I've seen quite a few comments asking me to make a cleaning video for the Xbox Series X. I already have! Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/dKJ2ATvKKAs/v-deo.html
Oh no steve! Ive js heard you had cancer?? Youve got this man,you really thought me alot about gaming consoles and how to repair them! I want to learn more from you! All the best for your recovery ❤❤
I hope your doing very well my friend, I'm so thankful to still get videos so often! I've been watching for nearly 7 years now and have learned a LIMITLESS amount of information from all of your videos! 😊
you are the only channel on that i don't skip the advertisement because i know you deserve every cent for your content and especially for the fight againt the disease. i love you man.
This guy taught me how to repair my consoles and make some money out of my hobby, I didn't check the account for a couple of months and now I come back and see him like this, it's heartbreaking :( I hope you'll get well soon, Steve.
I've been watching your video for a long while now but never commented. You have many strangers who are pulling for your health recovery. God Bless you 🙏
As someone, who had to took apart his whole PS4 Pro several times over the years, just to clean it properly, I'm again stunned and thankful about how much Sony improved in their consoldesign. So that keeping dust out, or even just checking the heatsink, isn't pure pain anymore.
it's always nice seeing a device got a proper teardown and reassembled, it gives a unique insight on how the device is designed. my childhood was GBA era and I had no idea how it works, I just know it's a game device that I must own 😅. fast-forward till now, it's amazing how ps5 managed to perform that much with just a box design. it just amazed me to see how things work, how all the parts were interconnected and well designed it is, especially the more modular disc drive. I just cleaned mine a week ago after 6 months of use, it is dusty. took the fan off and clean using brush. looked clean again.
Thanks to watching your videos over the years I have now started to take apart and fully replace thermal paste and liquid metals on my own, I did my PS5 last week!
Thank you for this tutorial, I like to clean my own counsels. I live next to train tracks and a Pepsi warehouse with about 30 tractors running around. It gets very dusty in the house. So I clean all my counsels about every 3 months. Thanks again Steve
A little worried to proceed with the later stages, but I got the confidence to do some basic cleaning. Every little helps! Thank you for this video, I’ll certainly come back to it whenever I feel the Ps5 needs a deeper clean.
It's been a minute since I've watched one of your videos, I'm not current on what happened but I can guess. It's good to see you're still at it. If you ever need a hand just let me know, you've taught me a few tricks and I wouldn't mind repaying the favor. My best for you and your's.
Followed your advice step by step and did the stage 3 cleaning, PS5 definitely needed it, and it went smoothly… Dusting out these system is like an oil change for a car, you gotta do it or it’s not gonna last as long … Appreciate the simple easy to follow video !
I originally used a Ryobi leaf blower ( just the small one ) and its always worked fine but seeing how easy a stage 2 clean i can retire my leaf blower, the console has a 5yr warranty and in the UK they wont honour it if the security seal is damaged. Keep up the good work and im happy that your hair is starting to grow back.
Hello i just wanted to say your videos inspired me to open my own workshop !! Day 3 gotta keep going Thank you so much for all the effort you do and the entertainment you provide !! Hope you are doing well i wish you all the best ❤
Just did cleaning on my phat PS5 yesterday too.. just nice u uploaded a PS5 cleaning video! All I can say from this video is that the slim is much more easier to work with than the phat version 💪💪💪
this is the best video ever about cleaning the ps5. I was kinda worried about even taking off the covers coz they take some force and i didnt wanna break em but your vid really helped me take em apart and put em back in place. Didnt need to do stage 3 cleaning but i kept watching anyways 😂
Its been a while since I've seen one of your videos. I think the last one was related to DK Oldies. In any case, I hope you crush your disease. This stuff always hits me hard. My son at the age of 5 months was diagnosed with a rare (but treatable) form of cancer. Thankfully he is in remission. Best of luck!
Thanks for this video! I've been wanting to clean mine but haven’t opened a Ps5 before. From watching your videos, I was able to work on our Ps4 over the years. I haven't watched a Ps5 tear down for cleaning before though, so this is exactly what I needed to learn. Thanks again!
You forgot to mention BW-100's unique super power: it doesn't conduct electricity, so it's safe for things like phones that can't easily have power removed! Thanks again, and best wishes.
OFC You read my mind. I was just thinking about cleaning ours the other day. Kids have it on 24 / 7 so its gotta look like a damn dust bowl on the inside.
It'll be awesome if we have the same tutorial for the Series X/S! But that aside, You are the GOAT, Steve! We all love and care for you! I really hope that your sicness is only a Chapter and we still have you for a long time :T
You are a legend, I love your videos. Thank you for having the courage to do these videos even though you are going through a healing process. I know you will get past this, once you do, promise to braid your hair after you grow it out :D
Wow steve u really are him i hope you can get better with the help of the lord, u are one of the geniuses on youtube my guy , keep that smile going my guy
Great video!!! You always do a detailed video!!! May I ask why you don't use microfiber cloths? For dust removal on the metal heatsink and heat shield?
Steve you’re a godsend for me because I love technology and I love learning how to fix things on my own or clean them. It all initially started with me learning how to tear down a ps4 original to clean it for a friend so it would stop being loud and to fix an issue where it simply wouldn’t boot. That ps4 went on to live a good while until it eventually met apu failure and the disc drive died so I tore it apart pried the apu off and it’s now a display piece in my room. But learning how to properly maintain my electronics has always been huge to me so having someone as reliable and informative as you doing the whole 9 to teach is amazing for me. Thank you Steve from tronicsfix
Steve, any chance you could show how to remove chips without using hot air? For example, by applying hot solder in order to melt existing solder to remove the chip? Hot air stations are expensive and many of us don’t have one.
@tronicsfix Hi my name is Scott and for awhile now i have been watching your electronic repair and cleaning videos and apperciate the content you have been providing for the community for cleaning and minor repairs and I too am looking into cleaning and repairing electronics. Your videos have given me the confidence to breakdown, clean and repair electronic devices too. I have, so far, broken down and cleaned PS4's and looking to exspand into more electronic devices. So, i am looking for advice on tools and equipment i would need to do stage #3 cleaning. I already have two Ifixit tool kits, IPA, can-o-air and Silicone lubricant. If there is any other tools I would need for a "STARTUP SERVICE" and advice, please feel free to contact me.
Good afternoon I noticed it in the last couple of videos but you have cancer. Hope your treatment gets better. If you need anything I have party ran through the stuff and I'm fine. They may have a copy or if they need to get a copy of myself it's there hopefully. UAB I don't know if it's open or closed.
Sir. I have a question. I've been watching your videos, and it is amazing. But, there is something that i really want to know, and i am concerned about it. I don't know how to ask with full of manners and respect in English, but i am sorry if it is too straightforward. Did u have a health issue , sir?
@Tronicsfix I'm really sorry to hear, sir. I pray to Allah so u may heal from the cancer. May you get well very soon sir. I love the way u always keep smiling in every video that u made even u are fighting with the cancer. May Allah protect u. My prayer is with u.

