this game on my PS5 for a year before I decided to finally pick it up. I have never been a Souls fan due to the difficulty, but this one was getting so much hype I decided to persevere. Ill never forget the feeling when I beat my first boss. It felt like I had become a God and I couldnt put it down for the next 3 weeks. The greatest game I have ever played.

Samuel Kim is the only person I've seen to be able to make an already epic track 10x more epic without steering away from it's original essence but still sounding fresh.
Honestly sounds copy paste to the original.
@@aminaandmike it is cleaner than the original. Not sure why the OG seems to be muddied, but the percussion seems to blend with the melody and really turn into a mushy thing. Didn't notice it until Samuel made the cover, but the og has that weird issue.
Everyone give an enormous round of applause for the Souls-Borne series. Seriously this is one of if not THE most emotional, gritty, woeful, detailed, defined (yet also abstract), iconic, video game defining series of games ever created.
To someone who has never played a Souls game, Elden Ring was a really good startoff. And hearing this theme in the last boss fight gave me goosebumps.
I can't believe how good this game was, it was art at its finest. I wish everyone who don't play games, could see and feel what everyone went through when they heard this music in the game.
When this played in-game... I knew that this was one of, if not the best game that I had ever played. Hope you do a cover for Radahn or Godrick's theme.