It might be helpful to have a playlist for the cleaning tutorials. Thanks for producing these!
Can you fix my Nintendo switch
Love your videos!
My ps5's HDMI doesn't work and I don't want to mess up soldering off and on myself lol
@@Tronicsfix can you make a video on replacing the rumble motors and the button circuit board on the PS4 controller
Oh no steve! Ive js heard you had cancer?? Youve got this man,you really thought me alot about gaming consoles and how to repair them! I want to learn more from you! All the best for your recovery ❤❤
Oh man, hopefully it was caught early and he’s gonna be fine … ✊

This is so true!
I just found this looking for a way to fix my overheating problem and I am blown away by your teaching. I hope you get better soon
I have used your PS5 cleaning video every year. I always have done a stage 2 cleaning and it has always worked great.
As someone, who had to took apart his whole PS4 Pro several times over the years, just to clean it properly, I'm again stunned and thankful about how much Sony improved in their consoldesign. So that keeping dust out, or even just checking the heatsink, isn't pure pain anymore.
You are so right! 👍

Mine is 100% clean, and it will forever be. Tip: I left it un-bought at the shop. Free and effective.
Lol, that's one way to keep it clean!
That’s where mine is too & I told em to keep it lay down.
@@InternetListener that's where my collection goes too.
And it never will be used, never expierience true gaming love and compassion and drama. Thats somewhat sad 😢
So how is it yours?
I love this tutorial of how to clean the PS5 Slim. Great job, Steve!
